Under the moonlight with the wind kicking up her hair, I’m reminded of how much I love her. Hannah is my soulmate. My dark, dirty, hellion of a woman. It’s been quite the ride to get us to this point. I don’t want to lose her. Not now, not ever.

To say that this series is beyond crazy, dark, and addictive as hell is simply an understatement. K. Webster has managed to end this series like a cherry on top of a decadently delicious chocolate cake. She is the only author that can make you fall in love with the most heinous of villains, one who started off as a monster capable of doing the most unimaginable things. There have been quite a few books in this series filled with a number of Heroes but Gabe, the dark angel, is the one who completely stole my heart.

It took a woman who was his equal in depravity if not a bit more to turn him from villain to hero. But it wasn’t only the mentally unstable Hannah, but his children that Gabe adored more than life that brought about his redemption.

Gabe has been stuck in his own living hell since he and Hannah had their two children, Toto and Land. Without a doubt, Hannah loves them with all of her heart but the darkness inside of her that she has no control over threatens their family’s happiness every single day. She battles with the dark thoughts and the irrational possessiveness and jealousy over Gabe that plagues her mind. Gabe is at his wit’s end. He knows that it would only take one second where he had his back turned that Hannah could destroy their family. But this burden isn’t his alone to carry. Hannah feels that weight as well and is helpless against the way her twisted brain functions.

How will this all end for the twisted couple who couldn’t be more perfect for each other? Will their love be strong enough to save them or will it be their final undoing?
