WOW!!! It’s hard to find words right now, I don’t think the wordLOVE even makes justice or can even describes how much I adored this novel. Karla handcuffed my senses and Lee stole my heart. Every character and every word in this novel was superb, everything simply worked perfectly to make a truly wonderful story.

Hearts of Blue is a very unique novel about how opposites attract; both main characters struggled with what’s right and moral and what needs to be done in order to survive the harsh world. Will love be the magical answer?

We first meet Karla and Lee in the book King Of Hearts. Karla is Alexis’ best friend and roommate, and from that first interaction between Lee and Karla at the grocery store, I remember loving them together so much and hoping they got their own book. Imagine my bliss when I found out about Hearts Of Blue.

It was hard to imagine how the romance between a cop and a thief was going to work. But leave it to L.H Cosway to create a masterpiece where a love is so strong that it can right every wrong and make the crooked want to go straight.

Karla loves helping people and that is the main reason why she became a Police woman. She struggled from the beginning with Lee’s advances because it didn’t make sense to give into her desires. In her mind there’s no way that they can ever be together. Especially since she’s worked so hard to earn the respect of her colleagues in a career that is primarily dominated by men. Problem is, that Lee is very smart and charming and he really wants Karla. So he goes against his brothers, or any argument anybody could have about how they shouldn’t be together and catches Karla so they can fall, together in love…

When Lee is with Karla she makes him want to be a better man and even believe there is a brighter future for someone like him. Someone who’s had to fight his whole life to survive and provide for his family.

It’s not easy, but when they finally decide to give their relationship a real try, they are forced to be together in the dark and away from all the judging eyes. Lee is showing Karla a whole new world she never knew about, where people have to make hard choices in order to survive and those with power always come on top, stepping over the least privileged.

They come from two different worlds and it will be a constant struggle for them to be together. Karla hates what Lee does for a living and even though she’s now more understanding of him, she can’t simply ignore how wrong what he and his brothers do is, no matter how noble.

Unfortunately soon she will find herself in the worst situation possible, one where she must choose between her career and her love.

Like always, in love, people hurt each other and this will also be the case for this couple. Will they be able to forgive their mistakes and trust that their love will be enough?

Are you ready for the truth? I thought I was, but nothing could prepare me for the startling events that would unfold in this second installment of the Twin Duo.

Pax and Gabby have a very unique and unconventional type of love. I was at odds with my feelings constantly while reading this book. Because love isn’t always perfect and what connected these characters was something so deep and meaningful, that it’s impossible for the reader not to be pulled under the wave of emotions brought on by this very original story.

Pax is a man who loves and fights fiercely. He is totally addicted to Gabby and more often than not he can’t control himself around her. He adores his family and is willing to destroy anything that might threaten to take them away from him.

Gabby is still trying to make sense of her crazy life and every time she thinks everything is going to be okay after all, something devastating happens that pulls her further away from Paxton. Her priority remain her kids, but it’s undeniable that the power Pax has over her, goes deeper than anything she ever imagined.

The reader goes through the motions together with this couple as they fight and love hard for their future but no matter how hard they try or how far they go, their future seems very uncertain

Jettie Woodruff is out to get us with this story. She didn’t hold any punches and makes us suffer until the very end but just like the previous book, it felt sooooo good! You will beg and beg for more and she will release the answers but with a dropper and even after I was finished with the book I still craved more. I NEED MORE!!!!!

This story was so memorable and I’m sure it will haunt me forever. I was bewildered by how much I loved Paxton, because his character was so cruel at times. I could palpably feel Gabby’s struggles when it came to her husband. He was so charming and intense and he even almost makes you crave the harshness of his actions and words.

Whether it’s love, hate, lust or any other emotion, I can guarantee that you will feel it with high intensity when you open this book and surrender your mind to this story. I loved it!!!! The question now is, do you dare????

Throughout this book we wonder if she is Gabriella or Isabella???

She feels betrayed by her husband Paxton, but still wants to be close to her girls. Once she’s around Paxton again she falls right back under his spell. She is powerless to resist him. She is still deeply in love with him & insanely attracted to him. She can’t forget his touch & she craves him.

Gabriella isn’t the wife Paxton married. He can’t easily mold & control her anymore. He starts to fall for her, & we begin to see a tender side to Paxton that even he is shocked about. This dysfunctional couple grows to have real feelings for one another & realizes they have something worth fighting for, & they try to build a future together as a family.

We get a lot more of both Paxton & Gabriella’s pasts. We get answers & some shockers. This couple is one roller coaster ride after another, but also oh so delicious! I went from disliking Paxton in the first book to loving him in the second. This hard, intense closed off & often cruel man has it in him to love, & is even funny. There are many layers to Paxton Pierce, & I’ve enjoyed experiencing them all! This series has been a bit of a mind fuck but I’ve loved every minute! ;))

-I would have followed the man to the fiery gates of hell, and he knew it.

-Paxton was a hard man to love, but he also loved hard when he loved back.

-I was in love with a family I didn’t remember, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Arrogant. Cocky. Prick. Those are the words I’d use to describe my older brother’s dangerously handsome best friend.

Monster Prick is a novella spin-off of Screwed. It can be read as a stand alone. It’s a Friends to Lovers/In Love With Older Brother’s Best Friend story, two of my most favorite tropes.

Gracie Oliver has been in love with Hudson Stone since she was a young girl. They have always had a special relationship from the beginning. It’s obvious that Hudson also harbored deep feelings for Gracie for a long time. He would go out of his way to make her feel better when she was down and he also would bring her a different illustrated children’s book as a present whenever he came by to visit. I really loved that about Hudson.

For years they hold in these feelings since Hudson is Gracie’s brother, Hayden’s, best friend. Now Gracie is a grown woman and during a night out with the both of them, she announces that she’s signed up on an online dating service and hopes to meet someone who she will lose her virginity to. This sets Hudson off into a jealous rage internally. He can’t stomach the thought of Gracie with another man, and so he proposes to Gracie that they get together three times and he will be the one to teach her the ways of sex. The problem with this idea is they both have deep feelings for each other and how will they be able to just walk away after the third date?

Hudson had a reputation for being a playboy, but it was only to help keep himself from going after Gracie. At first he comes off so super sweet but when they enter into this sexual arrangement, the sexy dirty talker appears and holy crap my panties were melting right along with Gracie’s.

The big dilemma of this short story is once things start getting sexual, how will they be able to keep things strictly physical and avoid letting emotions take over??

I really enjoyed this story. It was incredibly steamy and a bit low on the angst. I wish that it had been a full length novel because I would have loved to get more of the build up to the romance between the two main characters, and that was my only issue with the book. It would have been nice to add in some angst and make the road to their HEA a little bit longer. But I understand that Kendall didn’t originally plan to write Hudson and Gracie’s story and this came to her as an idea after finishing Screwed.

This was an enjoyable and fast paced read. Great when you are looking for a filler. 🙂

God, she was beautiful. Her angelic face expressed a pure openness he rarely glimpsed in a woman. She mirrored the perfect twist of naughty and nice that would make a man happy every morning he woke up in her bed.

This book literally floored me!! I loved it so much more than book one. There’s something about a man who has brutal strength and is almost like a wild animal, but at the same time, has the innocence of a young child! I’m a sucker for them!! Also this book was so SMOKING HOT, I actually went and re-read some of the steamier scenes!!! Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever done that until this book!!!

Luka, aka “RAZE”, is on a mission to seek revenge for his friend that he was forced to kill in a death match. Fighter 362. He promised to seek vengeance on the man who had destroyed his friend’s family. He learns the name of 362 and that he had a twin brother, who also was made into a slave and fighter in the Gulag. He also finds out that his friend was a member of the Kostava family, which were his family’s mortal enemy. Luka doesn’t care about past rivalries and conflicts. He’s been tortured by the guilt for killing 362 and all he wants to do is make things right. So he sets off to find 221 and free him from the evil man who has been drugging him and keeping him enslaved.

221 aka Zaal Kostava has been given a drug daily for years that makes him a violent killer but also 100% loyal to his master. He does whatever his master tells him to. He is always kept locked in a dark prison. Never allowed outdoors to walk in daylight, and he’s never allowed to talk. All he does is kill who his master commands him to, and has sex with the female slaves his master owns, only when ordered to do so for an audience. He has no recollection of his past. He has forgotten his true name, his family, and what has become of them.

Luka manages to save Zaal, and brings him to New York, to his parents beach house. His sister, Talia, has been staying at the beach house, enjoying her extended vacation. Zaal is kept in the basement where there is an actual prison cell installed. He’s very volatile because of the drugs that are still in his system. Every day, Talia is captivated by the beautiful man who seems to be very violent and dangerous.

After watching him on a surveillance monitor for days, Talia decides she wants to meet this man face to face. The sparks fly almost instantaneously, and HOLY HELL that scene where she gives him a sponge bath??!! Yea, that was one I went back and re-read and I melted in a puddle of desire!! LOL

As Talia spends more time with Zaal, she sees that he is very much like a young child. He has this endearing innocence about him. Her heart breaks for him when she learns how he has lived most of his life and damn if my heart didn’t break as well. The very first time he utters…“You are..for me?”, I was a goner for him!!! I swooned so hard!!

Gripping and electrifying; Tillie Cole takes us on another level of greatness with this second book of the Scarred Souls series. Nothing could take me away from this book as I was reading it, I felt the pain, the love and the sadness inside Zaal’s heart. I specially loved how Talia’s strength was what ultimately brought him out of the darkness. They made such a wonderful couple and their story was simply stunning and yet full of scars…

Talia Tolstaia is a Russian Family Mafia princess. Although she doesn’t usually follow the rules, she is destined to follow the same family protocol as every other Russian woman, when it comes to her future. My most favorite thing in this book was the always present theme of unconditional love, whether it was between friends, siblings or lovers. All these characters shared a fierce sense of loyalty and love that just makes this books completely memorable.

DO NOT miss the chance to read this book. It is intense and full of romance and thrills. I loved it and cannot wait for more…

It was well worth the wait to get Painter’s story!

Ever since “Reaper’s Stand”, I’ve been dying to get to Painter’s story. The whole attraction between Painter and Melanie was eluded to but I felt it was a HUGE TEASE!!! I finished this one yesterday and I ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!!

Boy, I never thought that Painter could make me question who could be my #1 Reaper! Horse and Picnic have always been my top faves, but DAMN, Painter is definitely a top contender as well. There’s something about a man who is an artist. I just never knew that he had so much depth to him!

Everyone thinks Painter is this manwhore, who is incapable of committing to one woman, but all of that changes when he meets Melanie Tucker. Mel is London’s niece, Jessica’s, best friend. London had taken Mel in after her mother had abandoned her. During all of the crazy drama that ensued during Reaper’s Stand, Painter and Mel formed a friendship that definitely had deep undertones of attraction. They became pen pals while Painter was in prison for several years.

Once he’s back home, there is no stopping him from going after the girl of his dreams. Even though at first he tries to fight his feelings, it becomes apparent that it’s a losing battle for him. Mel is also incredibly hung up on Painter. Things get seriously hot and heavy between them, which leads to an unplanned pregnancy.

There’s major drama that develops which causes the two to go their separate ways for a while. But Painter does go through a bit of an awakening and is hell bent on making things right between he and Mel.

I had the best time reading this book. Never did I feel like it dragged. Oftentimes I felt the need for a cold shower. The action is nail-biting intense, just as you would expect from a Reaper’s story!!

We get an extra epilogue at the end for Gage and Tinker. I am seriously hoping that they get their own book. Ms. Wylde, do you hear me?????!!!

Painter can’t quit thinking of Mel, but when he comes home from prison he tries to keep his distance. He really cares about her, & thinks she deserves better than him. His good intentions don’t last long, when he finally realizes he just can’t resist her anymore. He’s never been in a relationship, but he’s never felt this way before. He decides to finally claim Mel & make her his in every way, & OMG is it HOT AS HELL!!!

As they become more serious, things get complicated. Painter continues to be loyal to his brothers & the motorcycle club, & Mel comes to realize she will never come first. She doesn’t want to put time & energy into a relationship with a man she can’t count on to be there. She decides to focus on herself & her own life.

Over about five years Painter is a part of Mel’s life. He’s in & out of prison & things aren’t always easy, but the love is always there. These two really are crazy in love with each other. Painter is completely gone over this woman. She is his whole heart & he realizes she is everything to him.

There really is nothing better than a hot badass biker with a tender side. I LOVED Painter so much in this book! Total swoon worthy biker yumminess! I highly recommend this one! 😀

It’s not very often that I take a chance on a debut novel and end up being so blown away by it, that it becomes a top ten favorite read of the year for me. Ana Medeiros’ writing style is simply brilliant, and The Raven Room delivers so much more than an erotic story. This book was mysterious, thrilling, and tempting in a way that has made me completely obsessed with it. Every single word of this novel has gotten under my skin and even days after reading, I still can’t escape it.

Julian Reeve is a successful professor and child psychologist. Gorgeous and single, Julian enjoys a very unique sexy lifestyle inside the doors of The Raven Room, sex club.

Meredith has had a sexual relationship with Julian for about a year. Neither of them know much about each other, they only share pleasure and a very open and understanding friendship. Meredith has heard about The Raven Room and she’s been very curious about going and experiencing what happens in this mysterious club, that only the rich and powerful are allowed in.

Meredith loves sex, she is willing to take and give pleasure from anyone, and The Raven Room seems like the perfect playground for her. She convinces Julian to take her and they enjoy a sinful night inside the walls of the risqué sex club. That night something very special happens to Julian; he finds himself mystified by the moves of a petite redhead. Julian has a very dark past; one he is not trying to escape but has embraced and learned to accept as his nature. He cares deeply for the women who bring pleasure and misery to his life.

The thing about The Raven Room is that while it will give you everything you want and crave in a tempting environment that is safe from judging eyes, it comes at a very high price and whoever is not willing to pay and play by the rules must be ready to face the consequences. Will these three lovers be able to escape the harsh consequences and punishments that come with the key of this club? Or do they even want to break free from it all?

Reading The Raven Room was a very unique experience. It felt luxurious and addicting. I simply couldn’t escape it. The connection between the three main characters was so beautiful and raw and I was bewitched by it, in every chapter. The sexual scenes were so intense and even though they often included pain and it was between individuals who thrived while sharing partners, there was a very romantic undertone to every single one of them and I couldn’t help but fall in love with this story.

Through mystery and eroticism The Raven Room was the stunning premise of a trilogy that will play with every single one of your senses. Are you ready to step inside and be part of a world that hurts so, so good?

I highly recommend this book to those who don’t mind dark, sexy reads that include a menage a trois. This book is truly, A must read!!!!

The guys needed to accept my greatness instead of trying to bury it even further. Yeah, since the very beginning of the band, they’d been too busy holding me back to truly appreciate me. And now I’d bumped into the proverbial ceiling with the D-Bags, and I had nowhere left to go.

Ever since I heard that S.C. Stephens was writing Griffin’s story, I have been waiting on pins & needles to get my hands on this book. Thoughtless is one of my all time favorite books and Kellan Kyle will always be my number one book boyfriend! So I was more than excited to get more of Kellan and to get a deeper insight into Griffin and Anna’s life together.

To be honest, I never really cared for Griffin. He always seemed to be a huge douchebag, and I mean he is the only one out of the group that deserves that label. I just didn’t understand why Anna was so crazy for him. At first I did think she was a bit self absorbed but she proved to be a really strong woman with a huge heart. I wondered why she would lower her standards by hooking up with Griffin.

For almost three quarters of this book, I was convinced Griffin was a complete idiot with no redeeming qualities. All he did was whine about how he wanted his chance to be in the spotlight, and there were times I actually did feel a little bad for him. No matter how many times he asked if he could play lead guitar or do lead vocals for just one song, he would always get shot down by the band. Through it all Anna was always there for him. She was his rock and she never failed to let him know that he was the shining star in her eyes, and his little girls adored him. I was actually really in awe of Anna in this book. She definitely turned out to be one amazing character.

I was worried this book was going to consist of nothing but Griffin complaining about his place in the band, and also of he and Anna constantly having sex. But Griffin is going to make some HUGE MISTAKES through the course of this story. Finally this man is going to have to take a long hard look at himself and the way he’s gone about his life since the D-Bags became famous.

Will Griffin learn the error of his ways before it’s too late? Will he lose everything that truly matters in his life? I won’t tell. You’ll have to read this book to find out!! I will say that I ended up enjoying this book and OMG, I did a bit of swooning over my Kellan!! The man is PERFECTION!!!

D-Bags 4Eva!!!!!

I feel like this book was written for the fans. For all of us D-Bags groupies, this treat of a book is not only about the romantic story between Griffin and Anna but a tribute to all the guys in this wonderful band.

You know, when I was reading The Thoughtless series I loved Griffin’s character, he definitely added the humor to a very angsty story but in my mind I thought his personality was mostly an act, just him trying to be the class clown kind of guy. But as I read Untamed I realized that Griffin really believes he is God’s best creation and that he was put in this world as a gift for all humanity, and so I spent half of the book laughing out loud at his crazy antics and the other half wanting to reach inside the story to strangle him. Untamed is nothing short of a good time.

I gotta say how much I loved Anna in this book, you see a totally different girl from the one we met in previous books. Motherhood has really made her mature but definitely always keeping her edge. Her love for her husband was completely unconditional and it was a thing of beauty. Anna’s love for her family had no bounds and I was so impressed by her character. She was the calm before the storm that is Griffin.

This book is all about Griffin’s struggles as he comes to realize his mistakes and mostly his selfishness toward his band mates and family. For most of the book you do see how much he loves Anna and his friends and family but he has a hard time when it comes to expressing his feelings.

I think my favorite thing about this book was to read about what a wonderful yet unconventional father Griffin was. It was equal parts of adorable and entertaining.

This book ultimately delivers a great message about the beauty of second chances. Be ready to laugh and be blinded by the stars of all rock themed book series ever, The D-Bags are back baby!!!!

She also learns he rescues dogs & has a huge giving heart. There’s much more to Lachlan than just what’s on the surface. As it nears the time for Lachlan to go back to Scotland, they grow closer & begin to fall for one another.

This was another fabulous book by Karina Halle! She always writes beautiful stories full of heart that I can’t get enough of, & takes us to gorgeous places that make me feel like I’m experiencing it all. Lachlan McGregor was absolutely delicious & I loved having the McGregor trifecta all together! YUM!!! Please please please give us a book for Brigs next!
