Her outlook on love was tarnished the moment her father passed away, and her mother became a shell of the person she used to be. It’s like her mother lost her will to carry on once she lost the love of her life. Bren knew from that moment on that she never wanted a man to have that kind of an impact on her life. Having gone without sex for what seems like a decade, Bren starts to have an itch that needs to be scratched so she goes out on her own to find an able and willing man to give her some sexual satisfaction. She never expected to be approached by the most gorgeous man she’s ever laid eyes on. They end up going back to his place and have the absolute best sex of their lives, but the next morning she sneaks off without leaving her number since it was never her intention to pursue anything more with Mason. For two weeks, he’s been walking with his head in a fog. He is completely floored when he realizes his new patient is Bren. The fact that she’s in to take a pregnancy test is another huge shock for him but he couldn’t be happier now that Bren is back in his life.

While Bren is extremely skittish about giving the relationship a chance, Mason is certain that they’re meant to be. He is able to convince her to hold off from finding out the results of the pregnancy test for one month so that during that time they can get to know each other and Mason hopes that Bren will come to realize that they have a real chance at true love.

I really loved Mason but thought he was just too perfect and that Bren didn’t deserve him. Her reasons for pushing him away didn’t seem as valid to me. I wished that she had made more of an effort to make the relationship work. By the time she got her head out of her ass, her attempts to show Mason how she felt seemed too little too late in my opinion. If it weren’t for how incredibly swoon worthy and sweet Mason was, I think I probably would have ended up liking this one even less.

Emma Chase has been one of my most adored authors since I read her debut novel, TANGLED, over four years ago. Her books are at the upper echelon of the RomCom genre. I’ve fallen in love with every series she has created and I might sound like a broken record but I think the ROYALLY series has become my new favorite by this amazingly gifted author. I swear this series has been nothing short of BRILLIANT. It just keeps getting better and every time I’m just floored because I couldn’t fathom that it was even possible!! I have loved every single one of Ms. Chase’s Heroes and shockingly, I have adored all of her Heroines as well. ROYALLY ENDOWED was SWEET PERFECTION from beginning to end. I know a book is pretty darn fabulous when I am nearing the last page and am heartbroken that I can’t stay lost in the story for a little while longer. I predict that Logan and Ellie’s story is going to sweep readers off their feet!!

 

 

Ellie Hammond is Princess Olivia’s smart and vivacious little sister. The two have always been very close and their relationship became so much more when their mother was taken from them too early in life. Ellie wants her sister to have a shot at happiness so she promises to take care of the family Diner for the summer so that Olivia can spend a few months in Wessco with Prince Nicholas. The beginning of this story coincides with part of the timeline from the first book, Royally Screwed. While they are away in Wessco, Prince Nicholas makes a request of his top security agent, Logan St. James, to stay behind in New York City and to look after young Ellie. Logan is not a fan of being a baby sitter but Prince Nicholas has always been like a brother to him and he’d do anything for the Prince. So Logan and a few men on the security team, stay behind to look after Ellie and help out at the Diner as well.

 

 

From the moment Logan walked into her life, Ellie had been completely smitten. He’s been the leading man in most of her teenaged girl fantasies. Her charming personality and love for life have quickly endeared herself to Logan. He knows that Ellie has a crush on him and even if deep down he feels an attraction to her as well, he keeps it all locked up since she is underage. But as the years fly by and they’ve been a part of each other’s lives, Ellie grows up to be an even more impossibly beautiful woman and Logan’s willpower to stay away from her is hanging on by the tiniest of threads.

When Olivia becomes pregnant with twins and Prince Nicholas realizes that moving back to the palace in Wessco would be safer for his wife and unborn children, Ellie decides to delay her plans of going to graduate school for a year and moves with them. The passion between these two nearly burn up the pages of this book! Imagine years of the most insane unrequited desires for someone finally being fulfilled. Ellie and Logan spend countless days and hours just getting lost in each other. Life seems nearly perfect but in order to live a happily ever after together, Logan must give up the one thing that has brought purpose and respect to his life—his job as the Royals bodyguard. Can Logan be truly happy without the one thing that enabled him to rise above his impoverished and destitute beginning?

 

 

This book was everything and more to me. I loved Logan and Ellie beyond words and having the rest of the Royals along for the ride was an extra slice of heaven. Prince Nicholas was, as always, the definition of swoon worthy. He made my heart flutter more than once during this one. I can’t say that this is my favorite in the series because honestly, each book has been outstanding. There’s really no way to compete!!

While Nicholas & Olivia head to the palace for a while, they’ve asked Logan to stay in New York to guard Olivia’s little sister Ellie. Protecting the royal family is his duty, & now he has to keep tabs on an American teenage girl. Logan is in his early 20’s when he first meets Ellie. He can tell she has a massive crush on him, but keeps things professional. He just keeps reminding himself she’s young & off limits, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy her company. She’s funny & sweet, and he likes spending time with her.

 

Ellie Hammond is in her senior year of high school when she first meets the adonis perfection that is Logan St. James. The man is absolutely stunning. He’s brooding & a little serious, but he makes her feel safe & cared for. He’s brave, loyal, and makes her feel precious & special. Clara has been friends with Pippa and Summer for quite some time and is loved by the entire Bennett clan. They consider her an honorary member of the family, which means everything to her as she was orphaned at a very young age and grew up in the foster care system. Her earlier days were far from idyllic and she always longed for a loving family. Clara’s lease on her apartment ends in a couple of days and the condo she was supposed to move into is still under construction. Blake Bennett comes to her rescue when he offers her the apartment next to his which is above the bar he co-owns with his sister. The apartment is newly renovated and he offers her to stay as long as she wants–RENT FREE!! Clara is a little hesitant to accept because she doesn’t want to take advantage of Blake’s generosity but also she has had the biggest crush on him for quite some time and being that close in proximity to him could become a challenge for her.

 

 

While Clara thinks the attraction is one-sided, Blake has had a secret crush on her as well. He’s been known to be a huge player but that’s only because women have taken advantage of him for his wealth in the past. It’s caused him to be extra cautious with his personal relationships. He seems to have a one-track mind and it’s consumed with his fierce attraction towards Clara.

Blake has a serious challenge ahead of him as not everyone believes that his intentions towards Clara are honorable. His brothers and even Clara seem to think that this is just a passing fling and when things eventually come to an end between them, both Clara and the Bennett’s will lose a very special friendship. It’s going to take everything he’s got to prove to them all that he sees a forever kind of love with Clara.

I’ve never relied on another human, but Racer brightened my day, he made the bumps in the road seem non-existent, and he made my accomplishments feel like I had the power to do anything. He made me feel warm, protected, loved. But now…all I feel is hurt. I hurt myself loving him.

 

 

FLAWLESS—without any blemishes or imperfections; perfect.That’s what comes to mind as I try to gather up my thoughts and write a review for this wonderful story. I want to use all the right words to convey just how much this book unequivocally captured my heart. Words can be beautiful, powerful, and what made TWISTED TWOSOME so special and definitely my FAVORITE book by Meghan Quinn, is that she created two incredible characters who knew the power of words and they used them wisely. This can be read as a standalone but it is linked to ”CO-WRECKER and ”MY BEST FRIEND’s EX”. If you haven’t read them, they’re really worth checking out.

 

 

We met Racer McKay in ”MY BEST FRIEND’s EX”. He was Tucker’s goofball friend who also works with him for the same construction company. My first impression was that this guy was a little too silly and immature. Well, my assumptions were completely obliterated by this story! I am going to go as far as stating that Racer is the BEST and most SWOON WORTHY of all the Heroes from this series. Life has been beyond a struggle for Racer for the past few years and the sadness that he holds close to his heart made me fall completely in love with him. Racer’s father passed away leaving behind a mountain of debt from all of the medical bills he incurred. But Racer is not bitter in the least. He and his father shared a special bond. His love for his dad is something to behold. He takes odd jobs on the side on top of his 9 to 5 gig in order to make mortgage payments on the house he and his dad built together. Sometimes he can barely afford to buy food, but luckily he has the most amazing friends, Tucker and Smalls, who keep him fed with the occasional pizza pies and Little Debbie treats.

 

 

This book starts off with some of the most laugh out loud hysterically funny scenes ever. The things Racer has to do to make an extra buck will have you in stitches. During one of his side jobs, he meets the entitled and spoiled daughter of the man who hired him to renovate his pool house. Racer thinks he has Georgiana Westbrook pegged from the moment he spots her by the pool in her tiny bikini and high heels. He thinks that they come from two different worlds and that Georgie doesn’t have any real problems except for deciding what to wear to her next party or what color to paint her toes. What he will soon realize is she is not the snobby uptown girl he originally judged her to be. Georgie has a degree in Business and her dream is to open up her own Bridal Boutique. Her plan was to put together a presentation and impress her father with her possible business venture, and hopefully get a portion of her trust fund a few years early in order to build and open her Bridal shop. Her dad shoots her down quickly, letting her know she is to find herself a suitable husband and leave the business deals to the men of the family.

Luckily her older brother comes to her rescue and loans her the money but when her father hears she is going ahead with her plans, he uses his reputation and connections with all the local contractors and makes it so that none of them will take Georgie on as a client. After some failed attempts at DIY by watching Youtube videos, Georgie is desperate and she ends up going to the incredibly rude & sexy contractor who worked on her dad’s pool house renovation.

 

 

The snarky banter and practical jokes that fire between these two had me laughing out loud quite often throughout the story. Racer and Georgie enjoyed getting a rise out of each other, and they also had a hard time fighting the insane attraction building between them. While at first they may have thought they were complete opposites, as they spend almost every night together working on the shop renovations, it becomes apparent that they actually might be absolutely perfect together. It all starts to unfold when Georgie shares her notebook that she has kept for years that contains all the beautiful words that have come to mean so much to her and have brought comfort when needed. I dare you not to feel something when Racer and Georgie start to fall and how they express their love through “words”.

This book deserves all the stars and I hope that when it goes LIVE, that you all will do the smart thing, and one-click.

There are so many great things I could say about this book, and I will believe me. But I’m going to start with; SPEND THE $9.99 AND BUY THIS BOOK. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY! In fact, I think it should cost more, it’s that good.

This book is the sexy fantasy all of us women dream about. And with the help of this author’s poignant writing style, you will be the protagonist of this story. You will forget that you are reading, you will be part of the romance, the passion, and the heartbreak, you will become Solène.

 

 

Solène Merchant is a thirty-nine year old divorced woman, she has a twelve-year-old daughter and owns an art gallery with her best friend. She married young and being a wife and a mother as much as she loved her family, stripped her of her own identity. Ever since the divorce happened she’s been looking to find herself again. She loves her job, her home and her life but she has a hard time putting her own needs first.

Her daughter had concert tickets to go see the successful boy band all girls were crazy about and Solène got roped into taking her and her friends. They also had meet and greet tickets so they could meet the dreamy members of this band. All the boys were very cute and charming but there was one that stood out from the others, Hayes Campbell.

After meeting them, Hayes offered them backstage passes, where he proceeded to make his interest in Solène very obvious. Weeks later he called her at work to invite her to lunch. She was hesitant because even though she wasn’t immune to this guy’s charm, she couldn’t possibly even fathom that she could be attracted to a twenty-year-old. But it is just lunch, he offered, and that is how this passionate and forbidden affair started. It was supposed to be, just lunch.

Solène had always been responsible and sensible to other peoples feelings, but this time around she wanted to bask in the passion this man was offering. She felt alive, she felt sexy and beautiful in the arms of this boy who could offer her everything except a future.

This story had the most beautiful settings and amazing characters. The words so vivid, made me truly believe I was inside the story. The passion and the angst made me feel euphoric, and I couldn’t get enough. I read this book in only one night; The Idea Of You was impossible to put down. Best $10 I’ve ever spent in my life.

I’ll read this book again, and again.

I had seen this book starting to generate a buzz on Goodreads and I have to say that my interest was piqued as I’m always in search of a good romance between an older woman and younger man. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to my Bestie Boo for gifting this book and urging me to drop everything and read it. She was right! This book was captivating! The romance was breathtaking and oh so very heartbreaking. I know this story is going to haunt me for quite some time. It felt so real! For just a little while it was wonderful to live in the world of these two beautiful characters whose love for each other was beyond magical.

Soléne Marchand is a single mother of a beautiful thirteen-year-old girl. At nearly forty, her life is pretty fulfilling and rewarding. She owns a successful art gallery with her best friend. It brings her great joy but it is one of the reasons why her marriage ended a few years back. Her husband was not supportive of her need to have a career. Her love life has been non-existent since her divorce but that’s all about to change drastically when she ends up chaperoning her daughter and a few of her friends to an “August Moon” concert in Las Vegas. The girls all had backstage passes and during a meet and greet Soléne comes face to face with the extremely beautiful lead singer, Hayes Campbell. Sparks fly right from the start between them. Soléne is just a little thrown off kilter when she learns he’s twenty—nearly half her age!

 

 

The two manage to find time here and there when Hayes is able to be in Los Angeles during breaks in their world tour. Hayes and Soléne have an undeniably intense chemistry but neither of them could have anticipated that what was building between them was like nothing else they had ever experienced before. Their passion for each other was bordering on obsession and out of that came a love that was so overwhelming and ultimately they were consumed by it.

They travel to some of the most beautiful and romantic destinations across the world during August Moon’s tour and while they’re able to spend some stolen moments enjoying each other’s bodies and getting lost in their passionate affair, things are far from perfect. Soléne is constantly reminded of their age difference and having to deal with many obsessed fans, and also the horrible backlash via social media. She’s also been keeping her relationship with Haye’s a secret from her daughter because her little girl has quite the teenaged crush on Hayes.

While Soléne has been keeping in the back of her mind the knowledge that their time together will ultimately come to an end, Hayes has been falling just as hopelessly in love with her as she has been with him. He sees Soléne as his FOREVER. At times I felt that he was so much wiser than his years and then on other occasions, he was very much a young boy with a romanticized view of life.

 

 

This story was incredible and I enjoyed the hours I spent getting swept away by this captivating romance. I wished for rainbows and unicorns. I was left in tears. The author did an outstanding job with this book. I love it when a book can make me feel so intensely and I know in my heart that this is one I will read time and time again.

 

 

EXQUISITE! I will always love Hayes but I will also always admire Soléne for her extraordinary strength of character and selflessness.

I HIGHLY recommend this one!

I have loved this series from the very first book to the last. Honestly, if I had to pick a favorite, I’d have to say that this one is it! I love the ”friends-to-lovers” trope and this story is about two of the most amazing people, who start out as the best of friends, ”thick as thieves” and turn out to be the most endearing and memorable couple out of everyone. The entire gang from the previous books are back and very much present throughout this story and that only helped to increase my reading pleasure. Out of all three installments, this one had the most heart and it also nearly destroyed me. I went from laughing to being incredibly turned on by the schmexy, and then crying from the devastating plot twist. It’s sad to have to say goodbye to this series but it’s been one hell of a ride along the way! Maybe someday I’ll go back and start from the beginning again.

Reagan Holloway is Roman and Ram’s cherished baby sister and CFO of the family business. She’s incredibly sweet and has this strong need to please her family. It’s actually caused her to choose poorly when it came to her ex-boyfriends and she might have stuck in bad relationships longer than she should have to avoid criticism. Somehow she thought her family would be disappointed in her if she yet again turned out to have another failed relationship. If anything, this to me was her only character flaw and at times it could be irritating. But there’s one man who has caused her heart to beat a little faster and had her stomach fluttering with anticipation and that’s her best friend, Linc. Linc is Andie’s stepbrother and he’s what you would consider a bad boy, but really he’s just misunderstood.

 

 

Lincoln Carter has not lived his life on the straight and narrow path. It all stems from his father’s abuse of his mother and ultimate abandonment when he was a young boy. Linc did a lot of rebelling and wound up in juvie more than a few times. He’s only ever committed petty crimes, but he’s recently messed with the wrong people and he’s on the run from them. He escapes New Jersey and heads off to spend time with his step-sister, but he never expected to come face to face with a living angel who would own his heart from the moment they first met.

Linc and Reagan become best friends almost immediately but all the while they each try to control the intense attraction they both are feeling. Their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore and soon Linc and Reagan give in to their desires and these two are without a doubt, the hottest couple of this series. This is probably not a good book to read while going through an oppressive heat wave where the temperature feels like it’s 100+ degrees!! I nearly combusted from a near heat stroke!

While the two are exploring this new territory in their relationship together, a secret that Linc is holding on to and refuses to open up about threatens to tear the couple apart. We get some heart pounding action and the end result nearly crushed me. I was thinking just how evil these two authors were for playing with my emotions like that.

 

 

All I can say is that the story wraps up perfectly and we get to be in each character’s head for just a little while longer during the amazing epilogue.

My favorite thing about reading the books in this series is that you can tell these two authors have an absolute blast writing together. Their amazing chemistry comes across so flawlessly in their books, making their fun contagious to the reader. So be prepared to have a grand ‘Ol time while reading Linc and Reagan’s sassy love story.

 

Linc and Reagan are best friends, thick as thieves. The problem is that they are insanely attracted to each other. Reagan doesn’t have the best dating record, and sometimes she feels like she’s disappointing her family by dating one loser after another. Which is why she is dating a very boring and proper guy who works in her company as the HR manager and all her family loves him.

Linc is used to living his life in the fast lane, getting in trouble, partying hard. People around him always judge him based on his looks and his bad rep. He never used to care about what people said or thought about him before, that is until he realized he has deep feelings for his best friend Reagan. Now he wants to straighten up his act and be the man she deserves.

Porter is overwhelmed lately doing all the graphic design & marketing, as well as testing out new beers for Lovibond. He is in desperate need of some help, so he’s relieved he will soon have an intern to pick up some of the slack.

Frankee Dawson is a 21 yr. old woman who recently graduated college with a degree in graphic design & marketing. She is excited to have an interview at Lovibond & is hoping she gets their summer internship. If she gets the job, her boss will be a guy she’s been crushing on since she was 16. A man she’d always thought was absolutely gorgeous. Porter has always known her as an awkward teenager. She hasn’t seen him in about three years, & she can’t help but hope he notices how much she’s changed.

 

Porter is stunned when the girl he once referred to as kiddo walks into his office for an interview. Little Frankee is all grown up & a beautiful woman. He’s known her for about five years, since Lovibond opened, and her father came to work for them as their warehouse manager. She’s always been like family. Porter struggles with not acting on his desire for Frankee, but eventually fails & gives in and makes a move on her.

I really enjoyed this whole series & adore all the Lovibond men! Porter was super delicious & I’d been looking forward to his story for a while. He didn’t disappoint. I loved this series takes place where I live. I’ve been to all the places in the book, so that was super cool.

This series is definitely one of Aly Martinez’s best to date! The story held me captive from beginning to end. What I love about Aly’s stories are that her characters are not perfect but they manage to rise above their adversities. There is something so beautiful and equally haunting about Porter and Charlotte’s relationship and let me just add that normally I am one who lives for the romance in my books but with this story, I was consumed with the plot. Aly took an impossibly heartbreaking situation and gave it an exquisite ending. I am truly in awe of Ms. Martinez’s talents!

Porter and Charlotte were delivered the most shocking news of their lives at the end of book one. It was both a blessing and what could be considered someone’s worst nightmare coming to fruition. Even though Travis is not Porter’s biological son, the two share a love and bond that goes beyond blood. That boy is his life and Porter is Travis’ entire universe. Travis is taken from the only home and family he’s ever known. Being that he’s only ten-years-old Travis is not able to fully grasp the situation. All he knows is that he is being kept from his father and sister and forced to stay with Charlotte—she may be his biological mother but she is nothing more than a stranger to him. The situation is adding more stress on Travis which doesn’t bode well for his heart condition.

 

 

I felt my heart breaking for everyone in this story. There were so many layers to the complexity of the situation that I often wondered how the author would be able to resolve it all while still keeping her readers satisfied. There was literally one heart stopping moment when I almost threw my iPad against the wall and was going to rate this a two but luckily it was just my jumping to the wrong conclusion too quickly.

Porter and Charlotte were able to put aside their fears which in and of itself was a true miracle because I highly doubt that if this were to happen in real life that anyone would be able to ignore their own needs and really consider what the best approach would be for all parties involved. But will their love be able to survive the challenges that lay ahead of them? Can they save each other from the darkness that is always threatening to pull them into despair?

He was on a professional cooking TV show, & now he owns a restaurant in L.A. called Knife & is working on opening another restaurant in Vegas. He’s cocky & a perfectionist. He lives in the Hollywood Hills & has it all.

 

Cole likes things done his way in the kitchen. He’s worked hard to get where he is, & when he gives instruction, its to be followed. When a new chef named Willow decides to do things her own way Cole is furious.

Willow is a beautiful woman from Idaho. After her dreams & life plan failed, she was left with nothing. She moved to L.A. & was lucky enough to get a job as a new chef at Knife. Suddenly she makes a mistake & is worried she’s going to be fired by her hot new arrogant jerk of a boss.

 

 

Willow stands up to Cole & challenges him. He soon figures out she’s an extremely talented, creative chef & he respects her opinion. She’s sexy & full of attitude, but it only turns him on more. He wants her desperately but tries to be professional. Soon things are heating up in & out of the kitchen and this couple can’t get enough of each other.

I really enjoyed this book & love J.D. Hawkins writing. Cole Chambers was super sexy & this was a fun, flirty read.
