A sinful boss secretary romance.

I’ve heard all the rumours: He killed his wife. He’s on house arrest. He’s a vampire. Yet still, when I get a job offer from the reclusive Mr. Hyde, I jump at the chance. Yes, I know I’m crazy.

I’m cautious at first, but then I discover a beautiful, quirky man. I also see a tortured soul who lives in darkness. I know I should run, yet I can’t tear myself away. I want to discover all his secrets. I desperately want to help him. And when he draws me deeper into his strange little world, I want to stay.

Author’s Note: Loving Ruby contains explicit sexual scenes and some coarse language. It is Book 2 of The Riverstone series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. If one wants to read the entire series, it is best to read them in chronological order to avoid spoilers.

*****Dee’s Review*****

5+++ Ruby Stars******

Loving Ruby is three hundred and eight pages of delicious decadence. The perfect romance; one that you do not want to miss.

Ruby Riverstone is a sweet and vivacious young woman. She has the dream and the talent to write and illustrate children’s books, but she is having a little bit of a tough time with the execution. She’s been helping her sister Amber with the family business, they have a B& B, and as much as Ruby loves being part of the family business, her heart is just not in it. Her big sister and best friend Amber, know that Ruby is not feeling fulfilled working at the house so she practically forces Ruby to quit and go find something that will actually make her happy.

Very quickly Ruby finds the perfect job as a writer’s PA, but she is a little hesitant to accept the position when she finds out that the job is actually very close to her home. Right across the street from Ruby there’s a beautiful but very spooky house, where a strange and unknown man resides. A man the whole town has been talking about ever since he bought the sinister estate right across from Ruby’s family’s property. Is he a murderer, a gangster, or a vampire? Nobody knows for sure, but Ruby is about to find out.

August Hyde turns out to be a gorgeous and hugely successful erotica writer. He experienced a terrible tragedy that has made him a prisoner inside his own house. August hasn’t seen the light of day for the past two years. He spends his days lost in a world of erotic stories and grief. His new assistant Ruby will come in and break through all the darkness with her beautiful light, impossible to resist.

Ruby and August will find in each other everything they need but didn’t even know they wanted. A fierce and sensual romance will ignite between them, breaking through all the walls built by the fear in their lives.

Roya Carmen is a master at creating unique stories, her boldness and creativity produce incredible journeys that make the reader’s heart and soul feel full with excitement. Loving Ruby I must admit, has been my most, absolute favorite book by this author. Both characters in this story took a deep hold of my heart and my emotions. Ruby was the perfect heroine, she was so bright, smart, and funny. And Mr. Hyde was alluring and sexy, in other words, these two characters were absolute perfection to me. Indulge in the pages of this amazing story, one I am sure you will never forget.

Mr. Hyde will see you now…
