Even more addictive than the first, and I thought that Paper Princess was book-crack. My head is spinning, my heart beating fast and a huge smile is painted on my face because this series is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

I’m going to be honest in saying that I don’t know how to review this book, without giving anything away. I hate spoilers, I prefer going into my books blind, and in the case of this story, I feel it would be detrimental to say too much.

But I also realize that what I can do , is tell you without fear how reading this story made me feel. Completely enchanted, yes, that’s the most accurate word I could find because it’s incredible how the words of these authors have irrevocably captivated my heart . You’ve heard it before, The Royals will ruin you, well… do not take those words lightly. That’s exactly how you will feel, these sexy brothers will rob you from your words, and every single one of your emotions with the complex beauty of their dark hearts.

Secrets, so many of them. When one is revealed , and you think the shock is finally wearing out, another one comes to hit you right in the face, and we just eat it all up and beg for more. By the time you are done reading, you’ll pretty much do anything The Royals will ask of you, these books are thatGOOD!

Don’t be foolish in trying to figure out what the secrets are, or what the book is about by asking people or dissecting reviews; just buy the book, read it, and enjoy losing yourself in a story that will for sure leave you breathless.

I, for one, could read these books forever. I actually had a dream the other night that I was Ella, and what a dream it was to be in the arms of Reed Royal.

She brought joy back into their lives, & made them laugh again. They all loved her & wanted to protect her. Without Ella, their world felt like it was falling apart.

They eventually track Ella down & when she returns to the Royal mansion, she’s angry & hurt with Reed. She doesn’t want to be there. She just wants to finish school & then be done with this family & this town, but her heart has other ideas. She still can’t shut down her feelings for Reed as much as she tries not to care.

Reed will do whatever it takes to win Ella’s forgiveness. He’s determined to get her back & prove he’s worthy of her. He is willing to make a complete fool of himself for her. Reed groveling is priceless. I loved that the tables were turned & Ella had all the control.

I loved this book so much! I devoured it just like I did the first one. I can’t get enough of these delicious Royals. This book had a lot more emotion to it. It also ends on another cliffy & left me dying to get my hands on the next book!

What I loved the most was that regardless of all the pain and all the wounds, their love was fierce, and every time either of them felt like giving up, they could always go back to it and continue the fight for happiness.

Rock Wedding was my first book by this author, I really enjoyed the camaraderie between all the guys in the band and their wives too. I honestly fell in love with every, single character in this novel, and Rockstar books being a favorite of mine, makes me want to go back and read all the previous novels in this series.

It had been ingrained in him from year zero that Olivia Elizabeth Kane was so out of his league he’d need a seat on one of those private space rocket deals to reach her stratosphere.

For those of you who enjoy the Brazen Entangled series and love the ”romance with the older brother’s best-friend” trope, this one should hit the spot. I never read the first two books in the series and figured I could read this as a standalone, but I felt like something was missing for me. It was as if I was thrown into the middle of the story and never really got the benefit of the beginning. I would definitely advise reading the previous books. I was able to follow along but I didn’t care for how the story starts.

Olivia Kane is boozing it up at a bar and trying to pick up a handsome stranger in hopes of having a one night stand to help her forget how she was just left at the altar. Actually, her fiancé was busted having sex with one of the wedding guests, not even an hour before the ceremony was to take place. The wedding guest happens to have been the date of Flynn Cross, Olivia’s childhood crush and current bane of her existence. They grew up together since childhood but for the past seven years, Flynn had just dropped out of her life without any notice or reason.

Olivia plans to go on her honeymoon trip to Mexico and to lose herself in meaningless sex with random men. Flynn is not having any of it and proceeds to follow Olivia down to Mexico. She’s still hurting over his disappearance and puts up a good fight in the beginning, but when Flynn offers his sexual services to her, she finds it nearly impossible to resist the man who’s had her heart since she was only twelve-years-old.

Flynn has been in love with Olivia almost as long as she’s had the same feelings for him. But several things keep him from pursuing more with her. He thinks that he’s not good enough for her and would never jeopardize his friendship with her brother, Brody. His reasons for keeping his distance from Olivia after he came back from his tour in Iraq were eye-rolling inducing.

One Week to Score has the steam that you come to expect from Brazen novellas and I can’t deny that I enjoyed the schmexy. It’s low on angst and good for a filler read.

I’m not sure how or when it happened, but she’s become mine. She’s the first thing I think about when I wake, and the last on my mind before I drift off to sleep. And before I can contemplate the ramifications, I know that I’m going to do what needs to be done to protect my future with her.

Last we left off, Olivia had deserted Noah at the altar. He assumed it was due to the pregnancy clause in their inheritance contract, but we learn the real reason when Olivia shows up at their penthouse a few days later. She’s in a terrible bind and after having failed to fix the situation herself, she turns to Noah for help. He ends up being her savior and then the two make plans to wed soon after.

Noah then learns that Olivia had signed the contract without having read the fine print. She is unaware of the pregnancy clause and that they have less than 90 days to make a baby. Noah struggles with whether or not to fill Olivia in on the clause or not. He’s starting to get invested in their relationship and can see a future with her but thinks that Olivia isn’t on the same wavelength as him. Having a baby with Olivia might actually be something he’s looking forward to.

As things start to heat up between them, Noah’s guilt starts to eat him up inside. He knows he has to tell her about the baby stipulation but the timing always seems to be off. This time, the cliffy we are faced with is a pretty big one!!! I don’t know how Ms. Ryan is going to make things right for our Hero and Heroine, but I am hopeful that there will ultimately be an HEA on the road ahead of them!!!

The sun had begun to rise, casting a golden hue across the room as Chase slowly moved in and out of me. It was beautiful and tender, and I felt it in a place I never knew another human being could touch—my soul.

How did I not know that Vi Keeland was such a fantastic author??!!! I have only read STUCK-UP SUIT, but that was a book she co-wrote with Penelope Ward and it was so hard to tell if there was a difference in writing because those two ladies just mesh extremely well together. All I know is that I need to read more of this woman’s books!! I fell madly in love with this book from the very first chapter. The story is just that good!! It’s been quite a while since I’ve met a book boyfriend with ALL the qualities that when combined, equals PERFECTION. Chase Parker was drop dead gorgeous, intelligent, soulful, outstanding in the schmexy department, and most of all this guy had the best and funniest personality. I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud while reading BOSSMAN.

Reese Annesley is on a horrible first date and while waiting on a line to the ladies room, she is trying to reach her bestie who is supposed to call her and give her the excuse she needs to ditch her date. Chase happens to overhear her leaving a message for her friend and calls her out on being shallow and for not giving the poor guy a chance. They exchange a few heated words and when they go back to their tables, Reese can’t help but ogle the rude man because he truly is a mouth-watering sight. He ends up inviting himself and his date over to Reese’s table and concocts the most outrageous story of how they first met back in grade school and it was from that moment that I knew Chase was a serious top of the list book boyfriend contender!! Chase and Reese will bump into each other a few more hilarious times before she eventually lands a job with his company. And then the pursuing begins. Chase promises that he will get Reese in his bed. That it’s only a matter of time, but Reese left her last job for having made the mistake of sleeping with a co-worker who then ended up getting promoted and became her boss. She has no intentions of repeating past mistakes.

The daily flirtatious banter between these two was downright panty melting and at times laugh out loud funny. There’s also some serious undertones to this story as well which stem from traumatic events that occurred in both Chase and Reese’s pasts. But when the past comes back to haunt Chase, he winds up in a downward spiral. Will Reese be enough to bring Chase back from his darkest place? Or will their relationship be over before it ever truly got started?

I am telling you, this book is one you DO NOT want to pass up. I don’t think it’s possible not to fall in swoony love over Chase!! If you haven’t read it yet, make sure you bump this one up your TBRs.

A life changing read! I feel like this book was written out of a piece of my heart. The beauty that pours out of the pages of this novel took ownership of all my smiles, and all my tears. This book is an absolute MUST READ!!!!!!

After reading it, I totally understand what she means by that, this is a story that demands and captures not only your attention but also your heart and soul. Jonah and Kacey grabbed onto me and I really doubt they’ll ever let me go.

The subject matter of this story could be considered as sad, but for me, it wasn’t. This book made me feel painfully happy. My emotions were bursting out of me. I wanted to scream, cry, dance and laugh like a mad woman. That is the power of a beautifully written story, you find yourself happily lost inside those pages, and after you are done reading, you know some part of you will never be the same.

I will forever be an Emma Scott fan, and this book is my absolute, most favorite EVER!!!!

I was already too open to him without meaning to be, as if he’d reached his hands into my chest and pried it open while I was knocked out on the table. And by the time I came to, I was permanently altered and couldn’t do a damn thing about it.

I decided yet again to take a gamble and try a new author and it definitely paid off!! The synopsis to LEGAL sounded like a dream come true to me. Older woman meets a gorgeous younger man with a healthy sexual appetite, and they proceed to have mind-blowing sex on the regular??!!SIGN ME UP!!! And that cover!! I was in instant cover lust when I laid eyes upon it.

Jillian Hudson has been divorced from her husband of seventeen years for over a year. She hasn’t really had a lot of experience with men and never had feelings of lust or soulmate love for any man ever. She married her ex because she had fallen in love with his two-year-old son. She became a wife and instant mother at the tender age of twenty. So she never had a chance to really experience her youth. Now she’s looking to change things up. She goes out with her bestie to a local music festival. It is there that she catches the eye and ends up having some wild sex in a supply closet with a very young and beautiful guitar player, named Chase Nolan. This is the first time she’s ever had sex with a stranger and it was the best she’s ever had, but Jillian knows it was just a one-time deal and doesn’t expect anything to come of it.

Fate keeps bringing these two together, and it also may have had a little help from Jillian’s friend, who finds out where Chase works and she makes sure to have the two cross paths again. They end up carrying on a strictly physical relationship once Jillian finds out that she is fifteen years older than Chase. She knows that nothing can come of their relationship and is convinced that their time together has a definite expiration date. Chase, on the other hand, is crazy about Jillian and goes along with her wishes because he doesn’t want to scare her off by pushing things too soon.

I felt for Jillian because she has all these insecurities about her aging body and it doesn’t help matters that wherever they go, young twenty-something women are throwing themselves at Chase. In her mind, it is only a matter of time before Chase gets tired of her and moves on to a pretty young thing. But as the story progresses, it becomes apparent that the grown up in this relationship is really Chase. Jillian ends up making some really idiotic decisions that end up jeopardizing her one real chance at true love.

The schmexy in this book had my heart rate escalating to all new heights and I really had a hard time putting this one down. I actually stayed up till 4am to finish it because the angst was tormenting me so much that I had to get to that HEA!!! I have never read anything by Bree Dahlia prior to this book but now I am curious to check out more of her works.

Hot and highly entertaining, Anything But Love had all the right ingredients that made a perfect weekend read. I had a lot of fun reading this book, and if you are looking for a sexy story that will make you laugh until your belly hurts, this is it!!!

Erik Kelso is passionate about coffee; roasting it, making it, and of course drinking it. He has recently quit his job to open his own coffee business, but before he jumpstarts his new career, he is going to Mexico to unwind, in the company of his brother.

Erik is looking to drink on the beach and hookup, that’s it! Turns out he gets way more than what he was hoping for out of his vacation. A bar fight, he almost ends up in jail, and a photo of his amazing butt goes viral in social media. All of this courtesy of one fiery woman, Caribou Caldwell.

The problem with all this is that what happened in Cabo didn’t stay in Cabo. It follows Erik back home; turning his life upside down as millions of women are now fantasizing about his manly goodies.

Caribou wants to make everything better and apologize to Erik before getting into any legal trouble, but when she goes to find him, Erik is less than pleased to see her. These two will start playing a game of hating each other in the most delicious way possible. The crazy situation that brings Cari and Erik together has them both confused about the feelings brewing between them; is it hate, is it a friends with benefits situation, or is it ,anything but love?

This third installment of the Wingmen series was sweet and steamy, exactly how I like my books and my coffee . You will laugh, swoon and crave a delicious steamy cup of joe as you read about all the crazy shenanigans both Erik and Cari get into. This is the sort of book you want to read when you are in the mood for something happy. So get happy or make someone else happy, by reading and sharing this charming story.

Outstanding ovation for Blood To Dust. L.J Shen kidnapped me from my life with her new book. For days I did nothing but dream and obsess about Nate and Prescott’s story. I felt high, drunk, and overwhelmed by the thrill of this book.

Bravo!!!! Another L.J Shen book that goes to the best of 2016 bookshelf.

Prescott Burlington-Smyth is a woman who’s lost everything in the hands of the man she used to love. She grew up with a silver spoon, anything she wanted she had, except, protection from her family. Greed was something her parents had in spades, and it was what ultimately took the Burlington-Smyth’s to their demise.

Even though Prescott was stripped of everything she once had, including her hopes and dreams, she refuses to be a victim. Instead, she became a warrior, a fighter, whose only purpose in life is to seek revenge against those who hurt her. Prescott is smart, and she had a lot of success in her mission, but as we start this book she is captured again, and taken to a basement to await her new punishment from the villains who are back to collect what they think Prescott still owes them.

One of her captors, is a contracted thug, someone who is also in debt to the ruthless men Prescott hates. Nathaniel Thomas Vega, AKA Nate, AKA Beat. Nate has been both blessed and cursed by incredible beauty, his looks are impossible not to admire, stare at, and fall for. But in the dark world where he grew up, looks mean nothing but a weakness. He is poor, a convicted felon, and also someone who owes his life to a terrible man, who has him watching a beautiful girl in his own basement.

Desperate to escape her captivity Prescott tries to learn everything about her captor, his moves, his likes, his weaknesses. Beat is not a nice man, but he is showing her kindness and respect while in captivity. Little by little his peaceful demeanor turns out to be the only thing that can calm Prescott’s storm.

Beautiful words, extreme lust and a tiny thread of hope, will bring Nate and Prescott together. They form an alliance, and together come up with a plan to destroy the people who are keeping them from living their lives free. Their fiery connection will turn into love, and Nate and Prescott will go together on a bloody chase against time. Will they conquer and find freedom or will they die trying?

Reading this book had me burning from the inside out with lust and heavy emotions. Fast-paced and brilliantly written,Blood To Dust is an unforgettable read that will take you on a thrilling journey from which you will never want to come back. Simply AMAZING!!!

Broken people do things better; we learned how to make it in life without the missing parts other people have. Because when you’re in the dark, you appreciate everything that shines.

This story grabs a hold of the reader from the start and was one hell of a wild ride that had me on pins and needles almost to the very end. LJ Shen’s books have been receiving tons of praise all over Goodreads and I decided that I needed to see what all the hype was about. What I have learned is that LJ Shen’s writing is exquisite. Her characters are deeply flawed and yet incredibly beautiful. This is not a pretty tale of a hearts and flowers romance and neither the Hero nor the Heroine are even close to being law abiding citizens but you can’t help but root for their HEA.

Prescott Burlington-Smyth finds herself in a world of trouble. She’s pissed off some dangerous men and they’re out to make her pay. She did have a motive for her actions. These men brutally raped, sodomized and beat her. What she has been through has left a gaping hole in her heart. But now she’s been kidnapped and held captive by her enemies and must wait for the man who once had her love to come and deliver her final punishment. Prescott aka “Pea” is thrown in a dark and moldy basement. She only gets about 20 minutes of human interaction when one of her captors, Beat, comes down to bring her food and allows her a bathroom break. There’s something different about this man who hides his face behind a mask. She can see it in his eyes and so she plans to win him over in hopes he’ll help her escape.

Nate Vela aka “Beat”, is an ex-convict. He spent several years in prison for murder. While on the inside he crosses paths with some of the unsavory characters that want Prescott dead. They end up helping Beat out while in prison and now he’s in their debt. This is the reason he’s currently holding Pea captive in his basement. Beat may have no qualms about killing someone when necessary but he draws the line at harming women. This man is beyond beautiful and women tend to throw themselves at his feet but he’s never had any feelings of attraction for any woman until Pea came along.

As they spend more time with each other, Pea is able to break through Beat’s rough exterior. When they finally get down to the schmexy, it is rough and brutal, and somehow it’s just what Pea needs. They go from Captor and Captive to partners in crime. Pea and Beat aka “Tanaka Cockburn” and “Christopher Delaware” are going to seek vengeance upon the three men who nearly destroyed Pea. Once they are successful, they’ll each go their separate ways.

These two were like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde but so much more. The story gets extremely intense during the second half, I nearly died from all the heart-stopping action. Through all the darkness and bloodshed, a true love story also unfolds. I only hoped that these two could defy such insurmountable odds.

After he comes out of the closet the paparazzi really up their game harassing him & trying to get the first public shot of him with a man. He valued his privacy & the press were just waiting to pounce, so he didn’t feel he had the freedom to pursue someone he might find himself interested in & wasn’t really putting himself out there.

One thing that he did indulge in though was his daily ride past the giant billboard of a hot as hell model giving a come hither look. He drove past it every day & this guy in his Calvin’s totally did it for him.

Dylan Prescott is a model who moved to L.A. about three months ago from Florida. When his agent calls to tell him he booked him an acting job with Warner Bros studios, Dylan is stunned. He soon learns he will be in the new blockbuster with his idol Ace Locke aka the man of his dreams. He’s had a crush on Ace for as long as he can remember.

Ace Locke arrives at work one day to find his new cast member is none other than the man he is currently lusting over on his daily drive to work. The best part of his morning & his ultimate fantasy is suddenly right in front of him & he’s even more beautiful in person. Dylan Prescott had definitely caught his attention & fully had his interest. He wanted Dylan bad but knew he had to be smart about this.

-I had never been so attracted to someone in all my life, yet the thought of acting on that was utterly terrifying.

-Dylan was even more attractive in person. He was…breathtaking.

Ace tries to use self-control & be professional with Dylan, but Dylan is a man comfortable with himself & his sexuality. He was at ease with himself in a way Ace wasn’t. He was a shameless flirt, self-assured, & extremely forward with Ace. He was a man who went after what he wanted, & he made it very clear he wanted Ace. Ace finally reaches his breaking point in trying to resist Dylan & gives into their connection. He finally decides he deserves happiness & wants to try something real with Dylan. Things just feel right when they’re together & Dylan is everything he’s ever wanted, but in Ace’s public life drama seems to follow him.

This book ends on a bit of a cliffy, so I’m really looking forward to the next book Locked. Aced combined characters from both Ella Frank’s Sunset Cove series & Brooke Blaine’s L.A. Liaisons series. These two men I was already familiar with collide in L.A. & things get pretty steamy. I really enjoyed this story & can’t wait for the next book!

-This guy was making me feel things I’d only dreamed about.

-There wasn’t one damn thing about him I didn’t find appealing.

-“I love looking at you. For any reason. Even just to reassure myself that I’m not imagining you so close to me.”
