Things a bad neighbor can do to you:

1. Have loud parties late at night

2. Refuse to mow his lawn

3. Steal your newspapers

4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it

Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she’d been missing out on – sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.

Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places – like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.

Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.

Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and quite possibly enough confusion to drive a normal person insane. Reader discretion is advised.

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since … forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there’s your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

It was no joke.

Liam had been waiting in the lobby for her at nine o’clock, sharp. Liam Edenhoff – “but everyone calls me Eden” – he’d introduced himself again to her before guiding her out to a taxi he’d had waiting.

She felt a little nauseous. She’d chugged down another half bottle of wine, and some crème de menthe, before heading downstairs to meet him. She’d almost talked herself out of going, but she’d made the mistake of telling her roommate Tori about the whole fiasco. Apparently, Katya owed it to women everywhere (and Tori in particular) to explore this opportunity to its fullest. She’d all but been shoved out the apartment, the door slammed and locked in her face.

“Nervous?” Liam Eden-whatever-his-name-was asked her as the cab slowed to a crawl.

“Nope,” Katya’s voice sounded overly loud.

“Liar. Tonight is gonna be an interesting night, angel cake.”

“Stop calling me that.”

“What’s your last name?”

“None of your business.”

“Okay then – when the gang bang starts, I’ll tell them to call you Katya X.”

She couldn’t stop the blush from happening that time. Liam burst out laughing, then soothed the sting by grabbing her hand.

Even when they got out of the cab, he didn’t let go of her. Normally, she would’ve been uncomfortable with a stranger assuming such a familiarity with her, but this time, she was thankful for it. She held onto him tightly as they walked down a crowded street. Then they turned into an alley, and his gang bang joke didn’t seem so funny. He led her to a plain door, above which a simple, small, neon sign spelled out “The Garden”. Outside were several small groups of people, chatting and smoking. Some of them called out greetings to him, all of them using his nickname, but a large and scary looking bouncer addressed him very properly.

“Hey, Mr. Edenhoff, wasn’t expecting you in tonight. Any problems?”

“Nope, just bringing a friend to show her the place, let her see what I do for a living.”

All the blood was quickly rushing from Katya’s limbs, pooling somewhere in her stomach. None of this was a joke. He really did own the place, that much was obvious.

As Liam led her through the door, though, Katya actually felt a surge of confidence. She was still nervous, still more than a little scared, but she was okay with it. Liam seemed like a nice guy, he wasn’t going to take her into some dark room and insert foreign objects into her orifices. She could leave whenever she wanted to, whenever it got too uncomfortable. Everything was fine, and for once, she was doing something exciting. She’d een have something interesting to talk about at work the next day.

Finally.

*****Dee’s Review*****

FIVE STARS*****

(ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review)

Way better than just borrowing a cup of sugar from your sexy neighbor. If you’ve read a Stylo Fatôme book you know her stories are always sexy, mysterious and perhaps a little bit weird, which is why I’ll forever need her books in my life. This author always brings it up a notch, and Neighbors was one hell of an entertaining, crazy ride.

20644470-_sy540_

Katya Tocci lives a pretty boring life. Her focus for years has been on her career as a baker. She’s not a risk taker. She’s a good wholesome girl, who’s always doing the right thing. It’s been quite a while since her last relationship, so her best friend/roommate has convinced Katya to create an online dating profile in order to meet someone new. Her crazy roommate embellished Katya’s profile a bit, and soon she catches the interest of a sexy man who happens to be her neighbor.

Liam aka Eden lives in the building next to Katya’s, he’s noticed her before because she’s gorgeous but he never approached her due to her frumpy librarian look, thinking he’s too wild for her. But after reading her sexy profile he’s decided to invite her out to his club.

“Tacos. Noon. You’re a sexy beast.”

Katya is tired of people reading her so easily. She’s tired of the same old boring girl she’s become, so when her sexy neighbor Liam invites her to a sex club, against all of her instincts she decides to go. Katya is ready to discover new things and embrace her inner, dark desires and Liam is the perfect man to help her.

20644471-_sy540_

While Katya is on this journey of indulgence , Wulf, her childhood neighbor also makes a re-appearance in her life. She used to have a huge crush on him, and now years later, Wulf is looking better than ever.

Katya can’t believe her luck, a week ago her colorless life consisted of going from home to work, and now there’s two gorgeous, and successful men wanting to spend time with her, making her feel and do things, she never even knew existed. She’s walking a dangerous path that is exhilarating, but what happens when she reaches the end of the road? Will she lose herself between love and lust, and will she be able to recognize the difference between the two?

This story is so much more than a love triangle, so much more than a romantic story, just so much more than you’ll ever expect. Neighbors is a story as smooth and dangerous as a sword, as decadent and as rich as a vintage wine. Stylo Fatôme will tease your senses, and play with your emotions, leaving you dying, desperate for more.

You open my eyes and widen my boundaries. He makes me contract. My eyes only see him and he’s my only boundary. You’re both just so … different. Completely different, in what you do for me, and how you make me feel.”

Stylo Fantome has been on my radar for some time now. I kept seeing all these fabulous reviews for her books and my Bestie devours her books. When I saw the blurb forNEIGBORS, I figured now’s the time to try this author out. Well, one thing is for sure, Stylo can write some prettySCORCHING HOT sexy time scenes. There are a plethora of them within the pages of this book!! This is a love triangle but in all honesty, the people involved are single and no commitments have ever been made. The heroine makes both men aware that she is having relations with the two of them. So those who don’t like triangles can actually read this one.

neighbors-teaser-2-used-1

Katya Tocci is a young woman who lives a very dull and ordinary existence. At the urging of her roommate, she joins an online dating site in order to spice things up a bit. Her profile catches the eye of her very gorgeous neighbor, Liam Edenhoff. Liam has seen Katya around but never approached her because she appeared to be virginal and dresses like a librarian. He’s completely surprised by her racy online profile and decides to pursue her. The two end up making plans to meet up at his sex club. Katya agrees to go only because she wants to prove to Liam that she is not the demure woman that he has made her out to be in his head, but Katya really is quite innocent and this is taking her way out of her comfort zone. Now here’s where my eyes were rolling!! They end up having sex in a booth, right out in the open for all the club goers to see. To top it all off, she even has anal sex for the first time in said booth!!!! I’m not sure that a woman who has never lived life on the wild side before would partake in such overtly sexual escapades!! I started to get mildly irritated with the number of times the heroine mentions having anal sex with Liam! It felt like not a day could go by where she wasn’t mentioning it or thinking of it.

The next day, Katya runs into an old crush from her past in the bakery that she works at. At first, it seems as if Wulfric Stone doesn’t even recognize her but he soon is ordering her to meet him later on for dinner. This man was the unattainable boy next door from Katya’s childhood. Wulf is several years older and never paid her any attention back in the day but he was definitely the star of all of her romantic fantasies. Wulf is still devastatingly handsome, an alpha male to the extreme, and never really shows Katya what’s going on inside his heart.

neighbors-teaser-excerpt

Katya carries on relationships with both men but it is obvious who holds her heart and whom she only sees as being a really good friend. I definitely was on Team Wulf!! Men who act like assholes usually do it for me in books!! As time goes on Katya feels that she can’t keep things going with two men. Her conscience is eating away at her.

I struggled for a while with this book because I didn’t like the Heroine so much. I kept thinking of her as a doormat. But once I got to the 72% mark, I was HOOKED!!!! The story gets very intense. I was laughing, then swooning, and by the end I was furious!!! I just need to know what happens next after one hell of a cliffhanger we are left with!!!!

EXCERPT REVEAL – NEIGHBORS by Stylo Fantome

neighbors_excerpt

Excerpt

“Not what I was expecting. You impress me,” he said to her, his voice low.
“I’m flattered. I get the feeling there isn’t much you’ve seen that impresses you,” she said.
“Katya,” he whispered, and she shivered. He so rarely said her first name. “I’ve never seen anything like you.”
Words like that, and he didn’t need to make any deals. He’d barely finished talking, and she was all over him. His assistant was somewhere in the building, Katya was positive the conference room door wasn’t locked, and she didn’t care at all. Not even one little bit.
She sat down in his lap with such force that his chair rolled backwards, threatening to tip over. She was able to kiss him once, but then his hands were in her hair, yanking her away.
“Ah, but this is supposed to be a punishment, remember? Who said you could kiss me?” he said, and she felt him nipping at the side of her neck.
“Please, I don’t want to – AH!” she ended in a shriek when he bit so hard, she wondered if he broke skin.
“Dissension. Tsk tsk, Ms. Tocci. You’re on a roll tonight. Get off me.”
She wasn’t given a chance to comply. He pulled harder on her hair, and she was forced to follow his hand. She slid off his lap and managed to get her feet under her, still moving with him as he stood up.
Katya was dragged across the room and pressed up against the floor-to-ceiling window. She gulped at the feeling of cold glass on her hot skin, then moaned when she felt his lips on the back of her neck. She wasn’t sure what had gotten into him – their last time together, he hadn’t been so aggressive. Maybe she was seeing a new side to him. Or the real him.
Very pleased to meet you, Mr. Stone.
“Please,” she said again, pushing her hips away from the window and rubbing her ass against his crotch. “Please, I need you.”
“Hmmm, that’s nice, but I don’t think that’s what you mean,” he whispered. As he kissed his way down her spine, his hand slowly slid out of her hair and crept over the back of her neck.
“Please, Wulf.”
“’Please, Wulf’. She begs so sweetly, yet still can’t get what she wants.”
His free hand was at her hip, yanking and pulling at her underwear. Shoving them down, letting them fall to her ankles. Leaving her in only her bra.
“Please.”
She could feel his suit against her bare skin as he stood upright, and his hand slid around her neck, gently wrapping around her throat. She gasped as she was pulled back, her spine forced to arch as her head was drawn into his shoulder. She planted her palms against the window and started panting while his other hand moved across her stomach.
“Please what?”
“I want …”
The hand on her throat squeezed tighter, the hand on her stomach moved lower, but neither pushed her over the edge she was so desperately seeking. She stood on the balls of her feet, almost crying from the tension running through her body.
“If you can’t even say what you fucking want,” he growled, his breath hot against her face. “I don’t know why I should bother giving it to you.”
“Please, I want you to fuck me,” she whispered. The chuckle she heard sounded more like a growl, and she moaned when she felt his tongue against her ear.
“What was that? I couldn’t quite hear you,” he hissed.
“Just fuck me,” she hissed right back.
“Just fuck you? That’s it? My, your demands are so very simple.”
Alright, Wulfric. You win.
“Please, Wulf,” she purred, placing one of her hands over his own and moving it down between her legs. “Fuck me right now. Right here. Against this window. Fuck me so hard, people down on the street will hear me screaming your name.”
She’d never spoken like that before, to anyone. She briefly wondered if it was too much. If she sounded ridiculous. But then he was slamming his dick into her, and she realized it wasn’t too much at all.
Jesus, I should’ve been talking like this years ago.
“I thought that was going to take you all fucking night,” he groaned as he bucked his hips against her. Slow and gentle certainly wasn’t on the menu that night – he just instantly started fucking her like it was his job. She couldn’t even respond. Could barely breathe. He was pounding the air from her lungs, and the hand on her throat was ensuring she couldn’t suck any of it back in.
“See what happens when you do as I ask? You get rewarded,” he panted, finally moving his hands. She gulped in air greedily and managed to nod.
“Yes. Yes, thank you. God, thank you so much,” she moaned. He gripped her hips and yanked them further away from the glass, forcing her to bend at almost a right angle. The new position enabled him to fuck her even harder, something she hadn’t thought was possible. She shrieked with every thrust, her hands beating against the window.
“So polite. So sweet. Katya Tocci, best fucking dessert I’ve ever had.”
She shrieked again as she was whirled around. She thought she was going to fall over, the position she was in wasn’t favorable when competing against gravity, but she didn’t have to worry. Wulf always had a plan. She was slammed down against the conference table top. She pressed her cheek to the hard wood and let out a long groan when his hips started banging against her, over and over.
“The best. God, you’re the best,” she was whispering. Babbling, unsure even of what exactly she was saying. She had her arms stretched out to the sides, gripping the edges of the table, but he roughly grabbed her right arm and jerked it back.
“Touch yourself,” he commanded, lifting her hips enough so she could work her hand between them and the table.
“Oh my god.”
One press of her fingertips, and she shot off like a starter pistol. Screamed as an orgasm rocked every single nerve ending. She went to pull her hand away so she could bathe in the sensations, but Wulf’s hand flattened over her own, his fingers working above hers. She whimpered and cried out as wave after wave of pleasure coursed through her. Became too much for her. Overwhelmed her. Yet still, he wrung more out of her, his fingers pressing even harder. It wasn’t until she was lifting her feet off the ground, her free hand pounding on the table top, begging him for mercy, that he let her go.
And immediately, she missed his touch.
Before she could beg him to start all over again, though, he had his own orgasm. He came with a shout, dragging his nails down her back before grabbing onto her hips. Digging his fingers into her flesh. While he throbbed inside of her, bruises throbbed on the outside of her, and every nerve ending throbbed within her.
“Holy shit, Tocci,” he panted, and she felt him lean forward. Felt his forehead against her back.
“You … you were … that was incredible,” she whispered, still finding it hard to breathe.
“I know.”
“Jesus, it was like you were angry at me.”
“I was – your little strip tease from earlier pissed me off. How dare you keep something so wonderfully inappropriate from me.”
She managed a laugh.
“Duly noted. Next time I learn a new trick, I’ll share it with you immediately.”

**Enjoy a sneak peek into Law’s book!!!**

LAW.

Helicopters.

The sound of rotor blades haunted him. Sometimes, they were deafening. He could be standing in a crowded market in Bangkok, and all he would hear is womp womp womp.

Kingsley had joined the military at the tender age of seventeen. Some forged paperwork and a couple fake IDs, and he got right in – he knew punishment and discovery was inevitable, but none of it could be as bad as his home life. His step-father took discipline very seriously, and though Kingsley had been over six feet tall since Year Six, he was a string bean. Putting on weight was impossible for him, even though he ate like a horse. His step-father was a local boxing champion, a skill he liked to use often to prove his points.

The military could provide an income, schooling, a chance to travel, and most importantly – would teach him how to properly defend himself. How to make sure no one could ever treat him like that again.

What he’d never expected, though, was to take to it like a duck to water. He’d signed up for simple infantry, but showed such an aptitude for marksmanship, he was moved up through the ranks to sniper quickly. By the time it was discovered that he’d lied about his age, no one cared. He was too good at his job.

And not just shooting. He took to almost everything well. A childhood love for Aikido stayed with him, and he became a high degree black belt. His aptitude for stealth and his above average intellect caused his higher ups to push him towards the intelligence side of the military. He was introduced to the wonders that were SIS – formerly MI6. British intelligence and secret service.

He traveled all over the world. Received training – and gave it – at prestigious places like Quantico and Langley, did tours all over Europe.

Then the war on terror went to a whole new level. At the time, Kingsley had been part of an elite group of soldiers and special agents that were concentrating on gathering information about Al Qaeda. They were instructed to use “any means necessary” – a work ethic that would prove to stick with him later in life.

They were stationed in Afghanistan, operating primarily out of Camp Bastion. It was conjoined with an American military base, the famed Camp Leatherneck. There was a lot of good-natured rivalry going on between the two bases, and while Kingsley enjoyed the rowdy Americans, he kept to himself for the most part.

Obviously, there was an airfield at the base, and all manner of airplanes and jets were taking off, all the time. But for some reason, the helicopters stood out the most for him. He enjoyed helicopters, had received training on several models, and liked to fly in them.

One day, he returned from a fact finding mission and he’d been walking across the base when a Westland Lynx helicopter had flown low over him. A little unusual. He’d lifted his eyes to watch it, squinting in the setting sun, totally not paying attention to anything going on in front of him.

Watch it!

But the warning came too late. He rammed into someone, completely bowling them over. He came to a stop, looking down at his feet.

“Sorry.”

She was tiny. Even sprawled out on the ground, he could tell; being somewhat of a giant, he was a good judge of size. He bent down and held out his hand, and though she glared at him, she took it and pulled herself to her feet. He smiled to himself. The pixie in front of him would be lucky if she was even brushing five-foot-two.

“Do you always walk around without looking where you’re going?” she snapped, dusting herself off. She had an American accent and was wearing a white lab coat over faded green scrubs.

“Only when I feel like making new friends,” he teased. She glanced up at him, then went back to cleaning herself off.

“Pity it didn’t work this time.”

“Oh, I don’t know. I’m feeling very friendly.”

“Watch it, soldier. I outrank you.”

“Different countries, love, doesn’t count. We’re technically peers. Fancy a drink?”

No. Now get out of my way.”

He laughed as she pushed past him. She was little, but feisty. He wondered what her gig was, what had brought her to Afghanistan.

“The name’s Law!” he yelled out at her form as she hurried across the pavement.

“Good for you!”

“And you are!?”

“Someone who doesn’t want to be your friend!”

He laughed until she’d disappeared from sight.

I have mermaid hair – both a curse and a blessing – and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can’t understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

The Bad Ones ebook cover

Synopsis

Love isn’t always bright and shiny.

Sometimes, it’s dirty and wrong, buried six feet deep in a secret place where only wild things dare to go. Hidden behind a big black curtain that covers things no one should ever see.

Sometimes it happens between two people who should never be allowed to come together. One who is a match, and the other who just happens to be gasoline.

One strike is all it takes to burn the whole world down, and that’s exactly what they plan on doing.

Even if it kills them.

warning: this book contains graphic sex, extremely brutal violence, bad language, and people repeatedly and knowingly breaking the law.

Excerpt

Con finally unlocked the doors and she hefted herself into the massive vehicle. They sat in silence for a while, their breath fogging up the glass. Then he opened his mouth.

“Did he touch you?”

Dulcie knew he wasn’t asking about the homeless man.

“Not in any way that counts,” she replied, turning to look at him. His hands had moved to grip the steering wheel.

“So he has touched you.”

“Jared was just an experiment, I wanted to see if -”

“You let him fucking touch you.”

You fucking left me!” she was suddenly screaming. He didn’t even flinch, just gripped the steering wheel harder. “You fucking left me in this fucking town, without a goddamn goodbye! Without a goddamn word! God, you have no idea what it’s been like. That fucking camera, all those drawings. And there’s all these people, and talking, and feeling this way, and all the blackness, and I don’t even know what’s wrong with me, and nothing. You come back, and it’s like nothing to you. Oh hey, Dulcie. Where’s your sketchbook, Dulcie. Come to a party, Dulcie. Let me just fuck this chick in the woods, Dulcie. So you know what? Yeah, he fucking touched me. I let him fucking touch me. And I hated every minute of it, and I would pretend it was you, and I would hate you, and I would hate myself, and I just let it happen.

Con lunged across the seat, and absurdly, her first thought was “wow, he’s really fast” before his fingers wrapped around her throat. She wasn’t fazed, though, and she pushed right back, slapping him across the face. This only caused him to clench both hands around her neck and he yanked her forward, dragging her to him so their faces were only inches apart.

“Stupid little Dulcie,” he whispered, his breath hot against her lips. She held onto his wrists and glared at him, but didn’t try to pull away. His fingers got tighter. “So scared of the big bad wolf.”

“I’m not … scared of you,” she managed to gasp out, but then his grip grew so tight he completely cut off her oxygen.

“Of course you aren’t scared of me. I’m not the wolf. You are.”

So that’s what was hiding behind the curtain. I wish you’d told me sooner, Con. We could’ve reveled in our darkness together.

It felt like a weight was lifted off her back. She’d been pretending for so long, and she hadn’t even realized it. Had conditioned herself to do it. It was easier to believe Con was the darkness, and she was simply drawn to it. Basking in his wake. But it was all a lie – she was every bit as dark as him. They were the same animal. She’d just been better at deceiving herself. And now they’d evolved into something else, into a new, higher being.

Her lungs were throbbing, screaming for oxygen. She could feel her pulse pounding behind her face. Her mouth was open, but she couldn’t make a sound. Black spots danced in front of her eyes, yet still they stared at each other. Recognizing each other, maybe for the first time ever.

Maybe for the last time.

What a way to die, looking into the face of this beautiful boy. What a gift.

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since …, forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball – I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I’m clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink. FIVE DARK and BEAUTIFUL STARS**************

(ARC kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review)

I’m rating this book five stars but I wish I could really rate it 100,000!!!! I COULD HAVE READ THIS BOOK FOREVER AND EVER.

The Bad Ones is such a complex and unpredictable story, and it takes the reader to a whole new level of excitement and thrill. The sex, the love and the depravity that shaped this novel was so lively, I felt as if I was reading it with 3D glasses.

Constantine Masters and Dulcie Travers are not your typical MCs. They knew each other in passing through school. He was the popular sports Jock and she was the introverted artsy girl, but one fateful afternoon their paths crossed and when they looked into each other’s eyes they saw the reflection of their own dark souls.

They both felt like they didn’t belong in the world that surrounded them, but when they are together and it’s just the two of them and they own the world.

I really don’t want to say more because the best thing about this story was its unpredictability, the thrill of not knowing what Dulcie and Con were going to do next made my blood sizzle and my heart was almost beating out of my chest. The Bad Ones is probably one of the most outrageous and electrifying books I’ve read in a long, long time.

Don’t just take my word for it, don’t wait, don’t hesitate;READ THIS BOOK!!!! I loved getting lost inside the pages of this beautifully dark story. Stylo Fantome’s words were intoxicating and so arousing to every single one of my senses and I really wish that everyone I know, gets to experience the amazing craziness that is The Bad Ones. Being bad never felt so good….
