We met Prince Henry in the first book and have come to know him as the charming and carefree Royal who was both adored by his country and family as well. Poor Henry is now the next in line to become the King of Wessco, as his older brother abdicated the throne to be able to marry the American girl with no ties to royalty, who stole his heart. Henry is not taking the new responsibilities too well and has been doing his best to avoid his new reality by drinking himself into a stupor. The Queen takes pity on him and tells him to go off to one of their secluded palaces for a couple of months to get his act together. While he should be taking the time to learn the policies and laws of his country, he ends up agreeing to be the latest bachelor of the reality show called ”Matched”. Twenty of the most beautiful single women of royal lineage will spend the next two months at his palace while competing for Prince Henry’s heart. This is just an excuse for Prince Henry to have some fun and he has absolutely no intention of finding a fiancé. But when he runs into the beautiful and shy sister of one of the contestants, he finds himself being completely bewitched by her.

Lady Sarah and Prince Henry have met briefly before and even back then there was a spark between them. Sarah is a Librarian and nothing gives her greater joy than her beloved books. Bronte and Austen are some of her favorites. Sarah is almost painfully shy and tries to not draw attention to herself but she unknowingly captures Prince Henry’s full attention. He ends up spending every free moment away from the reality show with her. Sarah brings him a feeling of inner tranquility and her strong belief in him, inspires Henry to want to rise up to the expectations of the Queen and his country. But Henry is not the only one affected by this relationship, Sarah, who always tends to avoid situations that place her in the spotlight, has acquired confidence that she lacked for most of her life. Sarah is putting herself out there in what would be considered scary situations for her and finding her inner strength.

Henry and Sarah soon get entangled romantically and now the reality show becomes a nuisance for the both of them. Can Sarah deal with Henry continuing to be the star of a fake matchmaking reality show? Will she be able to trust a man that she has labeled a “Willoughby” especially when it’s been her lifelong dream to end up with a “Colonel Brandon”?

While on his mini vacation, Henry is approached by a television producer wanting him to star in a reality dating show called Matched- Royal Edition. Twenty beautiful blue bloods in one castle for six weeks to compete for Prince Henry. One would win a diamond tiara & hope to capture his heart in the end. Henry had no intention of picking a bride. He just wants a distraction & is looking for a little fun.

Henry meets two sisters that arrive at the castle for the filming of the show. Lady Sarah Von Titebottum & her sister Penelope. Sarah is the daughter of a countess & works at a library. She loves Jane Austen novels & is considered the good sister, or the boring one. She’s set in her ways & likes her routine.

Sarah meets Prince Henry & is expecting an entitled, rich, spoiled, careless Prince. Instead he’s rather down to earth, extremely funny, & a shameless flirt. As Sarah spends more time with Henry she see’s he’s gentle, charming, sweet and intelligent. They could talk for hours & he enjoys making her blush. Henry gets to know the prim & proper shy girl with the glasses, & thinks she’s beautiful inside and out.

Sarah quickly becomes extremely important to Henry, and he doesn’t want to screw it up. He’s completely enamored by her beauty & kindness. They both fall fast for one another & we get a beautiful love story.

I adored this book! His Royal Highness was dreamy. He was absolutely swoon worthy & had such a beautiful heart. I fell hard for the sweet, sexy Prince Henry.!
