The smell of him, like summer rain and sunshine, hit me, and my arms curled around his hips, my fingers slipping under his shirt and digging into the muscles of his back. He kissed me, owning my lips with lust and passion, and slowly, ever so softly, I went down the rabbit hole with him, where the entire world whispered yes, him.

Give me a good second chance romance story with a drop dead gorgeous British book boyfriend, and I’m as happy as a smitten kitten. Once I read the blurb for Filthy English, I knew that this was going to be my cuppa!! This is my first Ilsa Madden-Mills book and I guarantee you that it won’t be my last. The book was hard to put down and the angst became a bit maddening towards the end but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Remi Montague finds herself in London on her honeymoon, with her Bestie!! Two weeks prior her fiancé got cold feet and called off the wedding. So Remi’s in London licking her wounds and trying to forget about her recent heartbreak. She ends up at a nightclub in London called Masquerade, where everyone must wear decorative masks. While at the bar a gorgeous man sidles up beside her and something about him is sending tingly sparks up her spine. One thing leads to another and they end up kissing. That kiss has her reeling because she’s tasted those lips before and they belong to the one man from her past that annihilated her heart.

Dax Blay has been spending his summer break from college in London, taking care of his cousin who has recently been released from rehab. Dax has the bad boy player reputation at Whitman College, but for the past several months he’s been keeping to himself. When he arrives at Masquerade with his cousin, Spider, it only takes him a few seconds to recognize Remi at the bar. He has never been able to forget the girl he spent seventy-two hours with during their freshman year at college. There was definitely something special between them but at the time Dax wasn’t the type to be in a monogamous relationship, nor did he think he was good enough for Remi. There’s definitely some animosity still left over from that time on Remi’s part as she hasn’t gotten over the heartbreak he caused her. But there will be some seriously hot and torturous foreplay going on between them. I wanted the sex to commence but was teased quite a bit before they finally got down to the schmexy!!!

This story had my insides all twisted up what with all the push and pull action going on between Remi and Dax. Remi thinks Dax is still a player and that if she gives him another chance she won’t be able to survive the heartbreak the second time around. Dax thinks Remi is on the rebound and doesn’t have true feelings for him. He also still believes he’s incapable of giving her what she truly deserves. So can you see how this would drive a reader crazy??!!

There’s a big reveal that rocks these two to their core, and I have to say I kind of guessed what it was early on, and yet I still thoroughly enjoyed this story!! It was definitely easy to swoon over Dax and even though I really didn’t think Remi was a kickass heroine, I still was rooting for them to get it right this time.

Filthy English is a fast paced, angsty, and incredibly steamy read. It felt like no time had passed at all by the time I finished it. Thoroughly enjoyable read! I highly recommend and it’s currently 99 cents on AMAZON US!!

It was selfish of me to ask her to take me the way I was, with only the time I could give, but I wanted her in a way I could never explain, or try to. She had so much strength, so much ability. She was so fiercely independent at times I couldn’t believe she could need anyone at all. But she trusted me, she looked out for me and when we were together I could feel her need for me. She was everything I’d ever wanted and never thought I would find in a woman.

So I happen to really love Kate Stewart to the moon and back. She’s honestly the most genuine and beautiful person inside and out. And she’s so FLIPPING HILARIOUS. I told her that she should try her hand at writing a RomCom and how I just love those and sports themed romances. Wouldn’t you know she already had Anything But Minor in that brilliant and beautiful mind of hers!!!!!

I 100% LOVED THIS BOOK TO PIECES!!!!!!! From beginning to end it was PERFECTION!! Kate has always been one of my favorite authors and is a very gifted and versatile writer, but I truly feel that ROMCOM is her niche!! This book is equivalent to a World Series win for Kate Stewart!! I laughed so hard and fell madly in love with RAFE HEMBRY!!!! Not only did Kate deliver a superb story but she also created one of the most loveable and unforgettable heroines I have come across to date. Alice Boyd was adorably geeky and quite the google search expert. I loved her exuberance and vivaciousness. She was always willing to try something new and I admired her for her courage to just pack up and move to a place where she had not one friend or family member there to support her.

Alice lands a job at Boeing as a flight instructor in Charleston, South Carolina. She’s leaving her hometown and excited to be starting her new life. She decides to go on a little tour of the Downtown area and stumbles upon a flyer for an upcoming Swampgators baseball game. Little did she know that this flyer would change her life forever.

Rafe Hembry is the up and coming star player for the Swampgators. Major League talent scouts have him on their radar. The moment he spots Alice in the stands, he feels an instant attraction and she definitely is awestruck at the sight of Rafe. Alice is quite the klutz and it’s almost a given that she will land herself in an embarrassing situation and oftentimes it happens whenever Rafe is around. The two become fast friends but always with the undercurrent of pure want between them. No matter how hard Rafe tries to seduce her, Alice is fearful that she will be just a passing fancy for him and she’d rather hold on to the friendship they share than to lose him to a moment of lust. But as time passes they both realize that there is something pretty special building between them and neither will be able to deny their attraction any longer.

When Rafe and Alice give in to their burning passion for each other I may have felt myself about to combust from the explosive heat generated between them. Holy Hell, get ready to feel the earth move and bookcases fall!!! And once things start to get serious between them, I was a swooning mess!!

This is a book to be savored and I promise you that the story hooks you in from the beginning and will have you laughing, panting, and maybe even shedding a few tears of joy when all is said and done. It is definitely a book that I will be revisiting quite often.

She just took a job as a flight instructor for the new Boeing plant in Charleston, SC & will head up their flight simulation program. She is super excited to move to a new city & experience new things. While out one evening, Alice decides to attend a baseball game for Charleston’s home team the Swampgators. It’s their first home game & she loves it!

She right away notices the gorgeous pitcher who seems to be looking right in her direction. She soon learns his name is Rafe Hembrey. Rafe has the best stats of any pitcher in the minors, & with his talent, he’s expected to be called to the majors any day now. This is his season to prove himself.

Rafe is a sexy, arrogant athlete/ladies man used to getting what he wants, & he’s decided after meeting this stunning blonde, he has to have her in his bed. It has everything I love in a fabulous book. It has a delicious alpha male, plenty of steamy hotness, & is laugh out loud funny. The perfect summer read! 😀

Laugh out loud and utterly fantastic. Anything But Minor was everything I’ve been craving and much more. Kate Stewart has proven once again that not only is she a talented author, but that she’s also damn funny too!!

This book delivered nothing but a good time! A total home run of a book!!!!

Alice left her hometown behind and has moved to Charleston, South Carolina in search of a new life full of adventure. She grew up with a mother who was very strict and kept Alice sheltered from most things in life. Now Alice is ready to break free, with a wonderful list in hand of new things she wants to try.

From the moment Alice steps down from the airplane, she starts to fall in love with Charleston, and we go along with her. The beautiful setting is so enchanting, it makes you want to hop on a plane, and go visit.

In the spirit of trying new things, Alice finds herself at a local baseball game, where a strange older woman offers her a weekly seat to watch the games of their home team with her. And it is at that ballgame where Alice gets mesmerized by the most beautiful man she’s ever seen; Rafe Hembrey.

This is Rafe’s year, the year he’s been waiting for to sign with a major league team. His stats are better than ever, his career at its’ peak, and everyone knows that sooner or later he’s getting that call. Which is why he can’t afford to get distracted by the bombshell/nerd/ Google obsessed woman he just met at one of his games.

Alice knows Rafe has a reputation of love ’em and leave ’em, and she also knows that he might be leaving Charleston soon. So, after a few friendly dates, and even though the attraction is out of control intense between them, Alice decides she’d rather not lose Rafe’s friendship since she knows all she can get from him is amazing sex. But Rafe has other plans, he wants in Alice’s pants, but every minute he spends with her, makes him realize that he might actually want more.

This story was as sweet and decadent as eating a chocolate cake, but without feeling guilty about the calories. The characters, the hilarious plot, and the setting made a magical combination that will charm the hearts of anybody who reads it.

Rafe was sexy and delicious, but Alice was my most favorite thing about this book. Her character was totally adorable, smart and also very empowering, we need more female characters like her in books.

Anything But Minor is a book that will leave you feeling happy. A book that you would want to share, gift and recommend, because it’s so full of laughs and soul. This book is one item I’ll have on my Christmas list to give to all my friends. I just LOVED it!!!

I had been two men in my life. I was beginning to understand that neither of them were real. They were both the ultimate pretenders. Rider pretended to be a Hangman, but always stood on the outside, looking in. Cain pretended he was a prophet, outwardly faking strength, yet drowning in fear underneath. But if both of these men were a ruse, then who the hell was I? Who was the real me?

The Hades Hangmen series is my fave amongst all of Tillie Cole’s works. It is the reason why I became a blogger last year. I was dying when all of my blogger friends got advanced copies of SOULS UNFRACTURED and I sat on my couch having a little pity party for one because I had to wait like the rest of the non-blogging community. For those of you who haven’t read this series yet, and have plans to read it, skip my review, because I will be mentioning tidbits from the previous books. I will, however, NOT be spoiling this one!! I truly believe you have to go into DEEP REDEMPTION completely blind!!

I have had a love/hate relationship with Rider “aka” Cain since the very first book. I really thought he was a good guy till we found out towards the end of book one that he was Prophet Cain, future leader of THE ORDER, the psychotic cult that tortured and raped poor Mae and her sisters, “aka”The Cursed, along with other girls since they were only eight-years-old. These men are just a bunch of sadistic pedophiles. But in book two we learn that Rider had no knowledge of the raping rituals and he was beyond horrified when he witnesses the debauchery for the first time. He was raised along with his twin brother in seclusion and they spent all of their time learning their scriptures and preparing for the day that Rider would take his place as Prophet Cain, leader of The Order. When he tries to save a child from being raped, he is beaten and thrown in a dirty prison cell. His twin decides to take on his identity and orders daily beatings for Rider until he agrees to accept their ways. This was how it all ended for Rider in book two. He did manage to save Mae and her sisters from being kidnapped as well and that’s how we all ended up believing that there was still a lot of good in Rider and that he just might be worthy of redemption.

So for almost a year, those of us who can’t get enough of this series have been waiting patiently for Rider’s story. We knew it was going to be a really dark and tumultuous road he would be placed on that would lead to the path of redemption. I will say that out of all the four books, this one wasn’t as hard to endure with the dark elements. Rider is the one who suffers the most and I guess it’s what this character has to endure in order to truly be redeemed in the eyes of the faithful readers of this series. His suffering and loneliness broke my heart at times and I just about loved him as much as I loved Flame…well, almost as much anyhow.

I wondered and hypothesized who Rider’s love interest would be. I was happy with the woman who captured his heart and she fell fiercely in love with him as well. She comes into Rider’s life when he is almost at the end of his rope. He’s so disillusioned and beyond shattered by his brother’s betrayal, but when this woman ends up being imprisoned in the cell next to his, they end up bonding through the brief moments that they are able to have conversations through the wall that separates them. This woman was the one with the most strength and courage out of all the heroines in this series so far and truly ends up being Rider’s salvation. I know that we will get more of their story in the future books as we do with all the previous characters with each installment. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if we got another book for each couple as well. I truly believe there is so much more to learn about their lives together. I really enjoyed spending time with all of them and seeing how much they’ve grown as couples and learning of the new joys and sorrows that they face.

DEEP REDEMPTION is packed with huge revelations!! I screamed. I cried. And by the time it was over, I was sad to have to say goodbye for now. I was so engrossed in the story I swear that it felt like it took hardly any time to finish this almost 400-page book!!

5 ~Save Me~ Stars*****

What a beautiful and emotional story. The more I read these books , the more I love them. From the moment I got on the back of the Hades Hangmen motorcycle on that very first book, I haven’t been able to get off. Tillie Cole has given me the ride of a lifetime with this series. I cried, laughed and even cried laughing with this beautiful book. I couldn’t have possibly loved it more.

It is a very challenging task to review this book without giving too much away. So many secrets are revealed in this book, that even mentioning a name could spoil it for the reader.
So, please forgive me for the vague description…

If you have been following this series, like me you’ve had a love/hate relationship with the hero Cain. But in this book, I saw a completely different side of him. His faults were not totally his own, his mistakes were almost made blindly because, in my eyes, this man really didn’t know any better. He grew up being groomed to the be the leader of this terrible cult. He grew up in a twisted world, and to him having these beliefs, and taking part in the cruel practices was the norm. In most of the book Cain spends time locked up in a cell, but even after he comes out, the shackles holding his heart are made out of the deep guilt he carries around, and no matter where he is, freedom is never a possibility.

Harmony is a very beautiful and very brave character. She comes from Puerto Rico, from a different commune, her beauty deemed her a cursed sister of Eve, and Judah has plans to marry her, in order to fulfill their prophecy and keep The Order safe from doomsday. As much as Harmony hates the idea of marrying the prophet, she believes it’s her duty in order to save the people of New Zion. Her courage and determination to carry on with her obligations will falter the moment she meets the man staying in the holding cell next to hers; Cain.

After encouraging and giving each other words of hope, Cain and Harmony form a bond. They can’t see or touch each other, but they feel close to one another. A fierce desire to protect the other, and a love that can mean the salvation of their souls will bloom inside the walls of those darks cells. What will happen once they come face to face for the first time?

Judah is planning a big attack on the Hades of Hangmen MC. His greed and thirst for total domination knows no bounds, and he will prove to be a very powerful adversary for the Hangmen MC.

I loved the excitement and thrill in which all the events developed in this story. I was hooked, biting my nails with every chapter.

Another fascinating book by Tillie Cole, where she makes us fall in love with a beautiful character that I once used to hate. This explosive series keeps getting better and better, never a dull moment, and never the same. I am totally addicted!

Sweet, nutty and very delicious, are the words that come to mind when trying to describe this book. Like a delectable slice of Camembert cheese, Cream Of The Crop will melt your heart, and maybe even your underpants with a tasty combination of characters, a super fun plot and the highly entertaining signature writing style of Alice Clayton. The Hudson Valley series keeps getting better and better!!!

Natalie Grayson is a marketing executive in New York City. She is a size eighteen bombshell who can drive any man crazy with just one sultry look. The second installment of the Hudson Valley series is destined to be another sure fire hit!! There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Alice Clayton’s writing is ABSOLUTE GOLD!!CREAM OF THE CROP has a beautiful and sassy Heroine who will steal your heart and a sinfully sexy Hero who will leave you swooning and panting for more!! The other character that I must give honorable mention to is the town of Bailey Falls. Alice Clayton’s vivid description of the very scenic and quaint town brings it to life for the reader. All I want to do is plan a weekend getaway to this charming little town and take in the local flavor.

From the moment that we are introduced to Natalie Grayson, I literally fell head over heels in love with this character. This woman is not a waif by any means. She is a woman with CURVES and she is proud of her size eighteen figure. She wears her confidence well!! Strutting her stuff down the city streets of Manhattan, Natalie turns more than a head or two. If she sees a guy that tickles her fancy, it takes only a little wiggle of her behind and the bat of her eyelashes to have him eating out of the palm of her hand. I just really loved the fact that she was so comfortable in her own skin and she rocked at being a super sexy and funny Heroine. She wasn’t always this well put together woman that she is now and we learn about her emotional past as we get deeper into the story. There is just one thing that is kryptonite to her fabulousness and it comes in the form of a beautiful six foot five hunk of man who is a dairy farmer from Bailey Falls – Oscar Mendoza!!! Natalie’s Saturday morning ritual is to stop by the local farmer’s market and get her Brie fix from this beautiful man who makes her tongue tied and giddy as a lovesick teenaged girl!! I must say that I developed the same swoony feelings for this hunky farmer.

During a department meeting, she learns that one of their new potential clients happens to be the township of Bailey Falls. They’re looking to revive tourism in their area. Her first encounter with Oscar on Leo Maxwell’s farm doesn’t go as smoothly as planned since as I stated earlier, he is her kryptonite and disastrously funny things happen to our poor heroine. But Natalie will get her swagger back and holy smokes was my tongue ever wagging and I may have even felt a little lightheaded from the serious heat that these two generated!!! They wasted no time getting down and dirty in the back of Oscar’s barn and damn this man could lift this woman and hold her in all kinds of positions as if she were a tiny little thing. Oh, the pictures I had in my head!!!!

As things start to heat up between Oscar and Natalie, there will be a few challenges that they’ll be forced to deal with. Oscar loves life on his farm in the country. Although Natalie dreams of settling down someday in the country with her hot farmer, her career is at its peak and she’s not ready to leave her fabulous life in New York City yet. So how will these two be able to make things work when their lives are deeply rooted in two completely different worlds?!

So far I would have to say that Cream of the Crop is my favorite in the Hudson Valley series and even though I did enjoy NUTS, I think I just felt such a deeper connection to Natalie and wished that she and I could be BFFs!! And Oscar just made me melt into a pool of desire the second he walked onto the pages of this story! I wanted to live the lives of these amazing characters, and maybe just for a short while my imagination allowed me to do so!

CREAM OF THE CROP is available now. I seriously recommend that you get to this one as soon as possible because you’re sure to fall in love with this story!!

Sophie still see’s so much good in Jude & treats him like he matters, but Jude doesn’t feel he deserves her. She won’t give up on him, & eventually seeing himself through Sophie’s eyes, Jude begins to have hope for the future.

This story was another fabulous book in this series. It was about forbidden romance & second chances. I adore Jude & was glad to see him get his happy ending. There are a lot of twists and turns & revelations in this book. I really enjoyed it & can’t wait for Zach’s book!

This was a beautiful novel about the healing powers of love and about believing in second chances. The main character Jude is a drug addict trying to re-build his life after a terrible tragedy. The subject matter of this book is very sensitive, one that if not done right can turn a story into something very dark and heavy. I feel like this author did a lot of research about it, and handled it delicately, adding depth and beauty to the story. Very well done!

We met Jude Nickel when he was working at the Shipley’s apple farm in Bittersweet. Having finished his seasonal work there now is time for him to go back home. A place that brings nothing but anxiety to him. Jude has been gone for three years, everything about his hometown is familiar, every corner full of memories that haunt him. Jude’s addiction landed him in jail, and being a felon doesn’t leave him with much choice, than to go back home and work for his dad. Jude’s mission; to stay away from drugs and Sophie.

Jude and Sophie were in love. Their relationship meant everything to both of them, but a terrible tragedy got in the way of their love, and now there is nothing but pain and regret between them. After everything went down Jude was sentenced to jail, and Sophie had to quit on all her dreams to stay home and take care her of her mother. But now that Jude is back in town, it will be a real challenge for her to live her life, knowing that the boy she’s always loved is only a few blocks away.

When Jude and Sophie come face to face, the pain and the love is equally strong. What feeling will they allow to conquer?

Will love be able to heal two broken hearts, and bring them hope for a better future, or is it too late for them?

This was not an easy story to read, Jude’s struggles become your own as you learn about his past, present and future. I loved Jude’s resilience, and I loved how much Sophie believed in him. Steadfast delivers a powerful message about letting go of the guilt and accepting hope for the future. This author takes us on a beautiful journey that will make a lasting impression on our hearts. I’m excited to discover more from this series.

I lived for Wednesdays and Thursdays. Pathetic as that was, a weekly glimpse of Sophie (along with some quality time with the Shipleys) kept me sane.

STEADFAST is the second installment in the True Northseries and I will say that I enjoyed this one a little more than I did BITTERSWEET. It definitely was very slow moving for about the first 25% of the story, which for me is entirely too long but I did end up getting into it once the pace picked up and there were some nail-biting moments to spice things up a bit!! If you haven’t read “BITTERSWEET”, I do believe that you can still read this as a standalone but it does help to get a little of Jude’s background from the first book, and also the Shipley family are major secondary characters in this one as well.

I was having second thoughts about reading this book because I wasn’t a huge fan of the first one and I also do not like anything drug related in my stories. They tend to make the story too depressing for me and that definitely did take place in STEADFAST. Jude is back in his hometown, living above his father’s garage. Everywhere he looks, his past is there to haunt him. The one thing from his past that brings the most pain to him is all linked to his ex-girlfriend, Sophie. She was the only person in his life who truly loved and cared for him, and is now lost to him forever. Or is she?? He was sent to prison for three years for involuntary manslaughter. Jude was reported to have been high and driving his car when it ended up careening off the road and killing his passenger, who happened to be Sophie’s older brother. So now he’s back home, working in his father’s garage. He barely has a relationship with his alcoholic father. There is no one he can call “friend” as everyone he used to know, except for Sophie, were all the people he used to either score drugs from or get high with. He’s being consistently harassed by the local police since he is known as the one who killed the police chief’s son. And to add to all his troubles, he has to fight his drug cravings on a daily basis. I really did love Jude for the determination he had to stay clean.

Jude goes to a drug counseling group session every Wednesday at his local church. He is befriended by the priest and asked if he would volunteer at their soup kitchen. Since Jude doesn’t mind busy work because it keeps his thoughts off of drugs, he agrees to help out. It is there that he comes face to face with his true love, Sophie.

During the three years that they were apart, Sophie never moved on. She had tried to reach out to Jude while he was in prison but he refused to see her and sent back her letters. Sophie was completely crushed and left in the dark. No one would tell her what exactly happened the night of the accident. Her brother’s death wrecked her family. Sophie’s mother became a basket case and relies heavily on her to take care of everything at home. Her father is a royal douchebag who mentally and even sometimes physically abuses poor Sophie.

I really struggled with this book because it was just so very depressing and my heart hurt for both Sophie and Jude. They were only able to have short moments of happiness when they met up at Jude’s garage apartment on Wednesday nights. Thursday night dinner at the Shipley’s was also another highlight for them. I did happen to love the twist at the end and ultimately was happy with how it all ends.

Whatever this was, wherever it took me, I wasn’t going to hold back. I was all in, to whatever end we found ourselves in. Feeling that was staggering. Accepting it was freeing. But living it was redefining.

I love Sports themed romances and Nicole Williams has written one of my all-time favorite series in this genre –CRASH!! It had a beautiful book boyfriend and some seriously gut-wrenching angst…I don’t even know how I survived reading that series. So when I saw that she had written a romance involving an MLB player, well I couldn’t wait to read it!!

Allie Eden is the newest physical trainer for the San Diego Shock. She has had to deal with a lot of smack talk about how she landed that coveted job. Allie takes her profession very seriously and has little to no time for romance. It has cost her several relationships. When the hottest and most gifted player on the team, Luke Archer, starts flirting with her out of the blue, she finds it hard to keep her cool composure.

Luke ends up getting slightly injured during one of the Shock’s games and he wants Allie to be the one in charge of his recovery. He comes on pretty strong and Allie is no match for Luke’s seductive prowess. Now, although I thoroughly enjoyed the steamy times, I wasn’t happy with how these two just dived into the sex without any proper wooing preceding it. And then I wondered why Luke was so insistent on using a condom their first time but didn’t bother or seem to care about using one the second time they got down and dirty. All of my issues were cleared up just before the second half of the story.

Allie has had her heart broken in the past and although Luke seems like the perfect guy, she can’t help it when the tiny voice in her head tells her that what they have is probably just all about the sex and will have a fast-approaching expiration date. Even when Luke opens up to her and has all of his younger sisters meet her, she lets doubt set in which threatens to end the best thing that has ever happened to either of them.

I couldn’t help but fall for Luke. The guy was seriously cocky but had the biggest heart. You can’t help but swoon over him even more once you learn about his tragic past and how he adores and cares for his little sisters. But could Luke’s past come back to bite him and possibly tear this couple apart before they even have a chance to get started? The angst in this book was killer, but since I happen to crave angst, it only made me love this story even more!!

Sexy and very charming!!!! Next To You is a book designed to keep you warm and cozy. An excellent weekend read that I’m sure I’ll re-read more than once in the future. I wanted to play sweaty rugby with Lee, and dance, and drink green smoothies with Sage, forever…

Lee is super-model handsome, but he is also sweet and charming. His passion is to play Rugby which he does, but due to his age, he’s missed his chance to play professionally. He supplements his income by bartending and modeling. Not that he needs to, coming from a wealthy family, but Lee wants to make a life for his own, and not live in the shadow of his strange father.

Sage is Lee’s neighbor and best friend. The two of them always have the best time together. They hang out, and care for each other but both are a little afraid to acknowledge their deep attraction because they are scared it will ruin the friendship.

Lee had an injury while snowboarding and Sage is more than happy to look after him while he is recuperating. Having Sage so close to him every day is making Lee re-think everything about his relationship with his best friend, and now he has the perfect plan to try to take things to the next level.

Will Lee’s plan work and bring him and Sage together? Or will it fizzle and ruin everything?

Looking back at all the reviews I’ve ever written for a Daisy Prescott book, I have compared her writing to chocolate cake and Disney world rides, noticed? Always fun and decadent. But the truth is that reading her books always bring me immense joy, like seeing a long lost best friend, that you don’t always see but every time you get together, you laugh and enjoy, like no time has passed at all.

I encourage you to read this book or any Daisy Prescott book. If you are looking for quality romance writing style and a genuinely good time. THIS IS IT!!!!

I’m going to be honest and say that I didn’t pay close attention to the blurb for this one. From the moment I saw the cover, I was in love!! I desperately wanted to get my hands on this book because I really am a nut for sports themed romances, but this turned out to be so much more. It was a steamy erotic thriller that had me on the edge of my seat near the end!! The beginning seemed to be a little odd for my taste, but once the Hero and Heroine come face to face in the Yankees locker room, I was a goner.

Chase Stern is the hottest baseball player in the MLB and his dream is to get signed on with the Yankees. He’s got a serious bad boy reputation but his stats in the game of baseball are beyond stellar. Eventually, the Yankees come calling on him. This is music to one young woman’s ears. Ty is the seventeen-year-old daughter to Yankees pitcher, Frank Rollins. Since the death of her mother when she was a young girl, Ty has become a permanent fixture with the Yankee franchise. Ty works part time as a bat girl and all around gopher for the guys on the team. Her love of the game and for the Yankees runs deep in her blood. She knows that Chase can bring a long overdue World Series win for her beloved team. Ty also may be harboring a little crush on Chase, which her father is none too happy about.

Knowing that her father is concerned about the possibility of Chase coming on to her, Ty tries to keep her distance, but these two end up having a very hot first encounter and no matter how hard they try, they’ll find it impossible to stay away from each other. Chase has never had deep feelings for a woman but something about Ty calls to him and soon she ends up owning his heart. The two sneak around in order to spend time with each other and agree to take things slow due to Ty’s age but every base they reach together had me panting for more!! All the while I had a sneaking suspicion that something was about to tear this couple apart and I felt like pulling my hair out when I turned out to be right!!

They end up going their separate ways and my heart felt as if it were being ripped out and stomped on. Four years later, fate will reunite them when Chase returns to the Yankees, but Ty isn’t free to run back into his arms. The years apart has not helped either get over the love they have for each other, if anything it all comes rushing back and then some, the moment they come face to face again. When they are finally able to give in to their passion there is no way that that Ty can go back to living the lie that she had been for so long.

This is an angst-filled, fast-paced and steamy thriller that will have you on the edge of your seats! You will be trying to solve the mystery but I’d be amazed if anyone figures this one out until the big reveal. I thought I had the answers but the joke was on me by the time we find out the truth! A very entertaining and sexy read! I highly recommend it!!!

For me, everything about our life, from the long hours, to the hell of a schedule, to the sweat and smells of the locker room…it was all magic. I couldn’t imagine ever walking away from it.

Tyler Rollins is a girl from Pittsburgh. When she was seven her mom passed away & she went to be with her dad. Her dad is Frank Rollins, a baseball legend. She joins him on the road & begins traveling with the team. The team became her family & she grew to love baseball. She is now the ball girl for the NY Yankees where her father is their closer. The Yankee stadium & baseball is home to her. She lives & breathes it & it’s in her soul.

Ty’s baseball idol is the gorgeous bad boy of baseball Chase Stern. He’s five years older than her, but she thinks he’s perfection when it comes to looks & baseball. He is considered one of the best & has dominated the baseball world. When he yet again finds himself in trouble, Chase is traded to the Yankees. He’s headed to the team he’s dreamed about playing for his whole life. Since he was a kid, he’s wanted to be a Yankee & wear their stripes. He has a run in with Ty when he arrives, & is instantly attracted to her. He soon learns she’s his teammates 17 yr. old daughter who is off limits to him. He knows he needs to focus on his game, stay out of trouble, & try to steer clear of Ty, but it’s easier said than done. He’s drawn to the beautiful blonde beauty & can’t get her off his mind.

-He didn’t know what it was about her. How she managed to get under his skin.

-Nothing would ever, after that moment, compare.

-A woman shouldn’t be created in such heartbreakingly beautiful combinations. A woman shouldn’t, in fifteen minutes, have the ability to ruin him for life.

Chase & Ty get to know each other better & as feelings develop, Ty realizes there is so much more to Chase than just talent & ego. He’s gentle & loving and treats her like she’s truly something special. Some drama happens & they are separated for some time. This was a fantastic story about baseball & forbidden love. Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants & nothing can stand in the way of true love.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

She’s paraded around almost every night & Logan is completely intrigued by her. She’s an enigma & has been consuming his thoughts since he first saw her. He has this irresistible need to have her & make her his.

-But it was his eyes. They simply spoke to me.

-He looked at me in such a way as no other man ever has.

-I’m terrified of the way he makes me feel.

-There is a connection there that I’ve never experienced with another human being in my life.

When they finally come together they are incredible together. It’s just as intense as they both thought it would be. They share a strong connection & their chemistry is insane. The problem is Auralie is in over her head & in a bad situation. She’s trying to survive the only way she knows how. As Logan and Auralie’s bond grows, he wants to protect her & care for her. This couple has a lot of obstacles to overcome & they have to decide if they can put their trust in one another. This was another super hot fantastic book in this series & was my favorite so far. Can’t wait for Bridger’s book up next!!! 😀
