LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!

You know what I’ve learned after reading this book? That I FREAKING LOVE JEWEL E ANN!!!! Her writing just blows me away and her stories end up captivating me. This series was unlike anything I’ve ever read before and at first, I was worried that it wouldn’t be for me but then it grabbed a hold of my heart and I was all in for this crazy ride!!!

Usually, there is only one guy I end up falling for in a story but this one gave me two BEAUTIFUL men to swoon over. They couldn’t be more different in every way and yet each man made my heart soar. Luke and Jackson are seriously amazing book boyfriends!

Jillian/Jessica finds herself in a precarious situation which seems all too familiar. Luke can’t stop thinking about seeing her in that hotel lobby and has this feeling in his gut that she needs him. And while Jackson gives Jillian some space, he’s also struggling with whether or not he can tell Ryn the truth about his other life as Jude Day. Once his past comes and introduces itself to his present, his chance at happiness is compromised.

We get more flashbacks from Luke and Jessica’s time together up until her faked death and every moment with Luke had me falling more and more in love with him. I can’t even count how many quotes I highlighted throughout this book!

Don’t even get me started on Jackson! The man is incredible. The way he was so passionate about Ryn even made my toes curl! Every woman over 40 needs a Jackson!! There was one moment in the book that I seriously just about had a coronary and started to have the ugly cry. I almost had to get myself seriously drunk, which is nothing new when reading one of Jewel’s books!!

On another note, Luke’s younger sister Lake was a secondary character that was a serious scene stealer. I would love it if somehow we could get a novella for her because OMG the chemistry between her and a certain someone was really intriguing me.

I am trying not to give too much detail in this review because this is a story you need to go into blind. I am telling you it is so unique and it is so damn good! Every time I read a book by Jewel, I realize more and more that she is a seriously talented author. She is definitely up there with the authors that I idolize.

Read this series!!!!!!! I promise you are in for one hell of an adventure!

This was my first Helena Hunting book and I freaking LOVED it!!!

I need to read the other two books in this series.
This can totally be read as a standalone but why would you want to miss out on books 1 & 2??

Randy Ballistic is one seriously HOT NHL Player. He’s the best friend of Miller Butterson, who was the hero in Pucked Up. Randy has messed around with many a puck bunny in his day but he tends to be a serial dater. He likes spending time with women and what I mean by spending time is he likesTHE SEX!! As soon as things get too serious, he’s out! He has his father to thank for his inability to commit. He’s so afraid of ending up like his Dad, that he refuses to get too close to any woman. There’s a whole group of women on social media who commiserate over being dumped by BALLISTIC. They all agree that the man knows how to please a woman and that he has a couple of quirks as well. He only does it in the dark and underneath the sheets!! When I found out the reason why, I fell even more in love with Randy!

Lily LeBlanc is Sunny’s best friend, who is the heroine from book two. Lily has just broken up with her boyfriend of seven years. He was pretty much a loser and was only good at making her feel inadequate. She’s never been the kind of girl to hook up with a guy for just sex, but once she meets Randy and they have quite a steamy encounter in a bathroom at a cabin they both end up in, Lily is thinking a no strings arrangement might be just what she needs.

They both agree to keep things casual and the minute they feel things heading in a serious direction, they must call it quits. So these two end up having some seriously amazing sexual rendezvous and Lily does find it odd that Randy only wants to do it in the dark. Randy is starting to feel things he hasn’t for any woman before. Other women just don’t do it for him and he’s finding himself drawn to Lily’s snarky attitude and he’s intrigued by how she challenges him at every turn.

Lily and Randy never intended to get in too deep but once reality sets in, will they be able to see the truth and risk it all for love, or will they let old insecurities take hold and ruin what could be a once in a lifetime deal??

I LOVED this book so much!! I mean three days later, I am still thinking about this book and wishing I had the time to go back and re-read it. This releases on FRIDAY!!! Get ready to fall in love wit RANDY BALLISTIC!!!!!!!!

In all honesty every single character in this book is fantastic!!!

This book is absolutely magnificent and I can guarantee that anybody who reads it will become as enthralled and addicted as I have.

I read Hearts in Darkness over two years ago and hell if I didn’t think it was one of the hottest short stories I had ever read. I thought that the story had ended perfectly but to my utter surprise I found out that there was a second book about to be released. This is the continuation of Caden and Makenna’s story.

We pick up two months after their fateful and scorching HOTrendezvous in that broken down elevator. Caden and Makenna are still going strong. Their passion for each other is even more SIZZLING. I can tell you that there are no shortages of panty melting moments in this one. Also there is PLENTY of ANGST!!! Hello, just what the doctor ordered!

Caden and Makenna have developed deep feelings for each other in a short amount of time. However, Caden is afraid of what he is feeling and how much Makenna has grown to mean to him. Life has been pretty cruel and unfair to him. He still suffers from PTSD, a result from the deadly car accident he was in when he was young, where he lost his mother and younger brother. He’s afraid that things are too perfect and life will deal him another blow by taking Makenna away from him. He also seems to think he isn’t good enough for her.

Makenna is crazy in love with Caden and wants to make her feelings known to him but she knows about his condition and that it could make him spiral out of control. Circumstances arise and in the heat of the moment Makenna reveals her feelings. Caden lets his emotions take him back into a very dark place.

Will he be able to pull himself out of the darkness in time? Or will he let the darkness take over and lose the one true love he has ever known?

Epic read! The more you read the more you want. Aleatha Romig will seduce all of your senses with this complex tale of love and deception…

I really don’t want to say much because I love the element of mystery in this story. It’s something this author is a master at; she always keeps you guessing and you can’t ever imagine what is going to happen next, and I love that about her books.

Nox’s past is a mystery and that is something he’s trying really hard to keep in the shadows, and away from Charli. But the past turns out to be the one thing that links them together after all.

Their strong chemistry keeps growing, and as they discover more about each other, they realize that what’s important is who they are in the privacy of their relationship and away from the prying eyes of the world. But money and blood will threaten to destroy everything they have and push them apart. Will those against them succeed?

The intricacy and richness of this story will keep the reader enthralled and asking for more. These books just get better and better.

The Infidelity series will have five books in total, each book will be released 3 to 4 months apart. Nox and Charli’s story will continue with Deception, scheduled to release May 3, 2016.

They feel a strong connection, but both decide a long distance relationship wouldn’t work. As they are apart they both miss each other terribly. This is the first time Lucas has wanted something more with a woman. Lucas makes the decision to pursue her & go after what he wants, but that’s easier said than done. He’s absolutely obsessed with her, & they both fall hard for one another, but when he lets his tragic past & fears dictate his future, & is unwilling to compromise this causes issues for the couple. Lawry is a strong, independent woman who won’t settle for anything less than what she deserves & she wants the fairytale! This was a fabulous love story I really enjoyed & I look forward to Oliver & Porter’s books up next! 😀

Elle Kennedy definitely has another HIT on her hands with this one. The OFF CAMPUS series delivers the HOTTEST Hockey Players, panty melting scenes, and laugh out loud moments as well. Each guy is pretty cocky and gorgeous, but never do they come off as narcissistic pricks.

Dean Di Laurentis is a serious PLAYER. He enjoys sex and is a serious exhibitionist as well. He also doesn’t have any desire to be in a serious relationship with any woman and he always makes his intentions clear with every girl he hooks up with. The one time he attempted to be in a relationship ended disastrously and several years later he is still haunted by the past.

Allie Hayes is Hannah’s best friend and roommate. Hannah is Garrett’s girlfriend and I’m sure none of you have forgotten THE DEAL. That book was on my top ten of 2015 list. Allie has just broken up with her boyfriend of the past three years and is feeling vulnerable. She wants a clean break from him but he isn’t willing to give up on her. So in order to avoid her ex, she spends the night at Garrett’s house, where as luck would have it, Dean happens to be.

But as they start to spend more time together, feelings begin to develop and pretty soon they question whether there might be something more than just sex between them.

We learn how life has been pretty unfair to Allie and how things aren’t always what they seem where Dean is concerned. He lets people think he’s just a pretty face with a limited vocabulary, but he’s destined for Harvard Law and it’s due to his academic prowess and not his family’s bank account. I found myself comparing Dean to Grayson from The Friend Zone, which only made him that much more lovable to me.

There were some angst filled moments, but they were quickly resolved and I wished that they had been drawn out just a bit longer. Expect to laugh your ass off at least a few times, especially during the bath tub scene with Winston. The steamy scenes were seriously freaking HAWT!! Dean is pretty insatiable and I guarantee that you will either be taking a few cold showers, attacking your man, or spending some quality time with your Winstons.

This book releases on Jan 11^th and I know you’re all going to fall in love with this story and Dean!!

Allie Hayes is a 22 yr. old college student at Briar University. She is in her senior year & about to graduate with a degree in drama. She is trying to get over a break up, and does something completely out of character. She has rebound sex with the gorgeous sexy hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis. Dean is known as a total manwhore. He’s arrogant, rich, superficial & the biggest flirt ever. She has one of the hottest sexual experiences of her life with Dean, but decides it can only be a one time thing, & nothing more.

She is a relationship kind of girl & just doesn’t really take him seriously, but Dean can be very persuasive! ;)) I really LOVED this book!!! It was my favorite in this series. Dean in love just stole my heart! Adored his sense of humor & there was so much more to him. He’s intelligent, caring, & of course HOT, HOT, HOT!!! I highly recommend this book!!! 😀

Another deliciously funny love story by Elle Kennedy. The whole hockey gang is back to deliver even more hilarious antics, and sexy times. This time around it’s Dean De Laurentis’ turn; he is the famous player of the team. Well, he has found his match in Allie, a sassy girl who’s about to give him a run for his money…

This page turner will keep you highly entertained and laughing so much your belly will ache.

This couple was the perfect combination of sassy and sweet. Great chemistry and super fun banter.

The Score is a wonderful addition to the Off-Campus series, which is already a favorite amongst romance readers. Elle Kennedy’s writing style is always charming and incredibly entertaining, making this book another hit and one you definitely don’t want to miss.

There was darkness in both of us. And light. I could not claim to have saved him. I could only say that the moment I answered that phone, we began to save each other. Over and over again, in big and small ways.

I think this is one of the rare times that I feel like this was an, “it’s me and not you”, deal over a book I finished reading. I saw so much love for this series and my friends were saying how much they loved this particular book, but I didn’t come away with that same feeling. I am sad. I tried. Maybe it was because I started this the night before going back to work, after having a two and a half week long vacation. Or maybe it’s because I had to put this book on hold a few days in order to read a Beta. In any case, I will say the writing is good and there were aspects of the story that I really did enjoy.

This book picks up where the first one left off. Annie’s past has come back with a vengeance. We get a lot of serious drama and action right from the get go. She and Dylan wind up in the hospital, but things seem to be looking up for the two since a threat has been dealt with. Little do they know there’s an even bigger problem awaiting them.

There were moments I found myself bored and other times I was just seriously tired of all the push and pull going on between Dylan and Annie. Both would on separate occasions feel this need to push the other away and in the next breath they were clinging on to each other for dear life. The sex was incredibly steamy, but at times I wondered was this all they had going for them? They even questioned that themselves.

What I really enjoyed, were the moments Dylan shared with his father. There was so much pain between them, but with help from Annie, Dylan was able to open up little by little to Ben. I was happy that he got his closure there because he was holding on to so much hurt from the past, feeling like his brother and father abandoned him when he needed them the most. I even enjoyed the bits between Dylan and his brother, Max.

Overall it’s not a bad story. I think if I had chosen to read this at another time, I may have loved it more. I would say to give this a go and not to let my review affect your decision to read this.
