The conclusion to the AMORE saga is filled with a lot of action with a little side of steam. Personally, I could have used a little more of the schmexy, but overall I found this to be a very entertaining read.

The story starts off about nine months after Julietta’s kidnapping and Maria’s subsequent death. Julietta has been hiding out in her best-friend Celia’s home with her new-born son. Riccardo has been threatening the lives of her child and her father if she does not go along with his plans to take down Rafael. He wants Julietta to rekindle the relationship she had with Rafael so that she can get the inside scoop on what’s going on within the Lencioni organization.

Julietta and Rafael soon cross paths and he seems not to be concerned with where she has been for the last several months, but more preoccupied with rekindling their arrangement. He wants her back in his bed and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Rafael had no idea that Julietta was pregnant and that they had a son together. Her plan is to keep this secret from him because she doesn’t want her son to have any links to the mafia. When Riccardo’s paranoid and erratic behavior puts Julietta in a precarious situation, will Rafael be able to forgive her for her supposed betrayal? Or will he realize that she was placed into an impossible situation?

I really loved the first book but felt like there were a few things that didn’t quite make sense in this one. My favorite character in this book was Celia. Her fierce loyalty to Julietta was beyond admirable. There are several characters from Bella Jewel’s MC series that make an appearance in this story and I’m sure those of you who have read them will enjoy being reunited with some of your favorites.

If you’re looking for a quick and fun read, then I would highly recommend the AMORE series.

I know in my heart that this is the moment that will forever be frozen in time, imbedded in my mind for the days when all hope seems lost between us.

This was my first book by Bella Jewel and I honestly enjoyed it more than words could ever convey. I was intrigued by the synopsis and had always meant to read something by this author since she has such a huge following. Normally, I am not a fan of the mafia based romances. I’ve tried a couple in the past and they just didn’t appeal to me. So I had a little bit of trepidation going into this one. Luckily this book ended up being a HUGE winner for me. Don’t let the cheesy cover fool you ladies, this was a FABULOUS story!! I will warn those who have a hard limit with cheating, to steer clear of this book, since this deals with a Mob Boss and his Mistress. Cheating in books is not a big deal for me and the way things are explained in the story further helped me to overlook that aspect.

Julietta is a young Nurse who happens to love her life. She’s happy with her job and has good friends. She dates on occasion and has no interest in being tied down to one man. That is all about to change when she ends up meeting a very handsome alpha male at a trendy Chicago nightclub. This club is known to be owned by the Lencioni crime family and never in her wildest dreams did Julietta imagine that she would end up having a one night stand with the Mob Boss himself, Rafael Lencioni. Actually, Julietta is horrified when she learns who Rafael is and tries to run off. She had only expected their time together to be brief but Rafael has other plans. He’s quite captivated by her and shows up at her home with a proposition. At first, Julietta is vehemently opposed to being his mistress. Her conscience and catholic upbringing couldn’t possibly allow her to go along with Rafael’s proposition but it only takes a bit of seduction on his part to get all of Julietta’s defenses to come crumbling down. I was a bit shocked at how easily she went against her morals even though Rafael explains that his marriage was arranged and is one of convenience with zero passion involved and that his wife Maria is aware of all his trysts and really has no issue with them. They end up having this extremely passionate and steamy affair. The only stipulations are that Julietta can’t tell a soul who she is dating, she’s not allowed to go near his family, and most important of all, she is not to fall in love with Rafael.

Even though this man is an adulterer, I couldn’t help but fall for Rafael. I hoped along with Julietta that he would fall madly in love with her and break all his rules. When these two are together you can expect to feel the heat from the burning passion that ignites!! At first, Julietta truly believes that she can handle being the woman on the side but as time passes her feelings for Rafael develop into something deeper and she finds herself struggling with the fact that she will be treated like all the mistresses before her and that her time with Rafael has a fast-approaching expiration date. The situation starts to get intense as there is an unknown adversary who is trying to take down Rafael and somehow Julietta gets thrown in the middle of all the mob action. Her life is very much in danger and her world gets flippe

By the time we get to the end of the story we are dealt with one hell of a cliffhanger. Fortunately, the author leaves us with a note at the end explaining that book two has already been written and is just in the process of being edited. She assures us that we won’t have to wait long!!

AMORE is currently available! Bella Jewel fans will definitely be pleased with this one, and maybe those of you who haven’t read anything by her will find that you have a new author to add to your favorites list.
