Today we have the blog tour for the much anticipated novel, SUIT, by BB Easton! Check it out and grab your copy now!

Title: SUIT
Series: 44 Chapters
Author: BB Easton
Release: October 18

About SUIT

Because BB Easton had so much fun writing her bestselling, award-winning memoir, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN, she decided to give each of her four men his own steamy standalone. SUIT is Ken’s book—the hilarious, heartwarming tale of how BB finally got over her bad boy phase and found happily ever after with…gasp…a guy in a tie.

“Since when are you into guys in ties? You only like guys who look like they rob guys in ties. At gunpoint.”

It was true. By 2003, my type had been well-established. There might as well have been a giant sign on my heart that said, “Good Guys Need Not Apply.”

Which is exactly why I had to friendzone Ken Easton. The man was a former football star, smelled like fresh laundry instead of stale cigarettes, and had more ties in his closet than tattoos on his knuckles. Pssh. BOR-ING.

But the more I got to know my hunky study buddy, the more questions I came away with. Questions like, why doesn’t he date? Why does he avoid human touch? Why does he hate all things fun and wonderful? The psychology student in me became obsessed with getting inside Ken’s head, while the spoiled brat in me became obsessed with getting inside his heart.

In 2003, I found the one thing I love more than bad boys…

A good challenge.

*SUIT is Book 4 in the 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN spin-off series, but it can be read as a complete standalone.

EXCERPT

“I like your red door,” I mused as Ken stuck his key into the deadbolt. “What does that symbolize? Aren’t red doors supposed to like, protect you from evil spirits or something?”

Ken chuckled as he pushed the door open. “I wondered the same thing, so I looked it up.” Holding the door open for me, he said, “In Scotland it means your mortgage is paid off.”

I giggled as I stepped inside, wondering who the fuck was paying this mortgage, when Ken flipped on the lights.

The interior was immaculate. Tasteful. And devoid of a single personal memento or photograph.

Oh my God, this isn’t even a private residence! It’s a model home! Ken tricked me! This must be where he brings all his victims!

The front door opened into a sparely decorated living room, painted a cozy shade of sage green. A staircase leading to the second floor was on the right side of the expanse. A stately, stacked-stone fireplace took up most of the left wall. And on the back wall a plush, camel-brown suede couch was flanked by two wide entryways, one into the kitchen and another into the dining room.

The light fixtures were steel. The coffee table was wooden. And the art above the couch was an eclectic collection of watercolor paintings and pen-and-ink sketches, mostly of the Eiffel Tower.

No, seriously. Who the fuck lives here??

“I…uh…love the color.” I stammered, taking it all in.

“Thanks.” Ken shut the door behind us, causing me to jump. “I did all the painting, but my dad helped me with the crown molding.”

I knew it!

“Oh, does he live here, too?” I unzipped my coat and wandered over to admire the wall of Eiffel Towers.

“No, but my sister does. She rents the master bedroom from me.”

So, a woman lives here. That explains all the Parisian art.

“That’s cool. Did she help you decorate?” I asked, focusing on one particularly good watercolor of Notre Dame cathedral after a rain shower. The wet sidewalks looked like mirrors.

“No. She just moved in a few weeks ago.”

“Really?” I turned toward Ken with my mouth hanging open and my jacket half-on and half-off. “So you bought this place and painted it and decorated it…by yourself? It’s so…” Domestic. Perfect. Empty. “…beautiful.”

Ken smiled shyly. Holding his black wool coat in one hand, he extending the other to take my jacket. I shrugged it the rest of the way off and gave it to him.

“Where did these paintings come from?” I asked as he walked over to a coat closet tucked beneath the stairs.

“I got those in Paris.” He answered, placing my jacket on a wooden coat hanger. “There are these street artists there who just sit on the corner drawing and painting famous landmarks all day. Their work is amazing…” Ken closed the closet door and turned toward me with a smile. “…and it’s really fucking cheap.”

A strange sense of déjà vu fell over me as I held his gaze. Only instead of feeling as though I was glimpsing into the past, I felt as if I were glimpsing into the future. Ken hadn’t decorated that house for himself—he’d decorated it for me. It didn’t make sense, but I felt it. I knew it. My soul saw that house and said home. My heart saw those paintings and said home. But when my eyes beheld that introverted, intelligent, handsome, gainfully employed, responsible, tattoo-free man they said home? with a very distinct question mark at the end.

Ken wasn’t my type, but perhaps my type was ready for an upgrade.

“How old are you?” I asked, watching him cross the room and sit on the couch.

“Twenty-three.” Ken kept his eyes on the channel guide on his big screen TV. “Have you seen About a Boy? It’s finally on HBO.”

I shook my head. Both in response to his question and in disbelief that he was so young to be so damn grown.

“You haven’t? It’s so fucking good.” Ken selected the movie and placed the remote on the coffee table. “Hugh Grant’s my favorite actor.”

I snorted.

“What?” Ken gave me the side eye.

“Hugh Grant isn’t anybody’s favorite actor.”

Ken laughed and turned to face me, doing a worse job at hiding his smile than usual. “I thought that too, until one day I realized I like every movie Hugh Grant has ever been in. Even Small Time Crooks, and I fucking hate Woody Allen. So I was like, Holy shit. I think Hugh Grant’s my favorite actor.”

Ken smile was infectious.

“You’re telling me you liked Bridget Jones’s Diary?” I teased.

“Yep.”

Two Weeks Notice?”

Ken nodded.

Notting Hill?”

“Are you kidding? Notting Hill is the best one. We’re watching it after this. I mean…” Ken’s eyes darted around the room as he cleared his throat. “If you want to.”

I smiled, basking in the unexpected cuteness that was Ken Easton. Desperate to soothe his sudden nerves and charmed by his adorable love of British romantic comedies, I leaned forward and planted a chaste kiss on Ken’s chiseled mouth.

The moment our lips touched Ken froze, along with the very breath in my lungs, as I waited an awkward amount of time for him to kiss me back.

One Mississippi…two Mississippi…

Pulling away with my ego smashed and my cheeks ablaze, I dropped my eyes to avoid facing Ken’s rejection. As I stared at the ripped knees in my jeans and tried to come up with an airtight excuse for why I had to leave, Ken turned off the lamp next to the couch and started the movie. The gesture was subtle, but thanks to my downcast stare I definitely caught a glimpse of him adjusting the crotch of his slacks once the lights were out.

I bit the insides of my cheeks to keep from smiling.

Maybe I’ll stay…just a little longer.

LIVE – ROYALLY YOURS (Royally #4) by Emma Chase

Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.

It’s a big deal.

When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.

What she isn’t…is married.

It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.

Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.

Even Queens. Especially them.

**

Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.

And a sacred promise keeps him there.

To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.

**

Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.

Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.

This is theirs.

BLOG TOUR – FALL (VIP #3) by Kristen Callihan

The first time I met Jax Blackwood things went a little sideways.

In my defense, I didn’t know he was Jax Blackwood—who expects a legendary rock star to be shopping for groceries? More importantly, a blizzard was coming and he was about to grab the last carton of mint-chocolate chip.

Still, I might have walked away, but then he smugly dared me to try and take the coveted ice cream. So I kissed him. And distracted that mint-chip right out of his hands.

Okay, it was a dirty move, but desperate times and all that. Besides, I never expected he’d be my new neighbor.

An annoying neighbor who takes great pleasure in reminding me that I owe him ice cream but would happily accept more kisses as payment. An irresistible neighbor who keeps me up while playing guitar naked–spectacularly naked–in his living room.

Clearly, avoidance is key. Except nothing about Jax is easy to ignore—not the way he makes me laugh, or that his particular brand of darkness matches mine, or how one look from him melts me faster than butter under a hot sun.

Neither of us believes in love or forever. Yet we’re quickly becoming each other’s addiction. But we could be more. We could be everything.

All we have to do is trust enough to fall.

The air between us shifts. I’m filled with a strange giddiness, wanting to laugh for the fun of it, but I’m also too warm, my limbs oddly heavy as if simple movements might be too much for me.

His tone turns soft and cajoling, teasing the truth out of me. “Are you going to tell me what you do?” When I say nothing, the corners of his eyes crinkle. “I see. You’re going to torture me a bit.”

The warm, fuzzy feeling grows as I shrug. “Torture feels apropos in this scenario.”

He hums again, taking another step toward me. “What makes you think I won’t like being tortured by you?”

The heat of his body and the scent of his skin makes my head light and my pulse pound. How did it get to this point where the highlight of my day is flirting with Jax Blackwood? Despite the thrill, I know I’m in over my head. I haven’t gone out on a date in months because I form attachments, I get emotional, and then I hurt when they inevitably leave. And this man will leave. He is as bright and fleeting as a camera flash. I’ll be left with the image of him seared into my memory and nothing more.

I tell myself all of this, the voice in my head as stern as possible. But it doesn’t make me back away. It doesn’t stop my body from somehow straining toward his without even moving. Because it might be stupid of me, but I want to feel something that isn’t planned. Something, for however briefly, that’s real.

He’s too attuned to me not to notice. John’s lids lower as his attention slides down my body before easing back up to my face. Slowly, he rests his forearm on the wall beside my head. “Tell me, Stella,” he murmurs.

“No,” I whisper back, flirting, even though I shouldn’t.

His biceps bunch as he leans in, a smile dancing on his lips. “Tell.”

My breasts graze his chest, and I feel it in my toes.

“You’re crowding me.” I hate how breathy I sound.

“Can’t help it.” His voice is a rumble, the heat of his breath playing over my skin. He ducks his head, drawing close until our lips nearly brush, and when he speaks again, his tone is almost conversational, except for the husky quality that touches deep within my core. “You smell like strawberries. Fucking delicious.”

My lids flutter, and I swallow hard. “Ordinarily, I’d call you out on that cliché but since I’ve been eating strawberries, you aren’t exactly wrong.”

His chuckle is slow and easy, as he eases back and his gaze slowly travels over my face. “Were they sweet, Stella Button?”

He’s looking at my mouth like he might try to find out. My lips tremble in response, and John tracks the movement, his breathing getting deeper, faster. “You have two freckles on your lips. One on the top lip and one on the bottom corner.”

Those damn freckles. They were the bane of my adolescence. I hid them with lipstick and silently cursed whenever someone mentioned them.

Freckles don’t have any feelings, but I swear it’s as if he’s touching them.

“You’re just noticing this?” I try to make it sound like a joke, but it comes out weak and thready.

His own lips quirk. “Oh, I noticed. It’s distracting as hell. They’re like two little dots of butter toffee. Makes me want to lick them, get a taste.”

Oh, God. Lick them, please. I can almost feel it. I want to feel it.

No. Bad Stella. Behave.

John’s lips part a fraction like he just might take that taste.

“Back off,” I whisper. And yet somehow my traitorous hands find their way to his sides, running over the waistband of his jeans, holding him there.

John makes a sound deep in his throat and tilts his hips, pressing them against mine. A distinctly thick bulge nudges my belly. Both of us lose a breath, and then he’s closer, his cheek touching my temple. “You’ll have to let me go first.”

My thumbs slide under the edge of his shirt and find smooth, taut skin. A tremor goes through his body. I try to think, search for what the hell we’ve been talking about.

His lips brush the crest of my cheek as he murmurs against my skin. “Tell me what you do, Stella. You know you want to.”

My smile feels illicit. Somehow the action is directly tied to all my happy parts, making them draw hot and tight. “I don’t think I do.”

Another hum. “Liar. You’re dying to.”

Neither of us believes in love or forever. Yet we’re quickly becoming each other’s addiction. But we could be more. We could be everything. All we have to do is trust enough to fall.

British Heroes are my favorite and to have that hero also be a hot rock god, well that’s just a special cherry on top of an already delicious cake! The VIP series is by far my most favorite series about a famous rock band. Kristen Callihan has been one of my idols for quite some time and it’s almost agonizing having to wait for one of her books to release. I knew going into this story, that it was not going to be as light-hearted as the past two books. Jax is a broken hero, whose suicide attempt nearly broke up the band for good. He battles inner demons almost on a daily basis and his self-loathing only fans the flames, but a fiery little redhead that he has a run in with over a carton of mint chocolate ice cream is about to turn his world upside down.

Stella was Jax’s true soul mate. They may have come from two completely different worlds but they were two halves of a whole. She was the one person in his life who didn’t blame or punish him for his debilitating depression. Jax had never had someone to truly lean on until he met Stella. And Stella found it easy to relate to him because not once in her life has she ever felt like she could love or be loved by anyone. She’s a vivacious woman who has many acquaintances due to her profession but not a single person who she can truly call a friend.

Be forewarned, there is some serious angst to deal with in this story and Jax will act like a complete idiot at times, but he’ll be hard not to fall in love with. I completely melted the moment he called Stella by the pet name, ”Button”. Those Brits sure know how to make a girl swoon!

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 4.5
Heroine: 4.5
Plot: 4
Angst: 4.5
Steam: 4.5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 5

I clear my throat. “While I was eating my ice cream—”

He snorts, but remains tense.

“I thought about how you looked familiar to me.”

“It was the guilt haunting you.”

“Or … And I’m just throwing this out there. You’re Jax Blackwood.”

He actually flinches. “Fuck. You recognized me.”

“It was bound to happen. John? Really?”

His chin tips in a pugnacious angle. “It’s my name. John is … me. Jax is who I am onstage.”

I picture him performing, all electric energy and raw passion and sheer talent. It’s a sight to behold. Hell, a couple of really hot fantasies have been induced by that sight.

While I’m lost in a teen fantasy, his eyes dart around like he’s expecting someone to pop out from behind a snow mound and take his picture. Then his gaze snags on me. My expression must be slightly punch drunk, because his entire body leans away from mine. Not exactly flattering to realize he’s afraid I’ll try to lick his face or something.

I snap my gaping mouth closed. “Oh, calm down. It’s not like I’m going to start squealing and try to grab your junk.”

His expression lightens a little. “I think if you grabbed my junk, I’d be the one squealing.”

“True. I have surprisingly strong hands.” When he stares at me in horror, I hold them up and wiggle my fingers. “Yoga. It’s highly effective.”

“My balls just flinched in terror.”

“Consider yourself warned.”

He snorts but then glances at our building. “You really live here?”

“Do you really think I hunted you down?”

John—because I can’t seem to think of him as Jax—runs his hand through his damp hair, which makes his biceps bunch and twitch. “Yeah … that does sound crazy.”

Crazy. This whole situation is. One day, I’m offered a four-month home in a dream condo, the next I’m standing on my stoop talking to a rock star. The biggest legend of my generation. I honestly don’t know how I’m not stammering right now.

“I can’t believe we’re neighbors,” I say without thinking.

His green eyes glint in the afternoon light, but he pauses and looks at me more closely. “You know, not to sound conceited here, but you’re kind of leering at me right now.”

My chin snaps up like I’ve been hit, even as my body flushes with embarrassment. Shit. I totally had been leering. No, not leering. But I had been staring at him in awe. Ugh. “Well, you do sound conceited. I was simply making polite eye contact.”

Liar McLiar-Face.

BLOG TOUR – LONG LIVE THE BEAUTIFUL HEARTS (Beautiful Hearts, #2)

Never again would I allow my heart to become the plaything of someone else.
Never again would I let a man (or men) come between me and my goals.
Never again would I love without feeling the fullness of that love in return.
Not until I knew it was real. And if that took me a lifetime to find, so be it.

Those were my vows, and after all that had happened with Connor and Weston, I was determined to keep them. To protect my heart.
And then he came home, and my vows became his promises.

He held my heart in his hands with reverence and care.
He helped me find my soul’s greatest purpose in life.
He loved me with a love so pure and vibrant, I knew I’d never feel anything like it in a hundred lifetimes.
It was real.

Until it wasn’t.
Until it all came crashing down when I discovered the deep love I thought I’d found was nestled in a web of lies—so soft and silken I hadn’t noticed it was there.
Until it was too late.

I fell for Connor Drake. I didn’t want to; I fought against it, but I fell in love with him anyway. With his words. With his poetry. With him. The gentleness and beauty of his soul that speaks directly to mine. He writes as if he can feel my heart, hear its cadence and compose the exact right lyrics to accompany every beat and flow.

I’m in love with Connor…so why do I feel an inexplicable pull to his best friend, Weston? Grouchy, sullen, brooding Weston Turner, who could cut you down with a look. Fiercely intelligent with a razor sharp wit and acid tongue, he’s the exact opposite of Connor in every way, and yet there’s electricity in the air between us. The thorny barbs Weston wraps around himself can’t keep me away.

But the more time I spend with these men, the more tangled and confused my emotions become. When they both sign up for the Army Reserves during a time of increasing strife in the Middle East, I fear I’ll never unravel my own heart that sometimes feels as if it will tear straight down the middle…for both of them.

*****Dee’s Review*****

FIVE +++++EXTRAORDINARY STARS*****

In all my years reading, and reviewing I never found myself speechless, like I am now. How can I possibly find words that can explain or even do justice to such a powerful story? Nothing I say could, nothing anyone says ever, could explain the beauty that is this book. The Beautiful Hearts Duet is simply transcendent.

Emma Scott has always had the power to make the reader feel her words, she transports you to the heart of the story, it’s something almost unbelievable. With this book it was more than that, I felt like she was holding my beating heart in her hands, and I was holding hers.

When I was reading the first book of this duet, I thought for a minute there that it was a love triangle, but understood better, and I assure you, it is not. This story is about love, family, and friendship. It’s about accepting, and loving others and ourselves, for who we really are. It’s about learning to forgive and to think about ways to be of help to those around us. Reading this book makes me want to be courageous and strong like Weston, kind and sweet like Autumn, bright like Connor, and even cheerful like Ruby. Every character in this story has a trait that I want to mimic, and ultimately why I won’t be able to ever forget any of them.

I know this was not an easy book to write for Emma, and I can’t, and won’t be able to ever thank her enough for giving the world the gift, of what this book is. I live for beauty like this, inside this ugly world we all live in. And reading her words, feeling them, makes me want to be, and do better. THANK YOU! ❤ ❤

“She’s a miracle, actually. Every day with her is my best day.”

Long live the beautiful hearts
Like yours
That beat with infinite depth
Canyons of forgiveness
Cathedrals of beauty and love
Their doors wide open
A haven to weary runners
Whose race has ended.

BEAUTIFUL. EXQUISITE. LITERARY PERFECTION!! I am not in the least surprised by how much I fell in love with this story and how Emma Scott’s writing deeply affects my soul in the best of ways. The ”Beautiful Hearts Duet” is hands down, my favorite by this author. This is why my love of reading will never falter and why I put Emma Scott upon the highest pedestal that only a select few authors can reach.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t absolutely love about this story. It was heartfelt, poignant, and in the end, filled with such immense hope. It made me realize how truly small my way of thinking of what true happiness really is. I loved ALL the characters! Each and every character made this book for me.

I’m not going to delve into the plot. I will tell you this is going to be on many readers ”Best of 2018” shelves!!

LIVE – SUIT (44 Chapters, #4) by B.B. Easton

The much anticipated novel, SUIT, by BB Easton is finally live! Check it out and grab your copy today!

LIVE – LONG LIVE THE BEAUTIFUL HEARTS (Beautiful Hearts, #2) by Emma Scott
