I still taste her name in my mouth. It used to be my favorite word, even if I haven’t said it aloud in years. But it’s gone through my head a million times, always attached to a question. Where is she? How is she? Is she happy?

There are many authors that I love, but only a small group that I hold up high on a pedestal, and Nina Lane is a very special author to me. I know that I will forever swoon and sigh deeply whenever I hear the name Professor Dean West. Nina created one of my most cherished series, Spiral of Blissand it looks like, once again, she has written a story about two people who were lucky enough to find that one epic love with each other, but then were torn apart by an unthinkable tragedy.

Nearly a decade has passed where Cole and Josie have not been in each other’s lives. Thousands of miles, painful memories, and heartbreak have built an insurmountable wall between them. Now Josie has returned home and the couple soon comes face to face. All the feelings of their overpowering love and incredible loss come rushing back in.

Will they be able to find their way back to each other? Or are they doomed to live a lifetime apart, secretly pining away for one another?

REVIEW – IF WE LEAP (What If Duet, #0.5) by Nina Lane

SYNOPSIS

Will he take the leap with me?

Cole Danforth was a troubled kid with a bad reputation. When I was nine years old, he rescued me from bullies trying to steal my Halloween candy. Thus began my decade-long crush on him.

Now, the summer after my freshman year in college, I discover the boy has turned into a gorgeous man who makes me melt. Every part of me wants him — my heart, my mind, my body. But Cole, struggling with the burden of his past, refuses to accept how good we are together.

I believe in us hard enough to take the chance. But will Cole take the leap of faith with me?

This novella prequel takes place ten years before If We Fall, Book One in Nina Lane’s What If duet.

Cole Danforth was my first crush, my first lover, my only love. In my girlhood days when I’d dreamed about a lifelong love, he’d been the one who always came to mind. The one I wished for. And in my nineteenth year, I lived with a translucent, shimmering wish come true. Then the wish ruptured, exploding from the inside, firing shards of metal straight through my heart. From the burnt ashes, a new wish formed, misshapen and ugly. I wish I’d never known Cole Danforth.

A steamy and entertaining prequel to the “What If” series, IF WE LEAP takes us to the beginning of an epic love story between Cole Danforth and Josie Mays. They were destined from early childhood to one day become soul mates. Two pieces of a puzzle that fit perfectly together. But something went terribly wrong that ripped the couple apart.

IF WE LEAP is a pretty quick read and definitely recommended before diving into book one.

REVIEW – LOVE ONLINE by Penelope Ward

SYNOPSIS

From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod” and she was “Montana,” but of course, those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind.

Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape—my sanctuary.

Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out.

From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed.

She was an addiction.

At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities…and she was adamant that we keep things that way. Anonymity had no effect on our unstoppable chemistry, though. If anything, it allowed us to open up even more in ways we may not have otherwise.

Eden was funny, intelligent, gorgeous—everything I’d ever wanted in a woman.

But I couldn’t really have her.

I had accepted things would have to stay the way they were—until the day I found a clue that led me straight to her.

So I took a chance.

And that was when our love story really began.

My life had been dark for a couple of years, and connecting with Ryder had given me something to look forward to each day, something just for me and no one else. He was truly my guilty pleasure.

I have to admit that I didn’t read the blurb when I signed up to review Love Online. Penelope Ward is just one of many authors that I have placed on my automatic must-read list. I assumed that the couple in this story was going to meet via an online dating service. I was completely wrong. I can’t say that I’ve ever read a story in which the romance started off in this most unconventional way. It isn’t my idea of the perfect romance, but somehow the author made it work.

It starts off in the Hero, Ryder McNamara’s point of view. I didn’t fall in love with him right away. He came across as arrogant and one dimensional to me. It wasn’t until Eden and Ollie’s appearance in the story that I began to witness the layers of Ryder’s character. At that point, I was able to connect with the plot and found the book hard to put down.

I can only imagine how challenging it must be for an author to come up with original storylines and I really think that Penelope Ward nailed it with this one.

REVIEW – THE LEFT SIDE OF PERFECT/THE RIGHT SIDE OF FOREVER (The Perfect Duet) by Meghan Quinn

SYNOPSIS

For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .

The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.
And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.
The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.

When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.
The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.
The third?
I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.

But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.

I’m getting married.
This is forever, ’til death do us part.

SYNOPSIS

In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .

It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.
To give them your heart.

So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?

She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.

*****FIVE STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

”To me, there is a left side of perfect. The right side of perfect is what society deems worthy of this title. It’s the kind of perfect you believe doesn’t exist, but in other’s eyes, it does. And then there is the left side of perfect, my favorite kind. That’s the kind of soul-bearing perfect, full of flaws and shortcomings. It’s the most beautiful side of perfect…the imperfect.”

The right side of forever provides the relationship that stays with you, the relationship that’s imprinted itself so deep into your bone marrow that you live and breathe for that person.

I have a huge girl crush on Meghan Quinn now! I know I will read whatever she writes. The Perfect Duet is a super addictive, all-consuming read! If you haven’t read “The Blue Line Duet”, I highly recommend that you start with those books first, and it’s not just so that you get Colby’s full story, but also because that duet was PHENOMENAL!!

I thought Colby was a decent character in the previous series, but I didn’t fully appreciate how amazing he was until I read this duet. The thing with Meghan Quinn is she can take a character that you may not have cared for in her previous books, and completely changes your mind about them when she writes their story. Colby may have been unlucky in love before but this time unbeknownst to him, he’s got the love of two women. I knew who Colby belonged with from the start. Never for one second did I think the other women was right for him.

I’m combining my thoughts for the entire duet into this one review so that I can keep it as vague as possible. All I can tell you is that this has some seriously painful angst but it hurts so good!! I thought Meghan Quinn was the best romantic comedy author but damn can she write beautiful angst filled adult contemporary romances as well.

REVIEW – FIFTY SHADES OF GREG by

SYNOPSIS

Probably the most candid, brutally honest, and often hilarious insight ever published into sex, dating, love, and heartbreak from a man’s perspective.

Fifty Shades of Greg is a sometimes graphic first-person recounting of modern-day dating experiences during the author’s seven year stay in Italy. No fairy tales, just the brutally straight truth from a real guy. One that could sometimes be described as a hopeless romantic, and other times a flaming a**hole. (There I said it.)

First date family planners? Stalkers? Romance novel reenactors? Obsessives? Sex freaks? Runaway brides? We’ve got you covered!

Often scarcely credible, and hilarious, we navigate the insanity of one man’s “love” (sex?) life… and the slow torture of his twisted soul.

So join Greg as he exposes himself (not like that), through his thoughts and experiences. It often isn’t pretty, he’ll probably be murdered by feminists, but it sure makes for a good read!

“No, seriously, you’ll be hooked.”

“Made me smile all the way through! From a feminist point of view (like a non-man-hating-feminist… the true kind). I thought it was both hilarious and deep.”

“I’ve never read anything that made me make so many shocked faces! People on the train would ask me what I was reading.”

“I couldn’t stop reading. Made me miss my bus stop a bunch of times!”

“This is brilliant!!!! Absolutely fantastic … saying so much truth and so much that people shy away from.”

“Goes from hilariously crass to surprisingly beautiful.”

-Feedback from actual women!

Five ++++ Everything Stars*****

Whenever I read a book and it makes me feel every kind of emotion posible, I know that’s a five star read for me. And that’s what I felt while reading this book, everything.

I came across this book on my feed; read the blurb and I thought it was interesting that it a was non-fiction story, written by a man about fifty of his dating experiences. Sounds interesting right?

I love unique stories, and sometimes we simply get too much of the same. But not with this book, oh no… You have to be ready, because when you open the pages of Fifty Shades Of Greg, you will get the beautiful, the bad, and the ugly about dating. And Greg has a hilarious sense of humor that will have you laughing throughout the book.

Greg starts us off easy, we go from love, to lust at a gradual pace. His writing style feels smart, eloquent, and I might even call it familiar. I say this because the tone of the book feels comfortable like if you are hanging out at your favorite bar, listening to your friend tell you crazy stories about his dating life over drinks.

As a thirty-something-year-old woman obsessed with romance and passion, it was such a treat to learn about the way this man thinks and feels about sex and love.

You have to have an open mind when you read this book because it will be sexy, filthy, raw and one hundred percent real. This man will show us all real aspects of his experiences, inner thoughts, and personality. I thought this was extremely brave, because the truth is that he could have picked, and choose what to reveal, he could have made himself look like a prince, but he didn’t, he showed us his true self; and good for him because it made his story, one hell of a read.

I felt truly entertained, and inspired by Greg’s story. This was one of those books that had me constantly thinking about it, to the point where I didn’t want to do anything else, other than read it. I’m so very happy I stumbled upon this book.

I love discovering new authors. There are so many talented storytellers out there. Greg Archer is definitely an author whose work you want to check out. So, open up your mind, and perhaps a delicious bottle of wine, and join Greg on his crazy ride.

REVIEW – THE TRUTH ABOUT LIES (The Truth Duet#1) by Aly Martinez

SYNOPSIS

Truth: From over a thousand miles away, I watched on the screen of my phone as two men murdered my wife. And I was helpless to save her.

Consumed by hate and rage, I spent four years running from my memories.

Until a shattered woman gave me a reason to stop.

Cora lived in a nightmare, but through sheer force of will, she’d turned it into something beautiful. She had a smile that could pierce the darkest soul. And with one glance, she shredded mine.

Lie: I was only there for a fresh start.
Lie: I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
Lie: There was nothing I could do to save her, either.

But that’s the thing about lies—you never know who to believe.

*****Patty’s Review*****

*****4.5 STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

I sank down the wall, my shoulders shaking violently as sobs overtook me. They were skillfully silent. Wild, yet perfectly controlled from far too many years of practice. The sudden emotional release was agony when all I truly needed was a single second of relief. Every tear was earthshattering, all-consuming, and torn from my soul. And still, after all this time, they changed absolutely nothing. But then again, nothing ever would.

Aly Martinez is delivering another thrilling action-packed romance with crazy twists and turns that will leave you speechless by the time you get to the shocking cliffhanger. The setting of this story is dark and gritty. It’s the last place you’d expect to see an epic romance take flight but leave it to this author to be able to create an intricate tale that weaves our two tragic characters together.

There is no slow build with the plot. In the prologue, we witness along with the hero, Penn, his wife’s brutal murder and then three years later, we meet the Heroine, who lives in a dilapidated building with a bunch of prostitutes that she plays den mother to. Cora’s husband was killed during a drive-by shooting protecting her, and now her violent and corrupt in-laws force her to live in a hellish environment as punishment for Nic’s death.

When Penn and Cora meet, there is an instant attraction between them, but Penn tries hard to fight his feelings for Cora. He quickly learns that it’s a losing battle. Somehow, in the most dismal of circumstances, they are able to create their own little paradise. But in this story, nothing is as it seems and the whole time I felt a bit of anxiety because I was waiting for everything to come crashing down on the couple.

Everyone has a secret, and little truths are intermingled with huge lies. It leaves a reader wondering what is real and what isn’t. We get tiny pieces of this complicated puzzle throughout the story and by the time you get to the end, you’ll still be left trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

REVIEW – FAUXMANCE (Showmance#2) by L.H. Cosway

SYNOPSIS

In this era of social media, we all pretend.

We pretend to be prettier, happier, more confident versions of ourselves, but not Ellen Grant. She takes it to a whole other level and pretends to be someone else entirely. Adopting the persona of a woman far more interesting is the only way she can break free of the socially awkward, romantically inept girl she really is.

And it’s all going swimmingly until she catches the eye of a man at her local coffee shop. Julian Fairchild has been noticing her for a while and he’s fascinated. Little does he know, the woman he thinks he’s obsessed with is a fake.

It’s not long before the jig is up, and Julian discovers Ellen’s true identity. However, he has a proposition. If she really wants to pretend, he can introduce her to a world where she can be anyone she wants. Ellen is intrigued by the prospect, and, blind to the nature of Julian’s profession as a male escort, closes her eyes and lets him lead the way.

Can Ellen keep her feelings in check while discovering a new world of thrills and excitement? And will Julian let it show that he isn’t entertaining Ellen purely out of the goodness of his heart?

Fauxmance is a standalone contemporary romance featuring characters first seen in L.H. Cosway’s Showmance.

*****Dee’s Review*****

Five Lovely Stars*****

Ever since I read, and loved Showmance, which is book one in this series, I was dying to read Julian’s story. He is a character that was so extremely charming that I had fallen for him way back when. FauxMance is about him and a beautifully flawed heroine, both amazing characters and both incredibly broken. But together they turned love, into a super power.

Julian is a male Escort. His early childhood story is pretty dark, he’s had to overcome some very difficult situations in his life, and his physical beauty has always been both a curse and a blessing for him. After many years an an escort, Julian has found a way to more than make women feel good through sex, he makes them feel loved and cherished through wonderful dates and experiences, that not always include sex. He is that good.

Julian is obsessed with interesting people, he thrives on finding unique, and amazing individuals, and experiencing new things and feelings either through them or with them. And that’s how he becomes enthralled with Elodie and Ellen.

Elodie meets her best friend at a cafe every Tuesday to tell her about all her romantic adventures, little does she know that a beautiful stranger has been listening in on her conversations for weeks.

Elodie is a beautiful, sophisticated and super confident accountant. Her thirst for life is something to envy. And Julian simply can’t wait to meet her.

Ellen is a recluse in her own life. She’s scared to death to talk to strangers, lives in a world full of books, inside her beautiful home, with her two love-birds, hiding from the world.

One day, Julian can’t help himself and starts to follow Elodie. He’s not a stalker or anything, he’s just so intrigued with her, and specially since she’s super skittish around him. So on that day, following Elodie’s trek, instead he found Ellen. After meeting the quirky beauty, he can’t decide which one pulls him in more.

They start a beautiful, and simple friendship. But with every day that passes new feelings start to arise. Will these characters be able to be honest with each other, but most of all, with themselves, and admit to the love that is burning hot between them, and simply let it wreck them without thinking of the consequences?

This book started a tiny bit slow, and in all honesty I wasn’t sure I was going to love it as much as I did. But as usual L.H Cosway pulled me into the story like only she can. I love this sort of butterfly characters that she creates. She makes beauty so unique, different from what we are used to. And her stories are so vivid and enchanting that every, single time I read a new book by her I feel empowered, I feel loved, I feel everything.

*****FIVE+++++ STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

His hunger for me didn’t seem to abate. He made love to me in all the ways I’d been missing out on these past years, and my body was completely and totally spent. It was also waking up, unfurling like a newly sprouted flower. My feelings grew, just like I feared they would.

This story was EXQUISITE! L.H. Cosway has once again, created a world that I completely lost myself in and never wanted to leave. Her stories and characters are always so colorful and eccentric. I fell head over heels in love with Julian and Ellen’s story!

The story progression starts off a little slow but I was instantly swooning over Julian. He’s not your typical Hero, to say the least. Both Julian and Ellen are broken in different ways by traumatic experiences from their childhood. They each close themselves off to the possibility of love in their own self-destructive ways, but it’s their unlikely friendship that puts them on the path to self-awareness and healing.

When things start to heat up between Julian and Ellen, the steam is oh so decadent. L.H. knows how to keep her readers panting for more. The angst was always lying just beneath the surface. While it was plain to see for everyone else that they were madly in love with each other the couple themselves were blinded by their own insecurities.

I completely loved this story and was sad to get to the end. This is guaranteed to be a fan favorite! For those of you who haven’t read anything by this author, I highly recommend this series!! She is one of those authors whose stories you will instantly fall in love with and you’ll end up wanting to devour everything she’s ever written.

REVIEW – BRING DOWN THE STARS (Beautiful Hearts, #1) by Emma Scott

SYNOPSIS

I fell for Connor Drake. I didn’t want to; I fought against it, but I fell in love with him anyway. With his words. With his poetry. With him. The gentleness and beauty of his soul that speaks directly to mine. He writes as if he can feel my heart, hear its cadence and compose the exact right lyrics to accompany every beat and flow.

I’m in love with Connor…so why do I feel an inexplicable pull to his best friend, Weston? Grouchy, sullen, brooding Weston Turner, who could cut you down with a look. Fiercely intelligent with a razor sharp wit and acid tongue, he’s the exact opposite of Connor in every way, and yet there’s electricity in the air between us. The thorny barbs Weston wraps around himself can’t keep me away.

But the more time I spend with these men, the more tangled and confused my emotions become. When they both sign up for the Army Reserves during a time of increasing strife in the Middle East, I fear I’ll never unravel my own heart that sometimes feels as if it will tear straight down the middle…for both of them.

*****FIVE++++++ STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

I could feel Connor’s mouth lingering on mine. Or was it Weston’s? It had felt so real, both kisses. Connors, I could still feel on my mouth and body, while Weston’s, I felt somewhere deep, in the center of me…

STUNNING!!! The latest by Emma Scott is simply breathtaking! It is sure to be considered another EPIC story written by one of the most talented authors of the romance genre. I never know what kind of story I’m going to be jumping into when I pick up one of this author’s books, but I know that it’s going to touch my heart and soul, and that is what I felt by the time I finished this one. It proves how beyond talented Emma Scott is to be able to write such a magnificent story after having suffered unimaginable loss and heartbreak. I will read whatever this woman writes for as long as she continues to do so.

BRING DOWN THE STARS is a love triangle, and it’s filled with heartbreaking angst, but to not read this book would be simply a tragedy. The plot and the characters are mesmerizing. There wasn’t a thing that I didn’t love about this story. It is a modern day twist to the story of ”Cyrano de Bergerac”. Autumn is the lucky lady who is the object of affection of two best friends, Connor and Weston. While Connor saw Autumn first on campus, it was Weston who met and shared an interesting conversation with the beautiful girl soon after. Both men were instantly taken with her, but Weston backs down and keeps his feelings buried deep inside because of his love for his best friend.

Connor and Weston come from completely different worlds and are polar opposites but have been like brothers since high school. While Connor is the easy-going charmer, who wins the popularity contest wherever he goes, Weston is the quiet introvert, who most see as cold and aloof. He’s been hurt by the one person who should have loved him unconditionally and it has caused him to close himself off from people. He doesn’t see himself as being worthy of love and it’s the reason why he thinks that Connor is the better man who deserves to be with Autumn. Weston is the soulful poet who helps his buddy out with wooing the girl. While Connor is easy on the eyes and happy go lucky, he’s not good with words, and Autumn is a hopeless romantic who loves poetry and meaningful conversations. She likes Connor and is attracted to him but her heart doesn’t fall for him until she gets his poetic and beautiful words via texts and letters. But what she doesn’t know is that it’s Weston that is the author of the words that speak to her soul.

While both Heroes were incredible, my heart instantly fell for Weston. His loyalty to his best friend was extremely honorable but the pain he felt for not being able to confess his true feelings to Autumn was utterly heartbreaking. It is simply an impossible situation that these three characters are tangled up in. There isn’t a chance that any of them will walk away with their hearts unscathed.

The truth will inevitably be revealed and when that happens will they both lose the girl and the friendship that has always meant more than anything to them?

FIVE Brilliant Stars*****

This book is EVERYTHING!

This is a beautiful story about love, friendship, and sacrifice. Emma Scott with her poignant words shows us how soulmates not only come in a romantic form but sometimes in a friend.

The characters in this story will take you on a beautiful journey where friendship and love save lives.

It’s hard to say much without giving away the plot, so you are just going to have to trust me when I tell you that you really do want to read this book. Like any other Emma Scott novel, her vivid words are something you can feel, and will remember forever. The angst is very high but so is the romance, and I simply didn’t want this book to end, ever….

Each character plays an important part in the beautiful puzzle that is this story. I’ll be counting down the days until we get the next book.

REVIEW – BLIND KISS by Renee Carlino

SYNOPSIS

From the national bestselling author of Before We Were StrangersSwear on this Life, and Wish You Were Here comes a powerful story of two people who spend years denying their scientifically proven chemistry.

Penny spends her afternoons sitting outside a sandwich shop, surrounded by ghosts. Fourteen years ago, this shop was her childhood dance studio—and she was a dancer on the rise. Now she’s a suburban housewife, dreading the moment her son departs for MIT, leaving her with an impeccably decorated McMansion and a failing marriage. She had her chance at wild, stars-in-her-eyes happiness, but that was a lifetime ago. After The Kiss. Before The Decision.

The Kiss was soulful. Magical. Earth-shattering. And it was all for a free gift card. Asked to participate in a psych study that posed the question, “Can you have sexual chemistry without knowing what the other person looks like?” Penny agreed to be blindfolded, make polite conversation with a total stranger, and kiss him. She never expected The Kiss to change her life forever and introduce her to Gavin: tattooed, gorgeous, and spontaneous enough to ask her out seconds after the blindfolds came off.

For a year, they danced between friendship and romance—until Penny made The Decision that forced them to settle for friendship. Now, fourteen years later, both of their lives are about to radically change—and it’s his turn to decide what will become of their once-in-a-lifetime connection.

Penny and I still had a spark that couldn’t be snuffed out. All the plans I’d drawn for the life I thought we’d have together were playing out in some parallel universe. Even if I was stuck in this stupid version of us, where she was encouraging me to go out with other women, I knew there was a Penny and Gavin living as a couple out there, right along beside us.

Renee Carlino has a knack for writing some of the most angst-filled stories I’ve ever read, and I almost always hate her Heroines. That was certainly the case with Penny. I think I was angry the entire time I read this book but also had trouble putting it down. When a story makes me feel emotions so strongly, I know that it’s well written. I almost threw my iPad against the wall but overall I was thoroughly entertained.

It’s hard to categorize this story. It could be considered a love triangle but in all honesty from the moment Gavin and Penny met, you know right away that they’re meant for each other and that anyone who comes between them is just a temporary distraction. While Penny and Gavin label each other ”best-friends”, there is no doubt that they were lovers from the start. These two were so wrapped up in each other and obviously head over heels in love, it’s just Penny’s stupidity that drove the wedge between them. I spent almost the entire length of the book thoroughly disgusted with Penny. I thought she was extremely selfish and Gavin was just a little too good to be true. While the chemistry between Gavin and Penny was palpable, it almost seemed like their relationship was more toxic than healthy.

The whole tone of the story was depressing. I couldn’t wait to be finished reading this one, just to shake the gloomy feelings off.

REVIEW – BOY TOY (Man Hands, #3) by Sarina Bowen & Tanya Eby

SYNOPSIS

A brand new romantic comedy from your favorite snort-laughing duo!

Liam

The moment Sadie Matthews walks through the daycare center door, I feel my world tilt in her direction. Again. I fell for her when I was fourteen, and I’m still not over her. Problem: she still thinks of me as a teen she used to babysit. But I’ve learned a few things about pleasing a woman in the last fifteen years. I can’t wait to show her how good it could be. I need to move quickly before I lose her again. This is more than a game to me, but I still plan to win.

Sadie

I’ve just survived the worst year of my life. As a single mom of twin toddlers, I don’t have time for a man. I barely have time to finish a thought. Who knew that Liam McAllister would grow up to be so devastating? He’s everything my husband was not: tall, built, and willing to have a tea party with my girls.

I can’t possibly get involved with him. He’s too young for me. Too handsome. But he’s so persuasive…

I kiss her once before heading back out to the deck. She tastes like crisp wine and a hint of spice. She tastes like everything I ever wanted.

BOY TOY, the third installment of the ”Man Hands” series was filled with numerous laugh out loud moments, steam, and even some heart-aching angst. The pace of the story flowed smoothly, so much that never once did I feel that I wasn’t completely entertained. I was fully engaged with the plot and loved most of the characters.

I love a romance between an older woman and a younger man. The age difference isn’t really that huge. Sadie is six years older than Liam. What makes them seem worlds apart is the fact that Sadie used to babysit Liam and his younger siblings when he was fourteen, and she’s also a single mother to precocious twin daughters. But we learn quickly that Liam is more than just a pretty face with a hot body. This guy is every woman’s dream come true. I honestly felt that he was the star of this story.

We are given both Sadie and Liam’s POVs through alternating chapters. Liam was such an amazing character and I was rooting for him to finally get the woman of his dreams the entire time, and I loved his relationship with little Kate and Amy. While Sadie was a frustrating character at times, I understood her hesitance to take a chance with her heart again.
