Madeleine Thatcher is a 27 yr. old gorgeous, single woman living in rural Texas, in a small town called Hamilton. She works as a real estate agent at Hamilton Realty, & lately feels as if her whole life is one big hot mess. She just can’t seem to get it together. She’s struggling to pay her rent, can’t seem to sell a house to save her life, & although she attends singles events & uses online dating apps, she hasn’t had any luck in the love department. Everyone around her seems to be happily coupled, even her older brother Lucas who is married to her best friend Daisy. All Madeleine really has lately is her dog Mouse that she recently adopted.

Adam Foxe is a sexy veterinarian from Chicago that recently moved to Hamilton to be closer to his family. He’s on his third week at his new job as the town Vet when he crosses paths with the beautiful Madeleine Thatcher. It’s kind of a train wreck, & Madeleine makes a horrible first impression. As they continue to run into one another everywhere they turn, they begin to grow on each other. There’s an undeniable attraction between them neither can ignore. After recently getting out of a long-term relationship Adam isn’t really ready to date yet, but he’s desperate to get his mom off his back so he offers Madeleine a proposition she can’t refuse. Pretend to be his fake girlfriend for a family function & he’ll hire her to find him a home. As they are spending all this time together they share an unexpected kiss that rocks both their worlds.

 

 

Even though Adam doesn’t think he’s ready to get into another relationship so soon, he can’t deny how badly he wants Madeleine. She’s all he can think about. He even enjoys her quirky personality. Will she be the one he breaks all his rules for, & will Madeleine finally find her happily ever after?

I love R.S. Grey’s writing. Every time I start one of her books I know I’m in for a treat and it’s going to be fantastic! This was no different. It was a sexy romantic comedy that I couldn’t put down. Just loved it!

I thought my heart was dead—gone—after Olivia, but Madeleine has proved it’s alive and well, beating so hard I can barely see straight.

 

 

Every time I hear there’s a new R.S. Grey book coming out, I get a little giddy inside. I know that I am guaranteed to fall in love with the story and characters she creates. THE FOXE AND THE HOUND was right up my alley. Being a HUGE dog lover, I got a kick out of the fact that the swoon-worthy Hero in this story is a Veterinarian and the Heroine is the owner of an adorable yet rambunctious Bernese Mountain dog. The couple’s first meeting is completely disastrous which is the perfect recipe for an enemies-to-lovers themed romance.

You will find it hard not to like Madeleine, who happens to be Lucas’s younger sister and Daisy’s best friend, they were the main couple from “ANYTHING YOU CAN DO”. Madeleine is a real estate agent who is having a tough time bringing in new clients and hasn’t earned a commission since she sold a house to Lucas and Daisy six months ago. She’s struggling to pay her rent and has recently been put on probation at work due to her lackluster performance. But even when life seems to constantly put her through adversity, she never gives up. Madeleine is a fighter and she’s determined to make something of herself. Her love life is non-existent. Living in a small town does nothing to help her current single status, but she doesn’t let that get her down. She has her adorable dog, Mouse, to provide her love and companionship for the time being, and even though he is overly energetic and almost impossible for her to control, she loves that dog with all of her heart. He actually ends up bringing her face to face with one extremely good-looking stranger in the park, when Mouse tackles the man and gets his muddy paws all over his expensive suit. Madeleine is instantly attracted to the man until he unleashes his surly attitude on to her. It’s unfortunate really because she lives in a small town and the number of single men that she doesn’t actually know already is in the zero percentile. Fate will have these two crossing paths often, in fact, Adam ends up being Mouse’s vet.

 

 

 

 

Each time they end up seeing each other the atmosphere is tense and the two ultimately get into some sort of heated argument but then a mutually beneficial agreement between Adam and Madeleine will take their relationship down a different path and they’ll be unable to fight the powerful chemistry that exists between them.

When things start to heat up for the couple, Adam’s past unexpectedly comes crashing in and threatening to tear them apart. Adam’s fickle behavior was at times, extremely annoying and it only caused Madeleine to put up her walls and to be overly cautious, and there’s really no way anyone could fault her for wanting to protect her heart. Adam was the character that caused most of the angst but even then I think readers will have a hard time not falling in love with him.

Bold, colorful and totally exciting. Hearts On Air is a beautiful adventure that transports the reader to beautiful places and experience emotions that will make our hearts jump with the flip of every page.

 

 

Trevor and Reya have been best friends for years. Reya’s always had a major crush on the younger of the Cross brothers, but she’s had to hide her feelings after Trevor put her in the friend zone. These two always have the best time together; their banter is hilarious and totally contagious throughout the book. The truth is that Trevor also has feelings for Reya but he doesn’t feel worthy of her so he’s never tried to show how he really feels.

Trevor’s dream to become a reality star, showcasing his Parkour talents has finally become a reality. He’s been given the opportunity to travel from city to city doing amazing stunts, quickly becoming a household name. Fame, women, and money are what Trevor always thought he wanted but all the success doesn’t taste as sweet when he doesn’t have his family and friends close to him. Trevor has learned a lot about himself in the time he’s been away. He’s been fighting hard with the demons that haunt him. I was on cloud nine reading this book. I’ve been in love with Trevor since I first started reading this series and his story was as colorful and heartwarming as I knew it would be, perhaps even more. Reya was just the perfect heroine for him. She was the peanut butter to his jelly and their love story, the perfect treat for me. Reading Hearts On Air felt like having a million butterflies fluttering around my heart, giving me the biggest smile ever. Just perfect!

I nodded in an effort to convince myself it would be easy, a piece of cake, and yet still, I had that distinct, unsettling, dreadful feeling that despite our best efforts to make this work, the world was going to tear Trev and I apart.

 

 

I’m absolutely in love with L.H. Cosway’s writing! Her characters are always so unique and vibrant. I’ve only read a few of the books in this series but I can tell you that there hasn’t been one Heroine or Hero that I didn’t love. The Heroines have had a rough start in life and somehow have been left alone to face all of life’s challenges, but they persevere. Each Cross brother is charismatic in their own way and will steal your heart! Get ready to be dazzled by Trev and Reya’s love story!!

Trevor and Reya have been the best of friends since the day that they met. Although, Reya was a little more than disappointed that things never went any further as she was smitten with Trev from the moment she first laid eyes on him. Little did she know that Trev was harboring a crush on her as well. Reya is a singer/songwriter and Trev would show up to all of her performances. Whenever she spotted him in the audience she sensed something in his eyes that had her heart racing! One night Trev asks Reya to go out on an adventure with him – that they should do things they’ve never done before. On this night, feelings that the two bottled up for so long come to the surface and they share a passionate night together. Reya was hesitant to cross the line between friends and lovers with Trev because she feared she would end up with a broken heart which is what happened when Trev gets the role of a lifetime on a reality TV show. The show becomes a huge hit making Trev an overnight celebrity and Reya decides to break things off so that she isn’t holding him back from living his new and exciting life.

 

 

Fast forward to about two years later, present day, Trevor is back home for a visit and he’s looking to have Reya back in his life. They haven’t seen each other for nearly two years. While things have changed drastically for Trev, Reya’s been stuck in a holding pattern. Her feelings for Trev never truly dissipated but she tries as hard as she can to remain a bit aloof whenever he’s around. Reya’s plans to avoid Trev are thwarted when he helps her get a temporary job as the PA for his show. For three weeks she will be traveling across Europe with Trev and his fellow cast mates.

Throughout the story, we are taken from the past to present so we get to experience all of the butterflies when their relationship is just starting and then the heartbreak when it all falls apart. But their love for each other transcends time and distance, and even Trev’s behavioral disorder, ADHD. It is what caused him at times to be unavailable when Reya needed him the most. During their separation, Trev was going to counseling to learn how to manage his ADHD. He wants another chance with Reya and will go to great lengths to make that happen.

 

 

Trev is not the only one with issues in the relationship. Reya’s family chose to abandon her when she went through a traumatic experience and they all accused her of being a liar. She feels as though she’s never been anyone’s first priority and expects that the people closest to her will inevitably let her down, and when Trev isn’t there for her during a couple of rough patches it only convinces her that she’ll never come first in his life either. Reya let her insecurities rule her which led her to push away the one person who truly loved her the most, but working on the show with Trev might just give them their second chance at happiness.

I absolutely loved this story! We get chapters from the past & the present, so I fell hard for two men who are very different on the outside but share some similarities in personality. They are both alpha males to the extreme, & hot as hell! I repeat HOT AS HELL!!! One is all tatted up & rides a motorcycle & the other is a delicious suit wearing hottie with every hair in place. Both men were totally captivated by this stunning woman & would do anything to have her. This story was incredibly sexy & had me hooked from start to finish. This book is full of beautiful love, but it’s all tangled up in a web of lies that comes to a head by the end of the book & leaves you dying for more!

Once I read the synopsis of ”The Tangled Lies” series, I knew I had to get my hands on these books! I was completely consumed by this story! Pam Godwin’s writing is incredible. The way she weaves this tale is simply masterful. This is one hell of a love triangle romance that held me captive from page one! Usually, I’ve chosen my favorite guy by the time that I get at least halfway through the story but the intricate character development had my heart torn between the two amazing but polar opposite men by the time I was almost to the end. And let me just add that the steam factor is sinfully decadent!!

 

 

 

 

Danni Angelo met the love of her life one cold morning in front of her house when she volunteered to help out her elderly neighbor by having a talk with the man who drives by the neighborhood at an ungodly hour on his loud motorcycle. Danni and Cole feel an instant spark during that first meeting which results in a passionate love affair. In less than ten months they are engaged and planning on their forever. Cole is wild and oozing with alpha masculinity but his love for Danni is so tender and all consuming. And Danni is just as much in love with Cole as well. He completely owns her, body and soul.

 

 

Ten months into their relationship, Cole’s job requires him to fly off to Afghanistan to work on a year-long project. It’s all very top secret and their ability to communicate will be limited but he promises Danni that when he returns, they will get married and he’ll quit his job so that he never has to leave her again. Danni’s world is completely devastated when Cole is killed during an accident on the job. For over two years Danni loses herself to her grief over Cole’s death. She ends up going on a blind date with one of her brother-in-law’s friends at the urging of her sister. It is during her disastrous blind date that she meets Trace Savoy, the devilishly sexy and beautiful man who is about to become her employer. Trace shows up at her house and informs her that he is the new owner of the club she performs at as a belly dancer. His plan is to relocate the club to his casino. The man is oozing with power and raw sex appeal. He’s 100% alpha male and has stirred up feelings within Danni that she thought she’d never experience again in her lifetime.

 

 

 

Trace and Danni play ”hot & cold/push & pull” head games for almost three-quarters of this story and it was beyond frustrating but also highly entertaining as well. All throughout the story, there are chapters that take us back to the past where we get to experience Danni and Cole’s love affair as well. The author makes sure that Cole never leaves Danni’s or the reader’s minds throughout the story and it only helped to make my heart feel further conflicted. It becomes so very hard to choose between Cole and Trace because they end up being pretty amazing in different ways.

 

 

Book one ends on one serious cliffhanger that completely blew my mind. I was expecting a shocking development at the end but was completely thrown off balance by how far the depths of betrayal went. I’m not even sure what to think anymore! My mind and heart are caught up in a tailspin!

Business is thriving & he enjoys all the perks that come with owning an elite sex club. He enjoys the life he leads full of a variety of beautiful women.

 

Trista Barnes is a woman in trouble. She’s desperate for money & out of options. Her last hope is a man named Jerico that owes her brother a favor. Jerico agrees to give her some money & then his slate will be wiped clean. Trista has no clue Jerico see’s this as his golden opportunity to get revenge against her brother who betrayed him in the past. At first, she is a pretty abrasive even though Soren seems to be a really easy going person who goes out of his way to help her out. Eventually, her icy demeanor thaws and the two become fast friends, but there’s also a strong attraction they feel for each other. The problem is that Hayden has serious abandonment issues stemming from her father walking out on her family when she was a child. Hayden has never seen what a healthy relationship looks like, so to her, it just seems quite impossible.

When Soren and Hayden finally admit their true feelings to each other and start dating, Hayden’s modeling career starts to take off and she’s having to fly off and stay in Paris weeks at a time while Soren is on the road, traveling to away games with his college baseball team. He’s on the fast track of being recruited by a professional team and has no idea where that will take him. The distance and insecurities start to take its toll on their relationship.

Will they be able to weather the bumpy road that lays ahead of them?

I really love Nicole William’s writing and consider her one of my favorite authors, but this one was just “okay” for me. I think that people who enjoy NA romances might actually like this story.

Marni Mann and Gia Riley have created a delicious and sinful story that is going to make you blush, and fantasize about very naughty things. I had such a great time reading this book; the collaboration between these two authors was seamless and absolutely decadent. There are a few scenes there that I will be nominating for hottest sex of the year in a book. Watch out for Lover and make sure not to miss it!

 

 

Piper Callahan and her husband have been married for a few years but lately, their relationship feels off. They love each other but they hardly ever spend any time together and when they do, it feels like a big wall is separating them. They’ve tried talking about their issues and have even tried going away on romantic trips, but nothing seems to work. In an effort to bring them closer together they decide to try swinging with another couple, they think maybe being more adventurous in the bedroom is what their marriage needs to go back to what it once was.

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn’t be that big of a deal Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he’s still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I’m trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

The latest rom-com standalone written by Meghan Quinn is filled with a ton of laugh out loud moments that only the authors signature brand of humor can evoke. It is a ”friends-to-lovers” story that at times will torture you with the painful angst but also contains so much heart. If you read CO-WRECKER, you will have already met the Hero and Heroine of MY BEST FRIEND’S EX. Tucker Jameson is Sadie’s high school sweetheart and Emma is one of Sadie’s long time best friends. I would also categorize this as a forbidden love story due to the nature of their connection to each other. Although I found this one to be a little more on the serious side, I still really enjoyed reading it and Meghan Quinn has now become an automatic must-read author for me.

Emma Marks is in her final year of nursing school and finds herself in a bit of a pickle. She and her roommate have been given an eviction notice and must vacate their apartment within three days. Emma’s having a hard time finding a place to rent with such short notice. One night while drowning her sorrows at a local bar, she runs into Tucker Jameson. Tucker and Emma grew up together and lost touch after his relationship with Emma’s best friend Sadie fell apart. They had a very volatile relationship which went to hell once Sadie became pregnant and then ultimately had a miscarriage. While it’s been almost over a year and Sadie is now happily in love with her new boyfriend, Tucker has been stuck in limbo. Living in the house he bought for Sadie and the baby they lost, has only helped to further isolate him from his friends and keeps him from moving on from the past. When Tucker hears that Emma is in desperate need of a place to stay, he offers her to come live with him as he has a pretty decent sized house with a spare bedroom. Emma feels a little weird about living with Tucker because she realizes that he obviously has been going through a rough patch and that she hasn’t been a good friend to him since she never bothered to check on him over the past year. She does end up moving in with Tucker when she is unable to find anything else.

 

 

At first, their interactions are a bit uncomfortable because of all the past drama but they soon fall into an easy friendship that is filled with some hilarious banter and sexy flirtations. They do set up some rules of the house and two of them strike up a painful reminder of Tucker’s past – they’re not to ever discuss his relationship with Sadie and the room across the hall from Emma’s bedroom is never to be entered or talked about as well. It’s pretty obvious to Emma that the room across from hers was meant to be the baby’s room and the realization that Tucker hasn’t been able to move on from that loss, breaks Emma’s heart. Readers will find it hard not to fall crazy in love with Tucker. He’s still so lost in his grief and heartbreak over losing Sadie and their baby.

Tucker and Emma start to feel deeply attracted to each other but because of his past relationship with Sadie, they both try to fight the chemistry that they share. But eventually, flirty banter starts to turn into playful touching and here is where Emma starts to feel like Tucker was one serious vagina tease! He walks around in tight fitting boxers and nothing else, knowing how it affects Emma and then he starts hot and heavy make-out sessions only to abruptly stop as soon as things are getting unbearably hot between them. He deserved a swift kick to the nuts for being so hot & cold.

 

 

Tucker and Emma will eventually push all their doubts to the side and give in to their desires for each other. It’s then that Emma’s fear that Tucker’s heart still belongs to Sadie, starts to magnify even more. She is plagued by thoughts that she will never measure up to Sadie in Tucker’s eyes.

Is Tucker still stuck in the past? Or has the time with Emma helped to heal him and bring clarity to his mind?

I love discovering new authors, and K.K Allen totally blew my mind with this Rockstar book. Dangerous Hearts had the perfect combination of angst, romance, and music. Once you start reading it you won’t be able to put it down.

Hop on the Wolf tour bus and I promise you will have a blast. Take notes because this duet series will steal your heart.

 

 

Lyric Cassidy has always been surrounded by music. Both her parents are musicians and I guess you can say that Lyric’s love for music comes from deep within her veins. She’s a clandestine songwriter, she only writes music that never sees the light of day because she’s not interested in the spotlight. Writing music is her way of dealing with the emotions inside her heart. And because music is a vital part of her life she has settled for a job as tour manager for a record company. Her last tour ended badly when her boyfriend of two years cheated on her with her best friend. Tired of heartache she has sworn off from ever hooking up with another Rockstar, she is DONE! That, of course, is until she meets the one and only Wolf in person.

From the moment they meet sparks fly but they both immediately reject the strong reaction. Wolf can tell that Lyric is a good girl who is looking for a prince charming and he is anything but that, and Lyric simply can’t go through another Rockstar romance that will for sure break her heart.

There won’t be much these two can do when Wolf and Lyric find themselves stuck inside that tour bus every day. And lucky for us we go along for the ride as they battle a delicious romance that will tingle all of your senses.

This is an extremely well written Rockstar romance, that is angsty and totally addictive. Trust me when I tell you that once you finish the book you will be begging for more.

The Pierce’s are like family to him. Brady has it all, everything he’s always wanted, except marriage & family. He wants a lasting relationship, not just a quick roll in the hay. He grew up in a traditional type family & knows exactly the kind of woman he’s looking for. She must be kind, conservative, polished, soft-spoken, have manners, & be ready to settle down.

Charlotte Grayson aka Charlie is a beautiful 25 yr. old confident, free spirited woman who grew up poor & appreciates the simple things in life. She knows who she is, and is proud of the woman she’s become. She’s independent, impulsive, fun, & likes to be spontaneous. She hasn’t found a man yet that could hold her attention. What really did it for her was renovation. She got her joy from ripping apart houses. Flipping dilapidated properties for a profit had become her passion. She was newly hired by Pierce Brothers Construction & now working full time, and beginning to carve out a name for herself.

Charlie has an amazing opportunity come up to buy a home she can transform. She’s so excited to have a place of her own to dive into. She wants to build her career and thinks this project would give her career that extra push. The only issue is the home is in a dangerous neighborhood, & the Pierce brothers don’t think she’s safe to work there alone.

 

Pierce Brothers sexy architect with the attitude shows up to help out. Brady always looked at her as if he found her lacking. He was elegant, intense, judgy, chauvinistic & had a huge ego. She hated she often had to go to him for approval on Pierce projects, & didn’t want his help with her personal project. She didn’t want or need a babysitter, but apparently, her employers wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Brady doesn’t want to be anywhere near Charlie, but he’s stuck working with her & sharing the same space. He’s hoping they can renovate the house without killing each other. He felt she always went out of her way to make his life miserable. She drove him crazy & knew just how to ignite his temper. He believed in structure & despised chaos. He felt she was flighty & impulsive. They were complete opposites in every way. She was constantly pushing his buttons with her sassy attitude, but he guessed he could tolerate her on a limited basis. He just hated he was so attracted to her.

Charlie can’t stand Brady but tries to get along to work together. He was the only person at work she clashed with. He was just so serious all the time. He had a dominant personality & always wanted to be in control. He was uptight & she soon learned his views on women were archaic. She thought his old-fashioned views were ridiculous, & he frustrated her. He seemed to like riling her up. He likes order and is a planner, & they have totally different philosophies on relationships, so why is she so attracted to him. The longer they work together & banter, the harder it is to fight their sexual chemistry.

 

 

-“Did you ever stop to wonder what it would feel like to let go of all that control, even for one night?”

-What was happening between them lately? Why was she suddenly so aware of him?

-“Take the chance. I’ll give you what you want. What you need.”

-“You just have to say yes.”

 

The last thing Brady needs is a woman like Charlie, but he can’t help how badly he wants her. He didn’t like things messy in work or relationships, but he suddenly couldn’t control his feelings for this infuriating, complicated woman. She didn’t play games, & she truly made him happy. He didn’t plan to fall for her, but he did. He felt so connected to her, & her joy was contagious. She balanced him out & he was hopelessly infatuated with her. She was slowly wrecking all his ideals & was all he could think about. She changed him & brought out the best in him, but can they compromise enough to have a future together, or are they too different.

I loved this book so much! This whole series is amazing! Just adored Brady Heart. This was such a sexy, fun, smoking hot read!

SOMEHOW, SOME WAY is the latest installment of the Billionaire Builders series and although it is a novella and the Hero and Heroine are not officially members of the Pierce family, it may have actually been my favorite so far. The theme that keeps playing out in these books is the ”Enemies to Lovers” trope which I can’t seem to get enough of because the passion burns hotter between two people who start off seemingly at each other’s throats whenever they’re in the same room together.

Charlotte Grayson, design and rehab specialist, is one of the newest additions to Pierce Brothers construction. She is a spirited and independent woman who pretty much everyone loves—everyone except for Brady Heart. Brady is Pierce Brothers’ architect and also one of the partners of the company. He’s been a close friend to the brothers for years and the brothers consider him to be a brother rather than just a friend. Brady is just as strong willed as Charlie, and he’s got a temper to match hers as well. Whenever these two are within the vicinity of each other they’re guaranteed to get into heated arguments.

 

 

They are forced to work together when the Pierce Brothers find out that Charlie has bought a house that she wants to flip, that’s located in a less than desirable area. Brady is the one chosen to work on the rehab with Charlie in order to ensure her safety. Being the fiercely independent woman that she is, this arrangement doesn’t go over with her so well in the beginning, but when they are able to work amicably together, both Charlie and Brady start to realize that they may have misjudged each other. There’s also an undeniably strong attraction that has been building between them for quite some time and that it may have even fueled the tension that they’ve always felt around each other.

The two inevitably give in to the passion that they can no longer deny exists within them and when they do, let’s just say I wasn’t the least bit disappointed in the steam that was generated by these two! Charlie and Brady are consumed by their white-hot attraction for one another but their path to a happily ever after isn’t clear of obstacles, and they’re pretty big ones at that. Brady has grown up with old fashioned values. He’s looking for a woman to settle down and have kids with, who will stay at home and take care of the family while he goes out and makes the money. This is the antithesis to what Charlie is all about and no matter how much in love she is with Brady, there’s no way she would ever give up on her career to become a homemaker.

 

 

Will they be able to work out their differences, or will Charlie and Brady have to walk away from one of the best things that have ever come into their lives?
