REVIEW – THE MAD LIEUTENANT (The Lost Planet, #3) by K. Webster & Nicole Blanchard

Her voice brought me back from the darkness, but I don’t want the sweet relief she promises. Unlike the rest of the morts on my planet, I don’t want a mate. Especially not her.

She’s loud, boisterous, and doesn’t take no for an answer.

Unlike the rest of the alien females my brothers have woken from cryosleep, Molly doesn’t find my growls intimidating. The more I try to ignore her, the more she tries to befriend me.

I’d been taken captive once by the virus that nearly killed me. I bear its scars, not only on my body, but in my thoughts. No woman, not even one as beautiful as Molly, can heal me.

I don’t want her, but she needs me.

Her laughter forever chases away any lingering darkness. She is my light, my mate, my future, my love. Mine.

”The Lost Planet” series is wildly entertaining and I’m thoroughly addicted!! In ”THE MAD LIEUTENANT” the third female awakens and it is the damaged and mentally tormented Draven who she clings to for comfort. Molly and Draven are kindred spirits and they seem to inherently know how to calm each other. Once Molly is made aware that the Morts plan to mate with her and the other females, she makes it very clear that she will choose the one to mate with.

Molly is a sweet southern belle with a feisty side. She’s tougher than Aria and Emery. She’s also brave and adventurous. Once the connection between Draven and Molly deepens, there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do to keep her lover safe. Unlike her fellow humans, she remembers everything from the past. Molly knows why she ended up on that ship in those cryo tubes with the other females.

In this latest installment, we get a lot of answers to some of our burning questions along with some new shocking revelations. I’m pretty sure the next installment will be my least favorite since it involves mm, but I love this series enough to endure it.

Here are my overall ratings:
