SYNOPSIS
I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her.
The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants.
Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.
Damn the company.
Damn our friendship.
Damn my fears.

Kate Martin is a beautiful woman living in Los Angeles, California. She’s in a relationship with a man she’s absolutely bored with & working in a job she hates. Needing a change she interviews for a job at Marks Lingerie. She loves women’s fashion, but her passion is undergarments. Kate is interviewed by the delicious owner Trey Marks.
Trey needs a new Creative Director. He is looking to hire someone to help him save his sinking company. Sales have been declining, & he’s barely making payroll. He thinks Kate just might be the one to help him revitalize the brand & make Marks Lingerie great again.
Trey & Kate work closely & he soon realizes his company needs her. She’s full of fire & believes in Marks Lingerie. They work side by side, working long nights and traveling together. They make a great team. As their attraction grows, so does the extreme sexual tension between them. Trey has strict rules when it comes to his employees. They are off limits. He doesn’t want to risk his company or his friendship with Kate by getting personal.
Kate can’t ignore the chemistry she feels every time she’s in the same room with her beautiful boss. They share a love for the company & have also become best friends. They’ve grown to care deeply for one another, but neither are willing to act on their feelings. He’s become this seductive unattainable man she’s desperate for.

-If this woman was lingerie, she’d be black leather, with studs along the seams and enough of a dominatrix vibe to give a man pause.
-I’ve never experienced chemistry like this.
-God, the things I could give her. The ways I could please her.
Trey falls hard for Kate & has to decide if he’s willing to ditch the rules to have her. He is in agony every time he’s near her & can’t touch her. When they finally come together it’s explosive. It’s a slow burn, but so worth the wait.

LOVE IN LINGERIE is a sexy and angst filled standalone about an office romance between the CEO of Mark’s Lingerie, Trey Marks, and his Creative Director, Kate Martin. There is definitely a slow but agonizing build till we get to the action between the main characters but there are several scenes where we get a little tease of what’s to come. I don’t know whether to commend the author or be angry with her for the torture I had to endure. I was dying for Trey and Kate to finally make a move on each other!!
Kate Martin has landed a new job as Creative Director with Mark’s Lingerie. Upon first meeting her new boss, Trey, she feels an instant attraction to him even though she’s currently engaged. Her fiancé is a really easy going and good partner but there isn’t any white hot chemistry between them. Trey also feels strongly attracted to Kate as well, but his strict rule against fraternization amongst employees and his past experience helps to keep his lustful impulses under control. Trey is one sexy as hell alpha male with a major kinky fetish that I think most people would have issues with, including the heroine, but I’m sure there are some of you who will only find it out of this world hot. I actually was not a big fan of his kink. For some reason, it bothered me a lot. Even though the H & h are not in a relationship with each other during most of the story, it really didn’t sit well with me when they would get involved with other people and I found myself getting upset with Trey quite a bit.

It was so frustrating that when Kate becomes available, they still don’t end up getting together and eventually waste time getting involved with other people who clearly weren’t right for them. I did love the ending and for once I loved the Heroine more than the Hero in a story. I understood Kate’s actions and empathized with her throughout the book.
If you love a good office romance and aren’t afraid of the kink, this might be a good one for you!
