Camila is trying to make a future for herself, but when a company wants to tear down the apartment complex she lives in to build a strip mall, she is furious. This normally quiet woman decides to head to a meeting to give the shareholders responsible for her fate a piece of her mind.

Camila meets Warren Silva. Warren is a pro-European soccer star. He’s one of the most successful players in the world. After growing up in Manhattan to a wealthy family Warren moved to Spain to play football when he was fourteen. He’s been gone over seventeen years & hardly looked back. Needing to deal with some family business, Warren takes a couple weeks vacation & heads home to New York. While in town he needs to deal with some investments of his. While attending a shareholder meeting he crosses paths with a gorgeous woman named Camila Avila. He is intrigued with her & wants to know more about her.

Warren pursues Camila & decides he wants her. Camila thinks he’s stunning to look at but has no clue who “The War Zone” is. He has a reputation with the ladies & grew up privileged. Camila just sees him as one of the people trying to take away her home & thinks he’s just some rich guy. They come from different worlds, & she’s not all that interested. Warren is persistent & really goes after Camila hard. He’s charming & hot as hell. She eventually agrees to go out with him.

-There was something about her presence that made me feel I was where I was supposed to be.

When I saw the gorgeous cover and learned that Claire Contreras was writing a new sports theme romance, immediately I thought; I’M IN! and who do I need to torture to get this book???

Warren Silva is an international soccer superstar. He has been playing from a very young age and he has proven with time, and a lot of talent, that he is the best on the field. His life has been all about the sport; his one only love, his only focus, and purpose has been playing soccer

Warren has been putting off a visit to his native city, New York city, for a long time. Now he has two weeks off, and some pressing family and business matters, so he has no choice, but to return.

When he attends a business meeting with all the tenants from one of the properties he owns, he meets a beautiful woman named Camila. She is smart, independent, and also the first woman to deny his advances and he is completely taken with her.

Warren is used to getting what he wants, so he is prepared to do something he hasn’t done in ages, chase a woman to go out with, and chasing he does…

Camila has been through a lot in her life. A lot of family pain and a lot of heartaches have shaped her into a very independent woman, who has a hard time accepting help or relying on other people. She is not necessarily immune to Warren Silva’s charms and looks, but she knows that they belong in two different worlds, so she doesn’t see the point in going out with him, only to get her heart broken.

Since Warren doesn’t take no for an answer, he becomes relentless in breaking Camila down, until she finally agrees to go out with him. Their chemistry is instant and explosive, they can barely keep their hands off each other, but unfortunately for them, when things start getting good between them, the past decides to come back, threatening to destroy everything they have.

If you like sports romances, this one is a goal straight to the heart. Packed with thrill, and a lot of passion, Warren, and Camila’s story will be one you won’t forget.

I’ve always been a fan of Claire Contreras, her writing style is always beautiful and poignant, and I was happy to see her Hispanic roots shine through the pages of this novel, let’s just say that was the cherry on top of a very delicious treat for me.

After growing up on & off in the foster system she doesn’t really have much of a family. What she does have are amazing friends. These friends have become her family & she loves them dearly.

Willa hasn’t had the greatest luck with men or relationships in the past, so a while back she decided to give up men. She’s currently on her break when a delicious man from her past walks into her store one day carrying a cat in a pink carrier needing her help. This sexy blast from her past is Keane Winters. Keane stood her up for the Sadie Hawkins dance her freshman year of high school, and to make matters even worse, he doesn’t even remember her.

Willa continues to keep running into Keane & realizes he’s really a great guy. He’s a self-made real estate developer/builder who flips houses. He is fascinated with Willa & wants to spend time with her. He convinces her to go out on a date & they eventually indulge in a friends with benefits type of arrangement, that soon turns into more.

The boy that she loved to talk to for hours suddenly makes her feel rejected & it messes with her self-esteem. He goes from her Prince Charming to her enemy. Their relationship changed that summer & has never been the same.

Through the years she hates him even more. He is now a man who is a cocky, arrogant womanizer. A total player who tries to get under her skin at every opportunity. He’s her brother’s roommate, so she has to see him more often than she’d like. She thinks he’s a disgusting manwhore & loathes the sight of him. At least that’s what she tries to tell herself. He’s crude, confident & sinfully gorgeous, and she can’t control how her body desperately wants him.

They constantly clash & try to get each other all worked up trying to one-up one another. Travis is always taunting her for being an innocent good girl. Making fun of how proper & perfect she is. She’s annoyingly smart, thinks she’s never wrong, & he feels she’s forever judging him.

-She’s absolutely breathtaking.

-Viola Fisher may be off limits, but that doesn’t stop the way my mind and body react to her. As much as I love to drive her insane, I can’t deny the way she’s always made me feel, even when we were kids who knew nothing about love at all.

I had forgotten how much I adore Christina Lauren’s books; luckily for me, Beautiful was the perfect reminder. This new book was the perfect memento for everything I’ve always loved in these stories and more; new characters as well as all our beloved previous ones. Utterly charming and beautiful, I couldn’t get enough.

Pippa is an engineer and she works a lot! One day feeling guilty for always putting more time into her job than into her relationship she goes home for lunch to surprise her boyfriend, but she ends up being the one to be surprised when she finds him having sex in her bed, at her apartment, with another woman. Upset she runs to her mother’s house seeking comfort, both her mums; yes, Pippa is the only child of two wonderful mothers. After hearing herself talk, Pippa realizes that she’s not as heartbroken as she should be by her boyfriend’s betrayal, she’s learning that she’s not happy with her job, or how her life has turned out to be, so her mums offer her the perfect solution, a holiday to Boston.

Overwhelmed by her current life situation and the comforts of a first class plane ticket Pippa drinks too much champagne and becomes a crazy flight companion to the guy sitting next to her. Little does she know that her embarrassment will follow her into her vacation as she runs into the gorgeous guy who sat next to her in the plane, on her holiday.

He agrees to go, and the three couples embark on a beautiful adventure.

Beautiful sceneries, delicious wine, romance and someone from Jensen’s past will make this trip an unforgettable event.

Can Pippa and Jensen have a holiday fling and then go back to their empty lives, or will they find something neither of them knew they were looking for?

I think of this book as a present to all of us fans of this amazing series. We get a vibrant romance with Pippa and Jensen, but we also get a juicy glimpse into the beautiful lives of all of our favorite characters from previous books, making this last novel a blissful experience.

On her flight to Boston to meet up with her friends, Pippa sits next to a hot businessman. She has a little too much to drink & proceeds to tell him all her problems. This beautiful stranger is Jensen Bergstrom, a lawyer from Boston. Jensen is tortured throughout the flight stuck listening to this chatty, loud Brit.

Jensen is the oldest of five siblings & the responsible one. He used to be a player, but since he divorced six years ago, he’s become a workaholic. His career is his life with the exception of spending time with his best friend Will who is married to his sister Hanna. Hanna is always lecturing Jensen that he needs to be more spontaneous & social. He’s too set in his ways. He’s been single so long, he’s in a rut. He’s a homebody who acts like he’s old. He casually dates but never lets himself get too invested.

His sister invites him to take a two-week road trip touring breweries & wineries up the coast. He knows he needs more balance in his life & to have a little fun, so he agrees to go. He soon learns the eccentric drunken woman he met on the plane is also going to be on this vacation. She’s a talker who says exactly what’s on her mind. She knows how to have fun, & Jensen begins to think maybe this trip won’t be so bad after all.

Pippa has quickly developed a major crush on Jensen. They get to know each other better while traveling together, & start to open up more to one another. Soon they are acting on their intense chemistry & enjoying each other’s company on an intimate level. Jensen never puts himself out there. He over thinks everything & his whole life lately has become predictable & routine. He’s been afraid to try again emotionally & risk his heart.

Jensen can simply just have fun & be in the moment with Pippa. She’s funny, honest, genuine, has no filter, & overshares to the extreme. She’s carefree & what you see is what you get. She knows her mind & her heart, and he finds her refreshing. She’s fearless & lives her life in color.

-It felt good to touch her like this.

-I felt safe with him. I felt important.

-I wanted to touch him everywhere, not only because I liked the lines and the tension of his body but also because I sensed that no one had ever made it their mission to learn each and every bit of him.

-It was as if every bit of him needed contact. How could a man so restrained by his own rules not see how much passion he craved?

Suddenly Jensen totally let’s go with Pippa. He’s adventurous & it’s as if she’s finally unleashed the beast. He’s passionate & having the time of his life, but soon reality comes as their holiday ends. She lives in London & him in Boston, so where could this possibly go. What was to be fun & casual turned into so much more. As Jensen tries to get back to work & reins himself back into his shell, Pippa feels lost & out of sorts after falling hard for this beautiful man. Can they figure out a way to be together?

I really adored this book! Jensen was hot as hell & I thought Pippa was awesome! I really loved getting more of all the other couples in this series too!

This wasn’t what a fling should be. He wasn’t casual, forgettable. He wasn’t flaky or flippant. He was attentive, he was considerate, and—holy fuck—he seemed more committed in spending time with me than he was to sleeping, to eating, even to finding closure with Becky. It was almost as if this was what he wanted.

But only temporarily.

Christina Lauren has delivered the PERFECT ending to one of my most beloved series of all time. They gave me a new couple to adore and brought back all of the characters that I have grown to love over the past several years. It’s kind of bittersweet as well because although I really loved this story, I know that this is the end of the line for the BEAUTIFUL BASTARD series and I don’t know that I am truly ready to say goodbye to it!! It was easy to fall for every single Hero, but my #1 guy will always and forever be Will Sumner, and we get a hefty dose of Will in this last installment!! But ladies, get ready to fall for Hanna’s older brother, Jensen Bergstrom!!

Pippa Cox finds herself at a crossroads in her life at the ripe old age of twenty-three. She’s just kicked her boyfriend out of her apartment after having caught him in the act with another woman and for quite some time her job hasn’t been all that fulfilling to her. So her best pal Ruby Stella – Niall’s wife, convinces her to come out to Boston and join her and some friends on a road trip across the East Coast where they will stop at a few wineries before ending up in a luxurious cabin in Vermont. On her plane ride over to Boston, she finds herself seated next to an extremely gorgeous American but ends up getting plastered during the flight and doesn’t leave the best impression on him. Little do they know that they have friends in common and that they’re actually being set up on a blind date since Jensen’s little sister, Hanna, invites him to come along on the road trip with them as well.

Jensen’s life has been all about work for far too long. His divorce from more than six years ago left him disillusioned since his wife just up and left without a real explanation as to why she wanted out. So Jensen has given up on the idea of love and gets his needs satisfied about once or twice a month with a casual friend who is like minded as him and isn’t looking for a serious commitment. Hanna and Will constantly worry about Jensen. They’re hoping that Pippa will be the woman to rescue Jensen from a solitary and empty life.

Awkwardness soon turns into an easy friendship between Pippa and Jensen as their trip across beautiful New England embarks. The trip starts off being loads of fun for the three couples until halfway through their itinerary they run into an old acquaintance that isn’t all that welcome but this only ends up pushing Jensen and Pippa closer to one another. Soon enough they are giving in to their smoldering attraction for each other and these scenes made me feel like the pages were burning right there within my hands!! They agree to enjoy the rest of the trip as lovers but with the understanding that at the end they will go their separate ways. But what happens when something that starts out as fun might actually end up being that one and only soul deep love that everyone dreams of finding? Will Pippa and Jensen be able to get over their individual hang-ups and can they even try their hand at a long-distance romance??!!

I don’t know if there is anyone out there who has not read any of the books in this series yet, but if you haven’t, I highly recommend that you add it to your TBRs!! You really are missing out!!!

Way better than just borrowing a cup of sugar from your sexy neighbor. If you’ve read a Stylo Fatôme book you know her stories are always sexy, mysterious and perhaps a little bit weird, which is why I’ll forever need her books in my life. This author always brings it up a notch, and Neighbors was one hell of an entertaining, crazy ride.

Katya Tocci lives a pretty boring life. Her focus for years has been on her career as a baker. She’s not a risk taker. She’s a good wholesome girl, who’s always doing the right thing. It’s been quite a while since her last relationship, so her best friend/roommate has convinced Katya to create an online dating profile in order to meet someone new. Her crazy roommate embellished Katya’s profile a bit, and soon she catches the interest of a sexy man who happens to be her neighbor.

Stylo Fantome has been on my radar for some time now. I kept seeing all these fabulous reviews for her books and my Bestie devours her books. When I saw the blurb forNEIGBORS, I figured now’s the time to try this author out. Well, one thing is for sure, Stylo can write some prettySCORCHING HOT sexy time scenes. There are a plethora of them within the pages of this book!! This is a love triangle but in all honesty, the people involved are single and no commitments have ever been made. The heroine makes both men aware that she is having relations with the two of them. So those who don’t like triangles can actually read this one.

Katya Tocci is a young woman who lives a very dull and ordinary existence. At the urging of her roommate, she joins an online dating site in order to spice things up a bit. Her profile catches the eye of her very gorgeous neighbor, Liam Edenhoff. Liam has seen Katya around but never approached her because she appeared to be virginal and dresses like a librarian. He’s completely surprised by her racy online profile and decides to pursue her. The two end up making plans to meet up at his sex club. Katya agrees to go only because she wants to prove to Liam that she is not the demure woman that he has made her out to be in his head, but Katya really is quite innocent and this is taking her way out of her comfort zone. Now here’s where my eyes were rolling!! They end up having sex in a booth, right out in the open for all the club goers to see. To top it all off, she even has anal sex for the first time in said booth!!!! I’m not sure that a woman who has never lived life on the wild side before would partake in such overtly sexual escapades!! I started to get mildly irritated with the number of times the heroine mentions having anal sex with Liam! It felt like not a day could go by where she wasn’t mentioning it or thinking of it.

The next day, Katya runs into an old crush from her past in the bakery that she works at. At first, it seems as if Wulfric Stone doesn’t even recognize her but he soon is ordering her to meet him later on for dinner. This man was the unattainable boy next door from Katya’s childhood. Wulf is several years older and never paid her any attention back in the day but he was definitely the star of all of her romantic fantasies. Wulf is still devastatingly handsome, an alpha male to the extreme, and never really shows Katya what’s going on inside his heart.

Katya carries on relationships with both men but it is obvious who holds her heart and whom she only sees as being a really good friend. I definitely was on Team Wulf!! Men who act like assholes usually do it for me in books!! As time goes on Katya feels that she can’t keep things going with two men. Her conscience is eating away at her.

I struggled for a while with this book because I didn’t like the Heroine so much. I kept thinking of her as a doormat. But once I got to the 72% mark, I was HOOKED!!!! The story gets very intense. I was laughing, then swooning, and by the end I was furious!!! I just need to know what happens next after one hell of a cliffhanger we are left with!!!!

I really enjoyed this book, & can’t wait to get Landon’s story next!

– The draw I felt towards her was incredible, indescribable. Stronger than magnets, than chemistry, it was a primal, clawing need in me- not necessarily for her to be mine, but for me to be hers.

-I had to treat our relationship like I did everything else: with full dedication and concentration. As of this moment, I was committed, and I’d never failed at something I worked for. Eleanor Baxter wouldn’t know what hit her.

-I wanted to touch her heart, to claim a piece for my own, and that was something I’d never wanted from another woman.

He’s mysterious & turns so hot & cold with Daisy she can’t figure him out. He can be closed off one minute & then kind & warm the next.

There is so much Daisy doesn’t know about Kas. He has so many secrets & parts of his past that have left him broken. He hadn’t let himself feel in over seven years, & he’s trying to make sense of his feelings for Daisy. She makes him want to live again, but he doesn’t think he’s good for her or deserves her.

I really loved this book! We get a sinfully hot, damaged, beautiful man, & a sexy story full of suspense & danger. We also get a fabulous story about love & healing. I couldn’t get enough of this book & flew through it. I hope we get a book for Jude next!!!

I really enjoyed this new book by Samantha Towle. Unsuitable was seductive, thrilling and totally unexpected.

Her best friend and parole officer have set Daisy up with both a home and a new job as a maid at the beautiful Matis State. On her first day on the job, she meets her boss, a man with both extreme good looks and terrible attitude. Even days after starting the job, Daisy can’t escape her boss’s disdain, the man is impossible.

Kastor Matis is of Greek decent, gorgeous, rich, fit and always grouchy. After a few interactions with Kas, Daisy realizes that there’s more to him than what meets the eye. Her boss is quickly becoming a sweet obsession to her, and when he finally asks her out, she is more than ready to accept.

But Kas and Daisy aren’t simply a man and woman who like each other and want to date to get to know each other better. They both have complicated pasts, that have altered their lives and shaped their futures. Daisy can’t afford any complications while all she’s trying to do is get her brother back, and Kas doesn’t know how to love or trust anyone, needless to say, their story will be neither easy nor predictable.

This story is so much more than your typical sassy heroine, and hot alpha hero. There’s a lot of angst, and nothing I say can prepare you for the thrill of this Unsuitable couple’s story.

Samantha Towle has gone out of her comfort zone withUNSUITABLE and I think she absolutely NAILED IT!!!! I’ve read a lot of her books and I can tell you this is nothing like her previous works. I had heard that she struggled with writing this book and all I can say is that she shouldn’t have worried whatsoever. The story held me captive from beginning to end! I looked at the length of the book and thought that it would take me days to finish but actually if I didn’t go on a mini vacation, I would have finished this in one day. The book is just that good!!!! Kudos to Ms. Towle!!!!!

Daisy Smith has just been released on parole, after having served eighteen months of her three-year prison sentence. Her ex-boyfriend and his brother framed her for a crime she didn’t commit. Imprisonment has cost her custody over her younger brother, Jesse and now her main focus is to get her life on track and to have her brother back under her guardianship. She is assigned a job as a maid for a wealthy businessman by her parole officer.

Kastor Matis is an extremely wealthy and successful businessman. These two do not get off to a great start, mostly because of Kastor’s belligerent attitude towards Daisy. Even though her new employer is a bit of a bully, Daisy can’t deny that the man is incredibly handsome and does things to her lady bits! Kas seems to be affected by Daisy as well, but he plays hot and cold with her so many times that it sets her mind into a tailspin.

When it seems that they are both finally on the same page as far as their feelings for each other go, outside influences and lies could end up tearing this couple apart. Daisy has been burnt by her last relationship and she’s not willing to let her feelings for any man get in the way of her plans to be reunited with her little brother.

The chemistry between this couple is seriously off the charts HOT!! And when you find out some things about Kas they will only make you fall harder for him!! I was a little bothered by the ending but overall this was one outstanding read!!! You will not be able to put this one down once you dive into it!!

It’s looking to me like Nina Lane has the makings of anotherHIT on her hands. I will always love her Spiral of Bliss series but now I am convinced that Ms. Lane is FAR from a one hit wonder. There was never a doubt in my mind that she could write a story that I was going to fall in love with but I didn’t think there was a chance that the Hero could be as captivating and swoon-worthy as Dean West. I was proven wrong!! Ladies, get ready to meet your next book boyfriend who is going to melt your panties and get your hearts racing!! You are going to fall for this utterly delicious alpha male – Luke Stone!!!

Polly Lockhart is a young woman who hasn’t really begun to live her life yet. Her spunky attitude and in-depth knowledge of astrology have a bewitching effect over Luke. This woman’s innocence and desire to enjoy life to the fullest helps Luke realize that maybe there’s more to life than just running his family’s corporation.

I have to take a moment to mention that the steam level in this story is freaking out of this universe HOT!!! Ladies, depending on how fast you read, I’d say you’re going to go through at least a few panty changes during this story. Nina Lane delivers her usual signature delicious schmexy in this one!!! You’ll definitely understand why I fell so hard for Luke!!!

A very sweet and heartwarming friends to lovers story brought to us by the pen of the talented Roya Carmen. I love it when an author tries something completely different, and RC pleasantly surprised me with this new book.

Relatable characters, a gorgeous setting, and a sweet romantic story.

Amber lost her husband and twin brother two years ago in a terrible car accident. She blames Aiden, her childhood nemesis for the accident. They all grew up together, a group of four boys and her, the only girl, a band of misfits, they used to call themselves.

They grew up running around the farm, riding horses and climbing trees. When they got older Amber and Paul got together and later married. Aidan had always loved Amber, only he would get her attention by teasing her when they were kids. These two were always fighting.
When Amber married his best friend, it was too much for Aiden to bear, so he left town with the mission to forget about his love for her.

Amber and Aiden always had feelings for each other but the timing was never right, and now tragedy has pushed them further apart.

Years later, and after the accident, Aiden still loves Amber and her son Trevor, he misses them, and wants back into their lives, but Amber has other plans. She wants someone plain and uncomplicated, after losing so much, she’s ready to settle down for someone who will give her peace, and being around Aiden wrecks havoc, and she wants none of that.

David is a nice friend back from college, he’s nice and good looking enough, but why is it that every time Amber is with him, she’s only thinking about Aiden? How long can she keep her feelings for him at bay?

Amber is very scared, she’s lost so much and is eager to simply live an uneventful life. Aiden is messy, sexy, passionate and he’s always wanted Amber. A forbidden love and painful secrets have prevented him from moving on with his life, for him, everything starts and ends with Amber.

It won’t be an easy road for these two friends to trust each other again and start fresh. The attraction between them is too strong to ignore. Will they be able to forgive and forget?

This is the first book in this very promising series. The next book is about Amber’s sister, Ruby. She was a spitfire of a character and I can’t wait to read her journey into love.

Loving Amber is a friends-to-lovers story that begins with a devastating loss. Amber Riverstone and Aiden Rogers have been friends since their early childhood days. Aiden was actually best friends with Amber’s older brother Flynn, twin brother Ken, and her childhood sweetheart turned husband, Paul. The guys only let her join their private all boys club after she bribed them with her baked goods. Aiden has loved Amber for quite some time but as a kid, he often pretended to loathe her since he knew that her heart only belonged to Paul.

Later on, when Paul and Amber get engaged, Aiden decides to leave town because he’s unable to watch the woman he loves marry his best friend. But Aiden does return a couple of years later with his own fiancé and on the night of his bachelor party, he’s in a car accident that takes the lives of Paul and Amber’s brother, Ken. Amber is so overcome with grief and ends up taking all of her anger, unjustly out on poor Aiden. Several years have gone by and Aiden has kept his distance from Amber and her son, even though not a single day goes by that he doesn’t ask her older brother, Flynn, about their well-being.

Eventually, Flynn is able to convince Amber to invite Aiden over to a family dinner. There is a definite white hot spark that flows between these two. We learn through flashbacks that they have shared two kisses—one when they were teenagers and the second was right before the accident that took Paul’s and Ken’s lives. They both try so very hard to fight their attraction for each other. Amber tries to start a relationship with a business partner but the chemistry just isn’t there.

Amber is often very hot & cold throughout this story and I had a very hard time relating to her. More often than not, I found myself feeling irritated with this character. I couldn’t understand why poor Aiden was placing her on such a high pedestal and subjected himself to her cold and often cruel behavior.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read with a hefty dose of steam. The first in a series of books. Each book will be about a different Riverstone sibling.
