Alluring and full of angst, Entrapment held me hostage from beginning to end. This very unpredictable story had me guessing and pulling on my hair for days. I swear to God Aleatha Romig’s writing, drives me crazy with lust and anxiety, and this story is as addictive as chocolate.

Alexandria is back at Montague Manor. Trapped, once again in the conniving hands of her stepfather. As much as she wants to fight, and rebel against his orders, and go back to Nox, she can’t, for the sake of her mother and her family legacy. This time, though, she has a plan…

Mind while Nox is going absolutely crazy with desperation for not having his Charli with him, and what’s even worse is that her life might be in danger, and he feels helpless as to how to help her. Nox finds himself in foreign territory, having to trust in Charli and her plans in order to get back to him. He hates not being in control, but the love he feels for her is so fierce and loyal, that he is willing to do anything to get her back.

More secrets come to light, but it seems like, more than to help, truths are complicating matters even more. Nox and Charlie can’t trust many people at this point, as they realize that the only truthful thing they have, is their love.

This book had so much angst, I thought I was going to go bald from pulling at my hair so much. I loved how this time around roles were reversed a little bit, and we got to see Nox’s vulnerability and Charli’s strength. Whether in love or at war these two lovers complemented each other beautifully. I simply loved them!!!

I love the intensity and the elegance in which this author delivered this story. Be ready for tons of thrills, and for a holy mother of a cliffhanger that will leave you panting and desperate for more.

When Livvy returns home everything & everyone seems to have changed. Her best friend Em has gone wild, & something with Dustin is off. Then there’s the new boy that just moved in down the street, Ryan. She’d heard about Ryan & seen him in Instagram pictures, but he’s even hotter in person. Livvy needs to focus on graduating & getting into a good college, but suddenly all she has on the brain is boys…boys…boys! Two to be exact. Dustin is crazy about her & Ryan is making it clear he’s interested too. She goes from no prospects with guys to two gorgeous ones who are actually fighting over her.

As she’s caught up in this love triangle, secrets & betrayals are revealed, and suddenly Livvy doesn’t know who she can trust. Things aren’t always what they seem & her best friends that she considered her safe place become her enemies.

Livvy decides her senior year should be filled with endless possibilities & fun, and she isn’t going to let it pass her by. She makes new friends & after lusting over him for weeks decides to see where things go with Ryan. She’s so drawn to him. He’s sexy, confident, funny & sweet, but also confusing. She isn’t sure where they stand, but still finds herself wanting more. Livvy still feels torn about Dustin & Em and continues to second guess her decisions in this teenage story full of angst, drama, jealousy & raging hormones. ;)) I really enjoyed this book & love Monica Murphy’s writing. I can’t wait for the next book & also look forward to more of Tuttle & Amanda.

She realizes this is her second chance & new start, & decides she’s not going to waste it. I absolutely LOVED this book! I adored everything about it. Let’s start with Marcello. This man was dreamy, Italian, swoony, DELICIOUS perfection!!! He treasured this woman & was the love of her life & her soulmate. They were both just living an average life apart, & together they experienced pure bliss! This book was about friendship, love, food, wine, & Rome. Taking the time to enjoy life & not just let it pass you by. About a city full of color & energy, that is a hypnotic, magical place where they savor everything. I now want to go to Rome, ride a Vespa, & explore this breathtaking city I feel like I now know. I want to eat tiramisu, pasta & pastries and hope to see a few Marcello’s along the way! ;))

Roman Crazy is a vibrant second chance romance that takes us on a lovely adventure around Italy. A novel about finding yourself, and love again after losing it all. A fabulous dreamy read, and probably my most favorite book I’ve read this year. A book full of happy!!!!

Avery just found her husband doing the secretary; hot and heavy sex on top of the desk she bought for him. Funny thing is that more so than the fact that she found him cheating on her, she’s overwhelmed with sadness to realize that he has more passion for his secretary than he does for her. Sad because she gave up on her career and on her own dreams , to be a wife. She got lost behind the shadow of her husband, and she too has lost all passion for her marriage and for her life in general.

Avery’s best friend Daisy is an architect living abroad, right now she’s in Rome and after hearing about her best friend’s pain, she invites Avery to spend the summer in Italy with her. Maybe in Italy Avery will find her second wind and renew the passion she once felt for life. Little does Avery know, that on her first night in Italy she will encounter the one that got away, many summers ago; Marcello.

Marcello and Avery met when she was doing an internship in Barcelona. As a major in Arts, Avery had been offered a position in a prestigious museum learning about art restoration. Their love was instant, hot and sizzling. By the time it was time for Avery to go back home to the States, she and Marcello had made plans to continue with their torrid love story, but Avery never came to him.

Marcello was deeply hurt by Avery for not coming back like she had promised, but life took them in different directions, yet somehow now, years later, the attraction is just as strong as it used to be. Will Avery give love another chance? Will she allow love to once again distract her from the career she wants? And can Marcello forgive her, and trust that she will not run again?

So many questions and we get all the answers, along with the most beautiful Italian setting, amazing secondary characters in this vibrant story that will make you swoon and fall in love with Roman Crazy.

I love books that make me smile and feel happy, and Roman Crazy did so in spades. The beauty and authenticity of the story transported me to Rome, I could feel the love, hear the laughter of the people hanging out in the Piazza, I could smell the delicious food, the feelings all too vivid, making me helpless to the charm of the story. These two authors collaborated in a seamless way, you could feel the camaraderie, and how much fun they had writing it, but I couldn’t tell where one’s words started or the other one’s ended, it was perfection.

Even though this book was an absolute winner for me, I gotta say that what I loved the most was that the story wasn’t just solely focused on the romance. Avery was getting a second chance at friendships, at life, and at love. Re-discovering herself, her friends and love, after having lost direction in her own life. As someone who’s been married for a long time I could relate to her; we lose ourselves in the roles of mother or wife and forget a little bit about what we want and who we are inside. Ever since turning thirty I have spent a lot of time contemplating about this, and making it my goal to regain my sense of identity as a woman, and making sure I devote time to myself, and toward my dreams.

To me, this book was so much more than just an entertaining story, it was a reminder for me to never forget about myself, my friends, my family. A reminder for me to stop and smell the flowers, eat the sweets, buy the shoes, drink the wine, because life is too short, and we should live it, and do it passionately.

So… C’mon hop on that Vespa and allow the colorful and sweet words of this story to take over your heart and make you smile, big. A must read!!!!! A wonderful book not to miss.

Marcello looked every bit like my greatest love and my biggest regret.

ROMAN CRAZY is the debut writing collaboration between Alice Clayton and Nina Bocci, and I do believe these two are off to a great start! This story will whisk you away to one of the most romantic places in the world and once you’ve finished reading, it will leave you yearning to get on the next flight out to beautiful Italy. Rome, itself, is very much a main character in this book and the descriptive writing made this reader feel as if I were actually in Italy experiencing the culture and enjoying all the delicious Italian cuisine. But I must confess all of that took a backseat to the over the topLOVE I felt for Marcello Bianchi!!! OMG!!! I swear he made this book for me!! I want to just pack my bags and my dog and move to Rome in hopes that I can find my very own Marcello!

Avery Bardot is visiting her bestie who has been living in Rome for the past several years. She recently filed for divorce after having caught her husband in the act with his secretary. Avery’s using this time in Rome to relax and to also do some soul searching. She hadn’t been really happy in her marriage for quite some time and she may have even lost a big piece of herself during that relationship. During her first week in Rome, Avery comes face to face with a man she never thought she’d ever see again. Nine years ago while she was studying art in Barcelona, she met and fell in love with one GORGEOUS Italian man – Marcello Bianchi. At the end of their summer study abroad, they made plans to be together. Avery was to go back to the states briefly and then return to Barcelona to be with Marcello, but circumstances arose back home that prevented Avery from going back to Spain. Their first meeting nine years later is definitely a bit strained as we learn that Avery never contacted Marcello to explain why she was not returning. She simply just dropped out of his life and left Marcello with a broken heart.

Avery and Marcello end up reconciling and soon their romance picks right back up where they had left off. They couldn’t get enough of each other and I couldn’t get enough of Marcello! Whenever he was not around I had to fight the urge to skim the pages and when he was front and center, I never wanted the story to end. I was completely enamored of Marcello!!

Aside from the passionate romance that Avery has rekindled, she also is getting back to her other love–art. She volunteers on a couple of art restoration projects and ends up landing a job which would keep her in Italy. All seems to be going in the right direction for her, but then a chance encounter and a once in a lifetime opportunity could ultimately tear the couple apart just when they’ve found their way back to each other.

By the time I got to the end of this story, I was left wanting so much more. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Marcello and what I wouldn’t give for another book or possibly a novella to give me the HEA that I want for this couple. I am not sure just having them appear in the follow-up books as secondary characters is going to be enough to satisfy me.

I do highly recommend this book as I feel that you all need to meet Mr. Marcello Bianchi!!

Aly Martinez fans, you are in for one hell of a treat!!Retrieval will grab a hold of you from the very first page and take you on one wild ride. This is the story of Roman and Elisabeth Leblanc’s whirlwind romance and then utter heartbreaking loss that ends in the demise of their marriage. But that’s just where the story starts to take an interesting turn. It was definitely something I didn’t see coming and why I think you must go into this one blind.

The story starts with Elisabeth and Roman calling an end to their marriage. Throughout their five years as husband and wife, they had tried to have children but Lissy ended up having several miscarriages. Then the couple attempted in vitro fertilization which in the end turned out even more heartbreaking when their son died within an hour of being born. Roman felt that he had failed his wife because they didn’t have enough money to try in vitro again so he throws himself into his business but ends up alienating Lissy which ultimately results in the end to their marriage.

Two years later, Roman and Lissy are divorced but haven’t moved on with anyone else. We learn that Roman’s business became hugely successful and he’s been trying to send Lissy checks, but she refuses to cash them. Roman has never stopped loving Lissy and deep down it’s obvious she feels the same but she still has so much hurt inside over how he reacted when their son died. During this time we get flashbacks to their first date and you can’t help but swoon and hope that these two find their way back to each other. A circumstance does arise that throws them back together and things heat up pretty quickly between the couple.

We also are introduced to another character, Clare. She is married to a man who definitely has ties to illegal activities and has no qualms about using his wife as his own personal punching bag. Clare’s body is covered in bruises and the only bright light in her life is her little girl. She would do anything to keep her baby safe and she fears that it is only a matter of time before her husband unleashes his fury on their daughter. Clare is kept on a very short leash and her only reprieve away from her husband are the two hours she’s allowed to go to the gym. I was on the edge of my seat hoping that somehow Clare would find a way to get herself and little Tessa away from her monster of a husband.

Things get seriously out of control by the end of this story and you are going to want to have TRANSFER in your hands asap because we are left with one hell of a cliffy at the end of RETRIEVAL!!! This is hands down, my FAVE by Aly Martinez so far!!

Get ready to fall in love with Roman ladies!!!

I close my eyes, reveling in his words. Is this what people search for their entire lives? I’ve never felt so complete and wanted. My heart throbs to life whenever I look at him.

MAD SEA is a very quick sweet and steamy read. I would categorize this as an erotic fantasy and oh so delicious!! K. Webster is such a versatile author. She can’t be pigeonholed into one set genre. I really have enjoyed all of the books I’ve read by her and she’s on my “Go To Authors” list.

The author warns us straight from the beginning that there is insta-love in this story, and I mean how could there not be when the length of the book is so short. Even though it’s a super quick read, there is plenty of panty melting steam to get a reader going!! Who would ever have thought that mermaids could be so damn HOT???!!!!!

Madden Finn is President of a local MC who runs on the wrong side of the tracks. He’s loyal to his club but he likes to have his privacy as well. He finds plenty of solace at his beach house and during his late night swims in the ocean. Madden has also been crushing on a beautiful waitress that he stalks every Friday night at a local frozen yogurt shop. Hali Morgan intrigues Madden and he’s so consumed by his infatuation with her, he’d do just about anything to be with Hali.

Finally, after a few months of stalking her, Madden and Hali end up having a conversation which turns into a date. They hit it off instantaneously. Both feel such a strong pull towards each other. It’s as if these two were destined to be soul mates.

They have some pretty amazing sex very early into their relationship and well, let’s just say I am pretty sure that many a reader will be panting over those scenes!! Madden and Hali both have secrets from their past that they are afraid to share. Will these secrets destroy their relationship before it even gets started or will they end up bringing the two even closer together??

If you can suspend belief for a couple of hours and get lost in a fun and steamy fantasy, you should definitely give this one a try!!

CHANGE OF HEART is a story jam-packed with incredible steam and heartbreaking angst. I loved the hero and heroine and the beautiful family that surrounded them with so much love and support. Once I picked up this book it really was quite hard to put down. Nicole Jacquelyn’s storytelling ability is exquisite and I know that this won’t be the last book that I read by her.

Ani was abandoned by her mother at a very young age and had grown up in the foster care system for most of her life. She’s had more bad experiences than good within all of the foster homes she has lived in, but her last one turned out to be with the best family a girl could ever hope for. She ended up with the family while in her teens. They had adopted twin sons who were a bit older and who were no longer living in the family home. She got along well with one but was always at odds with the other, Bram. Years later when both are adults, after Friday night dinner with the family, things take a different turn for Ani and Bram.

Things get intense during a heated argument between the two and they ultimately end up having sex in the back of Ani’s pickup truck. Afterward, it gets really awkward between them as they both try to figure out where their heads are at. Bram makes it clear that nothing serious can develop between them and Ani appears to be of the same mindset, but obviously there’s something brewing that had always been there just beneath the surface. Just when the two are starting to realize their true feelings for each other, something unexpected happens that changes Ani’s life in a big way and has Bram running in the opposite direction.

As Ani tries to build her new life she struggles with the heartache she feels over losing Bram. She’s a woman with a tough exterior and has had to harden her heart to protect herself. So when Bram finally wakes up and sees that he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, will Ani open her heart back up to him or has the damage been done?

Change of Heart is an enemies to lovers story that also had the second chance romance trope to boot. It’s also about family and how blood doesn’t always make someone your family, but that love truly does.

VIEWING ROOM is the second installment in the Society Xseries and can be read as a standalone. The story was packed with some incredible steam and suspense that helped to hold my interest till the very end.

Kennedy Vaughn is a successful lawyer who co-owns a law firm. She has recently gone through a divorce and her friends from work are taking her out for a night filled with sinful debauchery at the very well known and high end sex club, Society X. While in the club’s lounge one of the gorgeous male strippers catches her eye and he is making it clear that he likes what he sees as well. As fate would have it, she ends up getting treated to a striptease and lap dance in the viewing room and the guy who had her heating up inside the lounge, happens to be the stripper. Kennedy gets quite the show and things get even hotter later on that evening.

Hunter Miles has been working at Society X for a couple of years in order to pay for law school, but he’s always enjoyed the no strings attached sex that is readily available to him at the club. One look at Kennedy changes everything for him. As they spend more time together, Hunter’s feelings run deep rather quickly. But Kennedy’s recent divorce and the fact that she is not thrilled with Hunter’s job at Society X has her reluctant to jump into anything serious with him.

The two have major chemistry in the physical aspect of their relationship but things get even more complicated when Hunter ends up getting an internship at Kennedy’s firm. While feelings start to intensify between them, they also have to work hard at keeping things low key in the office.

Things get intense when one of Kennedy’s cases requires the two of them to do some undercover work at Society X. The case turns quite dangerous and lives are threatened.

I spent the entire weekend reading this mind blowing and extremely dark series! All I can say is that I have become an even bigger fan of K. Webster! I can’t even believe I actually asked her if I could skip books one and two, and just read book three!! What was I even thinking??!! This is a series that will grab a hold of you from the very beginning and you’ll have a hard time letting it go even after you’ve finished reading it. I truly thought that my little heart couldn’t take dark reads but now I know, I might just be a little twisted inside and I definitely will read ANYTHING K. Webster writes!!!

We were left with a serious cliffy at the end of book one. Gabe shows up and of course, when all is said and done there is bloodshed and Baylee’s life is once again turned into a living nightmare. I don’t know how this young girl is able to persevere. Most people would probably lose their minds and turn into a complete catatonic mess, but our heroine has such a strong will to survive. Gabe drags poor Baylee back to his cabin and all she can think of is the beautiful man who she fell in love with who was so violently taken away from her. Things are looking very bleak for Baylee until she sees an opportunity to escape and while she tries to run for help she is reunited with her ex-boyfriend, Brandon.

Brandon has been on a mission to find Baylee ever since Gabe kidnapped her all those months ago. Before the kidnapping, he was just an innocent teenaged boy but something snapped inside of him during Baylee’s disappearance. This guy turns out to be just as mentally deranged as Gabe. I guess here’s where the story became a four instead of a five for me. It was just too much. We already had psychotic Gabe who just can’t be destroyed and now the sweet high school boyfriend turns out to be looney toons too???!!!

I don’t want to give much away. Just be prepared for some major cray cray in this one!! And the ending just left me with a seriously uneasy feeling in my stomach. You’ll want to dive into book three right away after finishing this one.

This Is Love, Baby is not for the faint of heart and if you are not a fan of RAPE in books, you will definitely want to steer clear of this one. But, if you love the dark reads, this one is sure to please!!!

This was definitely the most f’d up installment of the series so far, and I absolutely LOVED it!! I enjoyed it so much and got turned on so many times I lost count. There may be a visit to a therapist in the near future for me because I don’t even know how I could actually have fallen for a completely deranged psychopath like Gabe, but I did!! K. Webster, again, had me seeing the villain in a different light. This book will give you insights into the man who has been a living nightmare in the previous two books.

We thought we had seen the last of Gabe towards the end of book two, but when we get to the last couple of pages we learn he had been saved by a doctor who lives just down the beach from War and Baylee. He’s been living with this lady for the past two years and all the while he’s also been spying on War, Baylee, and especially their daughter, Hannah. Gabe believes Hannah is his daughter and is biding his time until he can be a part of her life. Nearly seventeen years later he will get his chance.

Gabe may just have met his match. He even seems to be the more rational character as opposed to Hannah McPherson. She takes crazy to a whole other level! These two are a modern day psychotic version of Bonnie & Clyde! There were times I even felt kind of dirty for enjoying the very steamy bits of this story!!

What I didn’t expect was to develop a soft spot for Gabe, but this is his book and we are made privy to all that transpired during his horrific childhood. You’ll understand how the monster was born, and we learn that present day Gabe is motivated by his need for love. I found that I could forgive him for all his past sins and there will be some surprising alliances made.

Hannah, on the other hand, I wasn’t too big a fan of. She was definitely a very unstable young woman and I think that it was Baylee’s horrific experiences with Brandon and Gabe while being pregnant that doomed the life of Hannah. I’d blame that more than her having inherited anything from War since all of his idiosyncrasies developed after he witnessed a traumatic event. His problems were born from circumstances rather than being genetically inherited. I never really felt any pity for Hannah because the girl didn’t have one redeeming quality.

This is a seriously twisted and addictive series! I think it is simply a masterpiece!! After finishing this last book, I know I would read anything by K. Webster. She has brought me over to the dark side and I may never return!!

Disturbingly good. Be ready, because this book is not for the faint-hearted. This story will make you crazy with lust, dizzy with all the angst, and desperate for more.

I started falling dangerously in love with this author’s brilliance with the first book and by this third installment of the War and Peace series, I was craving the dark excitement she gives us readers, with every fiber in my body.

Because villains need love too, right?
Well in this book this statement is taken to a whole other level. Gabe who we know as the crazy, kidnapper from the previous books is the center of this new story. We learn more about Gabe’s past and about the events that happened in his childhood that shaped him into the man he is. I really enjoyed reading those chapters about his early life because while dark and brutal, they give his character humanity. The guy I had despised in the two prior books was a victim in his own right, and not that it excuses him from his foul behavior, but it certainly makes you understand the story better.

Gabe had been living close to his victim for years now, watching her family and especially the little girl he believes to be his, Hannah.

Years later Hannah is almost eighteen, her whole life she’s felt out of place and misunderstood by everyone around her. She’s not like other girls her age, she’s broken, unhinged, the chemicals in her brain make her think and act in very wicked ways.

If Gabe was her mother’s punisher in the past, now he becomes Hannah’s dark angel, one night saving her from a terrible situation. The brutality of this event bonded these two characters, in what will become the start of a very provoking relationship.

This book had me so twisted that I felt like if I should be reading it in secret, constantly looking over my shoulder, as if I was afraid I’d get caught doing something illicit. The things that happen in this book are very dark, bloody and downright sinful, yet I loved reading it so much.

It’s very impressive how this author made me love these crazy characters, especially Gabe. I had so much disdain for him, but the more I read, the more I craved his wicked ways.
I will crown author K. Webster the queen of the dark and wicked. Hail to the queen!!!

The Wedding Belles series is quickly becoming one of my top faves by Lauren Layne. I really had my doubts when I read the first novella but after having read books one and two, this is becoming a solid HIT for me!!! Another enemies-to-lovers story, For Better Or Worse had an engaging storyline, an endearing Heroine, and a Hero who will be melting the panties off of many a reader!!

Heather Fowler is the current Assistant Wedding Planner ofThe Belles, but she is being groomed for a promotion to full-fledged Wedding Planner. She’s been assigned to plan the wedding of Page Six socialite, Danica Robinson, and if she can pull off the diva’s dream wedding, Heather’s promotion will be in the bag. Heather has her dream job within her grasp and also just moved into a cute NYC apartment, but she runs into a little snag along the way – she has one very noisy next door neighbor who likes to practice his very LOUD rock music late in the evenings.

Heather and Josh’s first meeting is not all hearts and flowers. She practically bites Josh’s head off but he can’t help but find the snippy blonde all kinds of sexy!! Heather also can’t deny that her new neighbor has the face and body of a god!! The two soon become good friends but the more time they spend together, they find it harder to deny the growing attraction between them. Neither of them has ever been in love, well that’s to say that they both have avoided love for very different reasons.
