September 9th –
Synopsis:
Kira Dallaire is desperate.
Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.
Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.
Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.
What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they’ll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.
As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.
I have always enjoyed reading but have gone through periods of my life where it had been years that I had picked up a book. That all changed back in 2012 when a friend told me about the FSOG trilogy. I have Christian Grey and E.L. James to thank for my renewed book reading addiction. Not a day goes by that I don’t spend at least an hour or two reading. I am finally so at peace and happy with my life, and it’s all because of the amazing books that are out there.
My favorite tropes are friends to lovers, second chance romances, and romances with the older brothers best friend. I do love rom-coms, ANGSTY reads, and MC books as well. I’d say Tillie Cole’s Hades Hangmen and Joanna Wylde’s Reapers series are my fave about MCs. I ADORE Jodi Ellen Malpas, Nina Lane, SC Stephens, Jewel E Ann, Tillie Cole, Alice Clayton, Kate Stewart, T Torrest, Katy Evans, Mia Sheridan, Emma Chase, and I could go on but this could take up the entire page!!!
I had always wanted to run a book blog but never had the guts to try. Not until my Beautiful Bestie Dee gave me the courage and wanted to go on this journey together with me. We make a great team and I hope that we can bring some amazing books into your lives as well.
Patty

Oh and let me introduce you to the biggest love of my life, who will also be Wrapped Up In Reading’s mascot, my Phoebe!! She’s a little Diva, with a big attitude. She also loves to read and has a HUGE crush on David Gandy!!
I’ve been a book lover since I was a kid. I always loved getting lost inside beautiful stories. A few years ago I went from reading ten books a year to four a week. I became addicted to reading and reviewing. I love putting my feelings down and creating images and music playlists that describe my experience with a book.
I love discovering new authors, and sharing new books with everyone. That’s how the idea of this blog was born. My best friend and I were always reading together and sharing our thoughts and ideas about our books, and that always made the experience so much better. We met through our mutual love for books and very quickly an incredible friendship was formed. We are each unique about our tastes in books but together we’ve come to form a great team. We hope you can enjoy our book finds and have fun reading with us.
I’m just a girl with a passion for books, I moved to South Florida from Venezuela when I was sixteen. A perfect day for me is staying at home wrapped up in a book while enjoying a glass of red wine. I’m also a travel enthusiast, I love to discover new places and different cultures and in this blog I’ll share my travel tips with you all as well.
Some of my favorite authors are Kristen Ashley, Penny Reid, Susan Fanetti and Tiffany Reisz just to name a few. I love stories with angst, Alpha Males and strong heroines. I tend to stay away from love triangles but other than that I’m open to reading anything.
Thank you for visiting our page and I hope you will be part of our adventures.
Dee.

Derek Block was even more romantic, more Alpha, and just more of everything delicious, that had already made me fall in love with him from the previous books. Frankie was also amazing in this last episode, I had always liked her but this time around I was totally looking forward to reading the chapters with her POV, because she was the epitome of the strong female character I love reading about in a story.
In this last episode, Derek and Frankie finally surrender to the love that has blossomed between them. Derek tells her all the truths about his revenge plans against the man who killed his father, and as Frankie learns about all the pain he had suffered, the walls that were still protecting her heart, ultimately crumbled. There’s still a few loose ends and more pain for Frankie, but with Derek by her side she feels stronger and safer than ever before.
Derek will stop at nothing to protect his Pink Ivory, his devotion to her completely melted my heart.
Episode five was the perfect ending for a story that provided me with all the wonderful feelings I look for, when reading a book. Marni Mann takes us on a journey of true love that completely captivated my heart, solidifying my admiration for her as an author. I really recommend this series because it has everything a romance reader loves and so much more…

***** 5 DREAMY DUANE Stars*****
(ARC kindly provided by author ❤ ❤ )
If you read the book Beauty and the Mustache, chances are you already fell in love with the Winston Brothers and are desperately waiting to read this first installment of the spin off series. Book #1 aka Truth or Beard is about Duane. He is a twin, handsome, Alpha Male, ginger, bearded and completely dreamy. (I could go on and on with positive adjectives to describe how scrumptious he is…)
Jessica James is back in her home town in Tennessee after graduating collage. Her goal is to live at home with her parents for the next two years, while working as a Math teacher in the town’s high school so she can save money to pay off her students loans, and then go on to travel the world. Her life dream has always been to travel the globe. She wants to live in exciting places and learn about different cultures. She can’t see herself staying in her little town forever.
Duane Winston is one of the six notorious Winston Brothers. He’s a mechanic and part owner of the town’s auto shop, extremely handsome, and a total Alpha male who is not afraid of much. He’s known he has been in love with his childhood nemesis Jessica James, since the day she threw his board shorts on top of a tree and now that she is back in town, he’s putting in place his plan to court her. What happens when after a very hot and heavy make-out session, Duane realizes she’s only kissing him because she’s confused him with his twin brother, Beau?
Jessica’s feelings are a mess after learning she’s been kissed by the wrong twin, not the one she’s been crushing on forever, the nice one, but by the one who has been a pain in her neck for the better part of her childhood. Duane has always been so mean to her, when they were kids they were always fighting. So why is he kissing her so good now and talking about them being suited? And why does she like him so much?
Once the confusion is cleared and the truth reveals how much these two like each other, the possibility of a hot romance surfaces. But leave it to Penny Reid to deliciously complicate the plot with an array of unexpected and crazy-funny situations that make this romantic story so much more than just another love story.
I’m not surprised that I loved this book as much as I did because I’m a junky for Penny Reid’s smart and hilarious writing style and she is the main provider of hot Alpha Male material for my spank bank. The woman has a talent for creating the most amazing heroes and always pairs them with a super awesome and usually sassy heroine as well. I loved the combination of Duane and Jessica because they were such opposites, yet they complimented each other beautifully and it was a ton of fun reading about their love story. Two thumbs up to Penny for delivering an impressive first book on a series that promises nothing short of one hell of crazy ride. Keep ’em coming Penny!!!!

****4.5 Thunderous Stars*****
(Arc Kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review)
Whether it’s a King or a Tyrant, T.M Frazier once again rules. This book was every bit as explosive and passionate as expected by all of us fans of the dark and beautiful romance, created by the pen of this talented author.
Tyrant starts right where the last book ended. King was betrayed and the pain of the reality of making such a detrimental mistake, will fuel his fury and thirst for vengeance. Nobody can be trusted, nothing is what it seems. Only one thing is certain, and that is the love and devotion King and Doe have for each other. No matter how hard, how far, or how much pain these two have to go through, their love will be the only key to survival.
Doe is thrown back in a world that is supposed to feel familiar to her, her home, her family but everything about her past feels wrong. She struggles trying to connect the dots between the girl she once was, and the woman she has become. Everyday she’s without King means pain and anger and the uncertainty of her future is not helping her situation at all. I loved that Doe remained strong, even when weakness was imminent, she kept going and never lost her faith in the love King had promised her.
This book comes packed with so much angst and so many twists; from the very first chapter Tyrant will swallow you whole. You’ll be transported to a world where Brantley King makes his own rules and anybody standing in his way, will pay a high and bloody price. There were so many surprises and excitement in the plot, so expect your jaw to hit the floor more than once while reading this novel. Definitely expect King to own not only your heart but every single one of your emotions.
Ultimately my favorite part of the book was the beautiful epilogue but keep in mind, that is a very T.M Frazier style ending, unique and unexpected. She loves to play with our emotions until the very end of the story. Reading both books of this duet was such an exhilarating experience. I guarantee that this book will be a hit with anybody looking for a dark, romantic thriller.
My Tyrant music playlist:
*Welcome To The Jungle by Guns N’ Roses
*I’m In Love with a Monster by Fifth Harmony
*Hurt by Christina Aguilera
*Tyrant by OneRepublic

4.5 My Weakness Is Him Stars!
(BR with Dee)
Ryan Wesley aka Wes is a sexy, tattooed, rule breaking bad boy who doesn’t do commitments. He plays hockey for Northern Mass & is the #2 offensive scorer in the nation. His former best friend is Jamie Canning, the hot, big blond sunkissed California boy who is the goalie for Rainier. Wes & Jamie met nine years ago at the prestigious hockey summer camp called Elites in Lake Placid, New York. They began attending camp every summer from about the age of 13 & were always roommates
After 6 yrs. of friendship one drunken night changes everything. At the age of 18 Wes has realized he has a serious crush on Jamie. Hoping his attraction isn’t one sided, he suggests a bet that will test the boundaries with his straight friend. Things happen that Wes later regrets. He feels awkward & is insecure about what Jamie thinks of him. As a result he cuts off all contact with Jamie without any explanation rather than face possible rejection.
Jamie & Wes haven’t spoken in 4 yrs. Jamie is still hurt Wes cut him out of his life. He was his best friend through Jr. High & HS, and Wes was the one friend he valued over any other. He is angry with him, but also misses him. He never knew what to expect when it came to Wes, & hanging out with him was always an adventure. Now after all this time, the guys college teams are about to face off at the National Championship Tournament in Boston. They know they will see each other & it will be uncomfortable, but Jamie wants answers to why Wes threw away their friendship, & Wes wants to apologize. They re-connect & talk about that night when they were 18, & are both so happy to see each other. Wes realizes he overreacted & misjudged Jamie.
Wes finds out Jamie has been coaching at their old summer camp & decides to coach this summer as well. One look at the 1st guy he’s ever loved, and he wants to be closer to him. They are both about to graduate college & move on to the NHL, & Wes would like one more summer with Jamie again. They are roommates again, & Jamie soon is discovering new things about himself. He is feeling more than friendship for Wes, & wants to explore this new attraction, & to Wes’s surprise can be quite bold. They coach alongside one another for the next 6 weeks, & grow closer. Things heat up fast between these two & it turns into a beautiful love story. This is my fav MM book I’ve read! Just enjoyed it so much! Both of these guys are such gentle, big hearted, amazing men! This book was smoking hot & a fabulous read! I highly recommend it! 😀
-I’d forgotten how magnetic he is. As if he burns with higher test fuel than the rest of us.
-I’ve always felt a little more alive when he’s around. Life is just a little brighter, a little louder wherever Wes is.
-I’m comfortable with him. I have fun with him. I’m not trying to impress anyone. It’s…easy.
-The brush of his lips make me shiver and lean in for more. Soft lips continue to press kisses on my face. On my neck. Their gentleness feels unfamiliar to me now. And the contrast between the size and strength of this man and the softness of his touch makes goosebumps rise on my chest.
-Sometimes I think he’s not even aware of how goddamn attractive he is.
-I’d always fucking wanted this guy.
-I’d wanted to touch him more than I’d wanted my next breath.
-Why can’t I look at him without imagining all the dirty, dirty things I want to do to him?
-This guy…goddamn it, this guy. I’ve never wanted anyone the way I want Canning. The way I crave Canning.
