I thought the flow of the story was perfect and the chemistry between Wes and Jane was white hot! They were each other’s first loves and when circumstances took them in different directions it resulted in their breakup and shattered hearts. Ten years later, they’re forced to work together every day when Wes gets drafted on the very NFL team that Jane is the assistant manager for.

 

 

Have the years apart healed the broken pieces of Jane’s heart enough that she can trust Wes enough to give him a second chance? Will things turn out differently this time or is history doomed to repeat itself?

Propping up on his elbows, he takes my face in his hands and strokes my cheeks with his thumbs before ever so softly brushing light kisses across my face. There is nothing urgent about them, just a reassurance that he’s here in my arms, filling every fantasy I’ve ever had. And this will most likely be the end of me, because this is the Rome I saw, the Rome no one else could see. Sensitive, sweet, and loving. Intense.

 

 

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book because I love Meghan Quinn and I mean, did you take a look at this cover? I was in full on cover lust mode! I only wish that I had loved the story as much as I loved the cover. I liked it but it was missing that ”wow” factor that I’ve come to expect from Meghan Quinn’s books.

Romances between the sexy but abrasive boss and his cute and feisty as hell employee can be very entertaining reads. I can think of several that have a place on my favorites shelf but for whatever reason, this story was just missing that spark of something special for me. I thought it was enjoyable at times, but I didn’t feel a connection to Rome and Peyton. Rome wasn’t a charismatic hero to me. I wished he had a little bit of a humorous personality like his buddy Hunter.

 

 

 

I don’t want to make it seem like the book was horrible. There were times that I really enjoyed reading it. But I was expecting perfection and that is not what I got from this story. While it might not have been a five-star read for me, it very well might be a huge hit for you.

This book was amazing from start to finish. The characters, the plot, the writing style, everything, utter perfection. Samantha Young will make you dream and search through all airports for a sexy, brooding Scotsman just like Caleb.

 

 

Caleb and Ava met at the airport and it wasn’t a pleasant meeting. Both have been dealing with a lot, plus the stress of flying, they pretty much hated each other on sight.

People say there’s a very fine line between hate and love, and these two characters have a burning passion when it comes to either feeling, especially for one another.

The funny thing is they thought they would never have to see each other again after their airport experience, but the universe had other plans for them, and they do certainly see each other again. And they’ll explore exactly how hot they can burn together.

I love the interaction between all the characters. This book was more than a romance, it was a story about friendship, about forgiveness and acceptance. It covered so many emotions that I grew addicted to it. I’m really hoping there will be another book, for Harper, Ava’s best friend.

Amazing book. Samantha Young really nailed it with this one. Definitely going on my 2018 favorites reading shelf.

It was though I couldn’t get him deep enough, close enough. As though I needed him to lock some piece of me back into place, a piece of me I’d lost when he left.

 

 

This story was INCREDIBLE!!! It brought back all of the ”feels” I got when I first read ”On Dublin Street”! I have fallen in love with Samantha Young all over again! Caleb and Ava are destined to become Samantha’s next power couple! I predict that readers are going to fall head over heels in love with them and their story! Once you pick this book up, I promise you, it will be quite impossible to put down! The angst is gut-wrenching and torturous. I literally was hyperventilating last night from anxiety. There were even a few moments that I screamed my lungs out from my exasperation with Caleb, but there’s no denying he is one FABULOUS and SWOON WORTHY Hero!! Get ready ladies, Caleb Scott will ruin you!!!

 

 

FIGHT OR FLIGHT is ”Enemies-to Lovers” at its best. If you want to see how it’s done properly, you need to read this book!! Caleb and Ava are characters who will steal a permanent piece of your hearts. Their chemistry is overpowering and their banter is so entertaining. I will admit that the angst in this book is so intense that it’s at times, painful but it hurt oh so good!

 

 

I know that a book is truly special when I fall hard for the Heroine and I truly loved Ava Breevort! I hoped that she would get the happily ever after that only a princess in a fairy tale can achieve because that’s how special this character was to me. I wouldn’t mind it if Ms. Young wrote a couple more books for this charismatic couple!! I seriously am not kidding when I say this book is on par with ”On Dublin Street”!! Ladies, you need to bump this up on your TBRs!!!

This story had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down nor could I stop feeling deep anxiety, wondering how Ash was ever going to be able to live her life happily without always having to look over her shoulder for impending danger. I truly love Katy Regnery’s dark romances and I think she’s amazing for donating a part of her profits to good causes. 5% of the gross profits from the ebook and paperback sales of this title from now and throughout October, will be donated to the “Women’s Center of Greater Danbury”, helping women and children of that area who are seeking refuge from abusive circumstances.

But in the final seconds before I surrendered to the darkness, it was her face that flashed before me—my angel, my every breath, my life.

 

 

The conclusion to the ”Every Breath” duet has London placed right back in the middle of what would seem to be another love triangle. Her relationship with Sam is blissful and they’re both completely swept up in their feelings for each other, but just when things couldn’t get any better, London’s Ex-Husband decides to resurface after having been out of her life for over a year.

Hunter wants another chance with London and he’s got a secret that could wind up ending things between her and Sam. There was so much potential to make this an extremely angsty love triangle but I felt that the author missed the mark. There was never really a competition between Sam and Hunter. The author made Sam out to be this perfect man with hardly any flaws and Hunter was a hot mess. The playing field was not equal. It’s crystal clear as to who is the best man for London. Honestly, I don’t even think she was good enough for Sam. The fact that everyone could see how much in love Sam was with London, but she didn’t have a clue the entire length of their friendship seemed pretty preposterous to me. Women usually aren’t that clueless.

Towards the end of the story, I could sense that the author had a lot of ideas for the plot progression but wasn’t able to tie it all together perfectly. The story was good but it could have been amazing.

I feel like this entire review should be lighted up, or written in neon lights. That’s how much energy is radiating from my body, after reading this book. I loved this book, I live for it. It was the perfect storm of exceptional writing style, a gripping plot and the promise of more deliciousness to come. Bravo T.M Frazier, and for the love of God, write faster so I can continue enjoying the Perversion.

I’m feeling completely delirious… I need more!

I love discovering new authors, and I especially love it when the book turns out to be amazing. C.J Martín’s writing style is very unique, it has a lot of heart, and it’s impossible not to feel it traveling through your senses, like a beautiful song.

I found Touching Down to be a very heartwarming story. The characters and the story had many layers, and as I read I found myself falling in love with both the story and the author.

 

 

 

Jax is a college football star. He lives and breathes football, nothing else matters to him. Until one day, he meets a beautiful girl inside the men’s locker room. Jax is not one to be obsessed or to be unexplainable interested in girls; only because they throw themselves at him on the daily, but this girl is different and he can’t wait to find out more about her.

Brooklyn is an artist, and she’s been commissioned a project with the school’s football team. She much rather be home, eating junk food and watching Netflix than to be painting for a bunch of hot jocks, but her teacher is practically forcing her to complete this project. When she meets Jax Walker and then he shows interest in her, she can hardly believe it, the man is a walking work of art, but even if she believed or accepted his advances, she could never be with him, her dark secrets would never let her.

Little by little Jax breaks down Brooklyn’s walls, but once he discovers her dark truths will he stay, or would he leave her broken-hearted just like everyone else in her life?

I loved everything about this book, I was so pleasantly surprised to have loved it as much as I did. The writing style of this author is superb, her story craft impeccable and the characters totally unforgettable. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to all my friends.

There’s nothing easy about being so terrified of losing them, you’ll make a thousand wrong decisions before you figure out that risking everything is the only right one.

 

 

PROFESSOR FEELGOOD is an angsty frenemies-to-lovers romance that will take you on a wild roller coaster ride of emotions. I wasn’t expecting this story to tug at my heart the way that it did. The characters are compelling and their path to an HEA was anything but easy, but they will learn that the love from your one true soul mate is worth taking the biggest risk of your life.

 

 

The story is told entirely in Asha’s point of view. She’s the younger sister of Eden, who was the heroine in ”MISTER ROMANCE”. Having the story in only Asha’s voice made it even more angsty because she wasn’t a Heroine that was in tune with her feelings. She kept a lot of her emotions bottled up and avoided facing the truth as her protection mechanism. I wanted so much to get inside of Jake’s head. He was the character who wasn’t afraid to deal with the hard stuff, but I know that the author did this so that there was still a good amount of mystery present throughout the plot development.

 

 

Asha has never been able to be in a committed relationship for more than a few months because of her deeply rooted insecurities and no man has measured up to the impossible standards she has in her head. If she is ever going to find love, she’s going to have to do some intense soul searching and take the biggest risk of all by admitting what’s always been in her heart. Can she do this before she ends up losing Jake once more?
