After his father dies he moves back home to run the family business, Pierce Brother’s Construction with his two older brothers Caleb & Tristan. Over time Dalton & his brothers rebuild their relationship and become a real family again. He now is happy living in Harrington, Connecticut spending most of his time getting paid to do what he loves. His passion is woodworking & Pierce Construction keeps him very busy.

On his down time, Dalton is known as quite the ladies man, often frequenting the main hangout in town called My Place. It’s a restaurant/ bar he enjoys going with his brothers to relax. So far he’s my favorite of the Pierce brothers, but I can’t wait for the hot suit wearing Tristan up next! :))

This time the focus is on the youngest brother, Dalton, who is described as the brother who is seriously blessed in the looks department. Dalton is a master craftsman and can create the most beautiful furniture pieces. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all different types of wood and raw materials and what would look aesthetically pleasing in their client’s homes. He’s well known for being a player but has such an easy going charm about him and a deep-rooted appreciation for women which always results in leaving on good terms with anyone he becomes involved with. Dalton had a very special bond with his mother. Her untimely death and the circumstances surrounding it has left a very big hole in his heart. It is also why he holds himself back from getting involved in a serious relationship with any woman. SCHOOLED BY A SENIOR was originally released back in October of last year as a part of the anthology titled, Hot For Teacher Anthology: Nineteen Stories Filled With Love and Lust. I’m not a huge fan of anthologies and I’m sure there are tons of readers like me, and that’s why K. Webster probably decided to release this as a standalone so that her fans could get the chance to read it.

This is one seriously naughty little erotica novella that I would consider a guilty pleasure read and not one of substance. The dialogue was completely dirty and cheesy at times but not as bad as some of the dialogue I have read in other erotica stories. K. Webster never disappoints when it comes to the schmexy and this one was oozing with it. I do have a thing for Student/Teacher romances but this was my first in which the teacher was a woman. The story was so over the top at times I thought there is no way a grown woman would ever get involved with such a ridiculously cocky eighteen-year-old-boy, no matter how good looking he was, and yet, I’m not going to lie, I really did enjoy the down and dirty moments they shared!

There really isn’t too much to the story other than the steam and the fact that there is a sweet HEA. I would definitely recommend this to all K. Webster fans because if you love her writing, you’ll enjoy this for the pure entertainment value. I’d also recommend this to those who enjoy good smut now and then. It’s a pretty short novella that should only take you a couple hours to read.

REAL GOOD LOVE is the incredibly sensuous and action-packed conclusion to the REAL DUET series by Meghan March. Ms. March has created one seriously sexy alpha male book boyfriend that has me wondering if maybe I need to make a trip down South to find my very own version of Logan Brantley!! The mystery quickly ramps up in this one and it seems that everyone and their grandmother is a possible suspect in the recent meth lab explosion scandal. You will be guessing till the very end as to who the actual guilty culprit is.

We were left with a doozy of a cliffhanger at the end of book one but come to find out early on that all was not as it seemed. Banner and Logan are temporarily separated as Banner is in New York City tending to the funeral arrangements for her old snarky neighbor whom she had a special bond with. She comes to find out that she wrongfully accused her of having her evicted as well and that leaves a sense of regret in that she never got to clear things up before the eccentric old lady passed. Banner gets some completely unexpected news that brings with it wonderful and unlimited possibilities for her future. She can go back to living her high society life in New York City, but there’s a certain alpha male mechanic back in Kentucky, that has her heart and now she realizes that NYC is no longer her home.

Back in Kentucky, the meth lab epidemic is getting out of control and a very high profile news reporter is firing up all kinds of unwanted gossip for a few of the townspeople, including Logan. Word has also gotten out that Banner is back in NYC and many of the single women are trying to use this opportunity to make their moves on Logan. Once Banner is made aware, she wastes no time in getting back on a plane to Kentucky to stake claim on her man.

One of the major highlights of this series are the steamy scenes between Logan and Banner, and all I can say is that in this second book there is no limit to the adventures these two take together!! Fanning myself!!!

Drew Jagger is a 29 yr. old successful attorney in New York. He lives and works in a building on Park Avenue that’s considered prime real estate in NYC. He returns home from a vacation to find a beautiful feisty woman in his office. While he was out of town his office space was to be renovated. He comes back to this woman accusing him of being an intruder.

Emerie Rose freaks out when she thinks a man is breaking into her new office she just rented about a week ago. She proceeds to attack her intruder only to learn he actually is the true owner of her office. Turns out she was scammed out of her life savings & rented an office that wasn’t available.

Suddenly she has little funds & nowhere to go. Drew offers to let Emerie help him out while his secretary is on leave in exchange for rent. They are like night & day and complete opposites. As a psychologist, Emerie was in the business of repairing relationships, while Drew helped to destroy them as a divorce attorney. They clash daily & seem to do nothing but argue which continues to fuel their intense sexual tension. They are extremely attracted to one another, & eventually sharing space together creates a connection. They begin spending more time together & it’s easy and fun between them. Drew shamelessly flirts with Emerie & makes advances. She can’t help the way her body reacts to him, and eventually they act on their mutual desire & indulge in one another physically.

-He really is beautiful. I wasn’t sure I’d ever thought of a man as beautiful before. Handsome, yes. Hot, even. But beautiful fit the bill to describe Drew Jagger-no other word did him justice.

-Never in my life had I felt so much desire.

-Drew Jagger had stirred a lot of things inside of me that I hadn’t felt in a long time.

Drew was burned badly by a woman in his past & as a result, he’s cynical about love & commitment. He only enjoys sexual relationships with women and doesn’t get attached or do feelings, so when he starts having real feelings for Emerie it scares him to death. He has trouble with trust but finds himself wanting more with Emerie.

Emerie knows Drew’s reputation, and doesn’t want to get too attached & then get hurt, but when she grows closer to him & gets to know him better she can’t help herself. He has such a beautiful heart and she fall’s hard for him.

I really enjoyed this book & love Vi’s writing! She knows how to create the perfect, arrogant, sexy, breathtakingly gorgeous, irresistible man that I can’t help fall for every time!

I couldn’t explain why I felt things for Drew any more than I could explain the taste of water. Yet somehow, he had become a necessity for me, and I was in no way ready to take on a drought.

EGOMANIAC is the story of one sexy as hell New York City divorce attorney and a sweet but utterly naïve psychologist, who specializes in couples counseling, who end up sharing office space through highly unusual circumstances. Drew Jagger is easy on the eyes and has no problem getting women to drop their panties for him. He’s quite the skilled dirty talker too!! He discovers a squatter in his office space when he comes back from a two-week vacation. The first encounter between Drew and Emerie is one of the funniest scenes in the story!!

Emerie has just moved to New York City and has managed to be swindled out of her life savings all within a New York minute! While Drew was away, his offices were being renovated and a conman ends up renting one of the offices to Emerie in exchange for a large sum of cash! After things are cleared up between Drew and Emerie, he ends up helping her out of a jam in court. Aside from being a knockout, there’s something about Emerie that has Drew wanting to protect her, so he ends up letting her use one of his offices while she tries to save up and find an affordable office elsewhere. She ends up being quite a resource as she helps him with his schedule and client visits while his secretary is temporarily out on disability.

While the two start to become good friends, there’s no denying the strong attraction that is beginning to build between them. There are little roadblocks in the path to happiness for the two. Firstly, is the reason for Emerie’s relocation to New York City. She followed Baldwin, a man she has harbored a deep crush on since college. The guy keeps her dangling by his pinky finger by throwing her little scraps here and there to give her some shred of hope. Then there’s Drew’s ex-wife, whose constant presence in his life and underhanded ways has really messed with his ability to trust and has him wary of diving into another serious relationship.

It felt like a slow build to get to the out of this world hotter than ”H” schmexy times but, oh my, was it worth the wait!!! Clearly, Drew deserves the title of Egomaniac because he has what it takes to bring a woman to the highest realm of ecstasy. Soon Drew and Emerie are falling hard for each other but when Drew’s ex turns his world upside down, will his misguided actions to make matters less complicated cost him the one true love of his life?

After having finished this series, I can say with certainty that this is my favorite by Katy Regnery!! I could not wait to dive into Book Two after having finished book one the other day. I think Ms. Regnery should make it a point to write more paranormal romances. She did an absolutely fabulous job!! I was so completely wrapped up in this story that I barely left my couch the entire day.

At the end of book one, Darcy finds out that Jack is a werewolf and her heart is broken into pieces. Her fear causes her to lash out at Jack and she tells him to leave town. This annihilates Jack, but he does end up leaving Carlisle for a family matter. Things back home get completely out of control due to his impulsive half-sister and her actions cause big trouble for Jack and Darcy. No one knew about his binding to Darcy because it goes against all their rules for a Roux ga Roux (werewolf) to be in love with a human. If the pack were to find out about Darcy, they would stop at nothing to end her life. Jack goes back home with his brother Julien in order to protect Darcy and to catch his sister, Lela, who they know is on her way to Carlisle in order to kill Darcy.

Jack shows up at Darcy’s and tells her about the danger she and her family is in because of his sister and convinces her to come home with him so that the people she loves are safe and he will do everything to protect her. The Neighborhood is the striking conclusion to the story of Katya, the once shy baker who got trapped inside a web of delicious lies between two neighbors. Katya Tocci got a lot more than a borrowed cup of sugar from her sexy neighbors and lucky for us we go along for the ride.

Will Katya pick the serious and rich, alpha male tycoon, or the sexy and fun sex club owner? Stylo Fatôme makes it really hard for us to pick between these two gorgeous, and alluring fictional boyfriends.

This book starts with Katya trying to cope with the massive heartache caused by the two men she had feelings for. The whole experience has changed her, and now she struggles trying to find a balance between the woman she used to be, and who she is now after everything she’s been through.

To make things more interesting, both Wulf and Liam want Katya back, and this time around they are willing to grovel, beg and do whatever it takes to have her back in their lives. Katya is very hurt, so she decides to give the guys a taste of their own medicine, and why not have a little fun while she’s at it? Making them pretty much compete against each other to win her back. The only rule to this game Katya has come up with is… no sex. (gasp)(yeah right?)

I loved how I never knew what would happen next in the story; one minute I was in love with Liam, then the next I was lusting hard after Wulf. It got to a point where I was actually hoping Katya would pick both, so she could just live happily ever after with her two men. I mean, why not?

This book was fun, sexy and full of angst. Katya got on my nerves a few times, but I got over it pretty quickly, and towards the end, I was completely invested and consumed by the story. The author introduced a few new characters in this book that totally captivated me, and I’m really hoping she turns their stories into more books.

So, pack your U-Haul, leave your inhibitions behind, and move into this neighborhood, where anything is possible…

3.5 ~ You Are My Forever ~ Stars****

Intense, complex, and highly entertaining, is this fifth and last book of the Infidelity series. Charli and Nox have certainly come along away since the day they met at the Del Mar Resort. And together, they fight against those trying to keep them apart.

The book starts right where the last one left off, and once again we find ourselves right in the middle of the action. Never a dull moment when reading an Aleatha Romig book. Chapter after chapter, the heat, and the angst go up, blasting through our hearts and stealing every single one of our emotions.

I’m trying not to give too much away, but I must share that I felt in love with Nox’s father, Oren in this last book. The once villain became not only a hero but even someone I was lusting after. Just like his son, Oren totally captivated me.

So much happens in this fifth book, that I think it’s best to go into it as blind as possible. I love how all the pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place, but it wasn’t a smooth ride by any means. Per usual, when reading these books, massive amounts of wine were consumed on my part, to be able to cope with the heart-stopping events. Just when you think all the secrets have finally been uncovered, something new came up, keeping the excitement going throughout the whole book.

I love Aleatha Romig, I am a big fan of her work. You can always count on her to bring you something unique and complicated, opulent but easy to read, and I just love her for that. My only complaint about this book was that there was so much emphasis on the Montague money empire and the will, that I felt like the romance took a backseat to it all. Fortunately for me, the author gave us, not one, but three wonderful epilogues that made my heart soar, and I can truly say that I will miss these characters.

He doesn’t want to risk his company or his friendship with Kate by getting personal.

Kate can’t ignore the chemistry she feels every time she’s in the same room with her beautiful boss. They share a love for the company & have also become best friends. LOVE IN LINGERIE is a sexy and angst filled standalone about an office romance between the CEO of Mark’s Lingerie, Trey Marks, and his Creative Director, Kate Martin. There is definitely a slow but agonizing build till we get to the action between the main characters but there are several scenes where we get a little tease of what’s to come. I don’t know whether to commend the author or be angry with her for the torture I had to endure. I was dying for Trey and Kate to finally make a move on each other!!

Kate Martin has landed a new job as Creative Director with Mark’s Lingerie. Upon first meeting her new boss, Trey, she feels an instant attraction to him even though she’s currently engaged. Her fiancé is a really easy going and good partner but there isn’t any white hot chemistry between them. Trey also feels strongly attracted to Kate as well, but his strict rule against fraternization amongst employees and his past experience helps to keep his lustful impulses under control. Trey is one sexy as hell alpha male with a major kinky fetish that I think most people would have issues with, including the heroine, but I’m sure there are some of you who will only find it out of this world hot. I actually was not a big fan of his kink. For some reason, it bothered me a lot. Even though the H & h are not in a relationship with each other during most of the story, it really didn’t sit well with me when they would get involved with other people and I found myself getting upset with Trey quite a bit.

It was so frustrating that when Kate becomes available, they still don’t end up getting together and eventually waste time getting involved with other people who clearly weren’t right for them. I did love the ending and for once I loved the Heroine more than the Hero in a story. I understood Kate’s actions and empathized with her throughout the book.

If you love a good office romance and aren’t afraid of the kink, this might be a good one for you!

I could drop a bomb without breaking a sweat, had been to war, nearly died more times than I could count, but she was the scariest thing I’d ever faced, my feelings for her sending me into a spin.

I’ve been seeing reviews of Chanel Cleeton books for some time on Goodreads and my curiosity was certainly piqued. I now understand why so many of her books have received such high ratings. Normally it takes me a few days to read a book of this length, but I literally devoured this book in less than a day!! I honestly was sucked in from the very first page. I’ve never read any romances involving Airforce fighter pilots, and now I am wondering why I waited so long!! I mean Top Gun is one of my favorite movies from the 80s!! All I kept doing was picturing “ICEMAN” while reading this book!! SIGH!! Well, let me tell you, ladies, there is an even hotter fighter pilot in town and he goes by call sign “EASY”!! He’s sure to melt the panties off of every woman who ends up reading this one! This is the third book in the WILD ACES series but can be read as a standalone. It’s a “friends-to-lovers” with a bit of the forbidden romance aspect to it.

Dani Peterson is a woman who has suffered so much loss in a short amount of time – losing her unborn child during a miscarriage and then her beloved husband during an accident while on a mission. It’s been a year and yet the pain is still very crushing. She hasn’t been able to get passed her grief. But she has found some solace from her friendship with her husband’s best friend, Alex “EASY” Rogers. The man is the hottest fighter pilot in “Wild Aces” and is a well-known ladies’ man but there is such a sweetness about him when it comes to Dani. What she doesn’t know is that EASY has been in love with her from the very first moment he saw her. But when he found out she was his best friend’s girl, he kept all of his feelings buried deep inside. He was happy just being able to be a good friend to her and he’s been there for her through some of the darkest moments of Dani’s life.

Now, after a year has passed since Joker’s death, something is shifting between Dani and EASY. Dani is starting to see Easy in a different light and she doesn’t know what to do with these new feelings. She struggles with guilt over her love for her dead husband and her fear of opening her heart up to someone new–someone who could be taken away from her just like her husband. Dani isn’t willing to go through that kind of heartbreak again.

Alex is also struggling with the new developments in his relationship with Dani. He feels as if he is betraying his best friend by going after Dani and he fears that if he pushes her too soon for something more that he could lose her all together and that’s something he wouldn’t be able to endure.

I fell so hard for Alex and every time Dani seemed to reject him, my heart broke for him. The heroine definitely had her head up her butt for most of the story but I was so engrossed and could hardly wait to see how the story would end for this couple!
