SYNOPSIS:
UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE…
Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she’s determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn’t realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn’t want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn’t the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she’s not planning to stick around.
As head of ski patrol at his family’s resort, Hud thinks he’s seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he’s been missing far too long. Now he’ll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

Bailey Moore is a 24 yr. old woman who grew up in a small town south of Denver. She works as a graphic designer, but also enjoys painting on the side. Bailey has had a rough time these last few years, & feels like she has a new lease on life. For so long she never had time for anything but survival, but now she has a list of things she wants to do, & she plans to live life to the fullest!
Bailey has been commissioned to paint a mural at a family owned ski resort in Cedar Ridge, Colorado up in the Rockies. This is about two hours away from home, but she figures it’s also the perfect opportunity to learn to ski better & also complete some things on her list. What she doesn’t bargain for is the drop dead gorgeous Hudson Kincaid. Hud is the head of ski patrol at his family’s resort, & also a part time Cedar Ridge cop. He’s very close to his siblings & the person everyone can always count on. He gives so much of himself to the people he cares about. So much that there’s nothing left for himself. Between the resort, his jobs & family, there is little time left for down time or dating.
Hud meets Bailey & they both feel the sparks. There’s something between them, but they decide to keep things casual. Things soon become more complicated when real feelings develop. Hud doesn’t do relationships & Bailey doesn’t let anyone get too close to her, so they both have to come to terms with their feelings. Hud begins to make Bailey feel whole again as they fall hard for one another. They both try to resist, but it’s no use. They are already in over their heads & crazy about each other. I really enjoyed this book & can’t wait for Hud’s twin brother Jacob’s book! Every time I pick up a Jill Shalvis book I know I’m going to just fall in love with the guy & get a fantastic sexy love story that takes me away to a beautiful place & makes me want the next book right away! ;))
