Vaughn West is a gorgeous, successful 29 yr. old movie star in LA. He’s from Keno, Oregon & has a wonderful family he’s very close to. He also has a girlfriend who turns his world upside down when he learns she’s having an affair with his best friend of ten years. He feels betrayed & stupid, and as a result, goes off the deep end for a while giving the press plenty to talk about. He’s partying & hooking up with actresses & supermodels. His manager has had enough & explains to him the focus needs to be put back on his work & not who he’s sleeping with, so Vaughn decides to get his act together. He’s just been hired as the lead in a new big budget movie, & is going to take a break from women until done filming.

Charlotte Michaels aka Charly is a 25 yr. old woman from Philadelphia who moved to New York when she was 18. She lives with her best friend & works as a wardrobe assistant. Her passion is fashion and she loves clothes. She’s just returned home from a job when she gets a call from a friend offering her a job on a big movie in LA. When she hears she would be the dresser for Vaughn West she accepts. This beautiful, sexy man has starred in many of her late night fantasies & she has a bit of a crush. Her crush soon fizzles some when she meets him and he’s a hot, arrogant jerk who gets under her skin and makes her furious.

As Vaughn & Charly work together the sexual tension eventually sets them both on fire for one another. He drives her crazy & she hates how badly she wants him. Vaughn loves this little game and how feisty she is. He enjoys pushing her buttons & getting a rise out of her. Once these two act on their attraction there’s no turning back. They can’t get enough of one another. The sex is off the charts amazing & their chemistry is undeniable. They soon realize they love spending time together outside the bedroom as well. They try to keep things private between them while getting to know one another better.

This book was amazing!!! Reminded me why I love Samantha Towle’s writing so much. She remains one of my top favorite go to authors. This was romantic comedy at its best! Laugh out loud funny & a fabulous love story with a delicious movie star. Couldn’t put this one down. Just fantastic!

Samantha Towle never ceases to amaze me. She has this gift for creating characters and stories that keep me captivated! I have no problem being totally consumed by the fabulous stories she produces. This was her first attempt at a RomCom and I do believe she nailed it!! WARDROBE MALFUNCTION has one sexy as hell and snarky Hero who is Hollywood’s favorite leading man, and a beautiful and sweet Heroine who just about everyone has a hard time not falling in love with.

Vaughn West has landed one of the biggest roles of his career. He’s been advised by his agent to clean up his act and get his head back in the game. After having been publicly humiliated by his ex-girlfriend and best friend during his last movie project, Vaughn went on a drinking and sex binge for a while to get over the betrayal and embarrassment. Now on the set of his new movie with one of the top Directors in the industry, the last thing he needs is to have a distraction in the form of his beautiful new wardrobe assistant. Daisy raises her little brother alone trying to avoid foster care. She adores Jesse & thinks of him as her child. When she makes the mistake of trusting the wrong person it costs her her freedom & her brother. Daisy is arrested & spends eighteen months in prison for a crime she didn’t commit. She is released early on parole & is ready to get her life back, & that includes the only person who has ever truly mattered to her, her brother Jesse. Jesse is now in the system, & Daisy’s main goal is to get back custody of him.

Daisy’s probation officer informs her he’s lined up a job for her working at the Matis Estate as a maid. It’s a big estate in Surrey that is a stable business. She is looking for a fresh start & happy to have a stable job. On her first day, she meets her gorgeous, Greek god of a boss. His name is Kastor Matis, & he runs the estate while his parents are in Greece. Daisy quickly labels him Kas-hole because he’s such a moody jerk. She never knows what she’s going to get with Mr. Matis. He’s always got this brooding, intense scowl on his face, & Daisy can’t figure him out. She just tries to do her job & stay out of his way.

Even though Kas is a bastard half the time, Daisy still can’t help lusting after her boss. He’s absolutely stunning to look at. All the constant clashing they do has built up more sexual tension between them, & eventually it explodes. They want each other desperately, but Kas keeps pulling away. He’s mysterious & turns so hot & cold with Daisy she can’t figure him out. He can be closed off one minute & then kind & warm the next.

There is so much Daisy doesn’t know about Kas. He has so many secrets & parts of his past that have left him broken. He hadn’t let himself feel in over seven years, & he’s trying to make sense of his feelings for Daisy. She makes him want to live again, but he doesn’t think he’s good for her or deserves her.

I really loved this book! We get a sinfully hot, damaged, beautiful man, & a sexy story full of suspense & danger. We also get a fabulous story about love & healing. I couldn’t get enough of this book & flew through it. I hope we get a book for Jude next!!!

-He’s the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.

-He feels like nothing I’ve ever had before and everything I didn’t even know I wanted.

-All of him is against me, and even still, I don’t feel close enough. I want more of him. I want all of him.

I really enjoyed this new book by Samantha Towle. Unsuitable was seductive, thrilling and totally unexpected.

Daisy Smith has been in jail paying for a crime she didn’t commit, for the last eighteen months of her life. She’s lost everything after trusting the wrong people, her whole life has been destroyed after she was wrongly accused, and what hurts her the most is having lost the most important person in her life, her little brother Jesse.

She got sentenced to three years in prison, but after eighteen months she has been set free, with parole due to good behavior. Daisy is very focused on getting her brother, and her life back. She needs a suitable place to live and a job to start on the right path into getting Jesse back.

Her best friend and parole officer have set Daisy up with both a home and a new job as a maid at the beautiful Matis State. On her first day on the job, she meets her boss, a man with both extreme good looks and terrible attitude. Even days after starting the job, Daisy can’t escape her boss’s disdain, the man is impossible.

Kastor Matis is of Greek decent, gorgeous, rich, fit and always grouchy. After a few interactions with Kas, Daisy realizes that there’s more to him than what meets the eye. Her boss is quickly becoming a sweet obsession to her, and when he finally asks her out, she is more than ready to accept.

But Kas and Daisy aren’t simply a man and woman who like each other and want to date to get to know each other better. They both have complicated pasts, that have altered their lives and shaped their futures. Daisy can’t afford any complications while all she’s trying to do is get her brother back, and Kas doesn’t know how to love or trust anyone, needless to say, their story will be neither easy nor predictable.

This story is so much more than your typical sassy heroine, and hot alpha hero. There’s a lot of angst, and nothing I say can prepare you for the thrill of this Unsuitable couple’s story.

Samantha Towle has gone out of her comfort zone withUNSUITABLE and I think she absolutely NAILED IT!!!! I’ve read a lot of her books and I can tell you this is nothing like her previous works. I had heard that she struggled with writing this book and all I can say is that she shouldn’t have worried whatsoever. The story held me captive from beginning to end! I looked at the length of the book and thought that it would take me days to finish but actually if I didn’t go on a mini vacation, I would have finished this in one day. The book is just that good!!!! Kudos to Ms. Towle!!!!!

Daisy Smith has just been released on parole, after having served eighteen months of her three-year prison sentence. Her ex-boyfriend and his brother framed her for a crime she didn’t commit. Imprisonment has cost her custody over her younger brother, Jesse and now her main focus is to get her life on track and to have her brother back under her guardianship. She is assigned a job as a maid for a wealthy businessman by her parole officer.

Kastor Matis is an extremely wealthy and successful businessman. These two do not get off to a great start, mostly because of Kastor’s belligerent attitude towards Daisy. Even though her new employer is a bit of a bully, Daisy can’t deny that the man is incredibly handsome and does things to her lady bits! Kas seems to be affected by Daisy as well, but he plays hot and cold with her so many times that it sets her mind into a tailspin.

 

 

When it seems that they are both finally on the same page as far as their feelings for each other go, outside influences and lies could end up tearing this couple apart. Daisy has been burnt by her last relationship and she’s not willing to let her feelings for any man get in the way of her plans to be reunited with her little brother.

The chemistry between this couple is seriously off the charts HOT!! And when you find out some things about Kas they will only make you fall harder for him!! I was a little bothered by the ending but overall this was one outstanding read!!! You will not be able to put this one down once you dive into it!!

Everything changes when she is sent to the police station because a superstar NFL football player is arrested. Her boss wants her to make an example of the star quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. Their golden boy Grayson Knight. With his fame & money he is considered untouchable. This high profile case could define her career, but Melissa questions if he’s innocent. Things don’t add up & she is seeing holes in his story.

As Melissa continues to question Grayson there is an undeniable attraction between them she keeps trying to ignore. He flirts & clearly is interested in her, but she knows he’s extremely off limits. She wants him, but can’t have him. It would be career suicide. Yet, as their chemistry ignites, & their connection grows, she can’t seem to stay away.

Melissa knows who Grayson Knight is, I mean; any woman on this planet knows that he is one of the hottest men in football. What she never expected was to find herself building a case against him, and since she is the assistant for the district’s attorney, she has to get to the bottom of the situation and find out how exactly this golden boy ended up in jail for drug possession.

Even though Melissa and Grayson start off the wrong foot, the sexual tension between them is through the roof. Melissa can tell that there’s something Grayson is not telling her about the case, and she really wants to help him, but he’s not making it easy on her. Not only is he withholding information, but he also keeps flirting heavily with her, and c’mon! there’s only so much a girl’s ovaries can take.

Sacking The Quarterback was a super quick and steamy read. Samantha Towle is one of my “go to” authors and when I saw that she was writing a romance involving an NFL Quarterback, well I knew that I just had to get my hands on this one. The story is co-written with James Patterson and fans of Samantha will be able to distinguish between the writing styles. I didn’t fully start to enjoy this one until the latter half of the story.

 

 

Melissa St James is an up and coming Assistant State Attorney in Miami. She has just been assigned the biggest case of her career. NFL Quarterback, Grayson Knight has been arrested for possession of drugs. Her boss wants her to make sure to make an example out of Grayson and that he gets the most severe sentencing. When these two meet, the attraction is palpable and there’s something about Grayson’s behavior that has Mel questioning his guilt.

 

Mel is determined to get to the bottom of the story because there is no way her conscience will allow her to send an innocent man to prison. As Grayson and Mel begin to spend more time together their attraction grows deeper. I did find it to be a case of insta-love, but then again we are dealing with a pretty short novella!!

 

The steam is what made this an enjoyable read for me. If you’re a fan of Ms.Towle, then you know she can deliver on that front!!
