-Rick Steele is living in Vegas and works dealing cards in a casino. He hasn’t been with a woman in a while & his buddy gives him a business card to an exclusive club that fulfills fantasies without the hassle of expectations. FANTA C is just about mutual enjoyment. You tell them what you are looking for and they match you up for one night with someone with similar tastes. Rick finally makes the call and meets up with a woman named Tara Denton.
Tara isn’t anything like Rick expected & he is shocked by their strong connection, & the fact that he is wanting more than one night with her. What starts out as a night of extreme pleasure turns into a lot more when both Rick & Tara can’t get enough of each other. Things turn intense between them. Tara isn’t in a place in her life where she’s ready for a relationship, but Rick pursues her & eventually convinces her to give them a real chance. This book had all the things I love about a Jennifer Probst book. A fantastic story, smoking hot chemistry, but it also was a bit dirtier & I LOVED it! It is more erotica than her other books & sinfully delicious!!! Can’t wait for more of the Steele brothers! 😀
-He’d never been with a woman who gave him such an honest, open surrender.
-“This is what you do to me. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I wanted you. By the end of the night, you’re going to believe it, sweetheart. Make no mistake.”

Heartbreakingly beautiful story about a couple who found love in a dark place… Not an easy read but so worth it!!!
Jaynie Cumberland has gone through a very tough childhood. Her mom abandoned her and Jaynie was forced into the foster care system at a young age. She carries a lot of insecurities, after being left behind by every person she’s ever loved.
After being hurt yet again, Jaynie feels completely broken and now her only hope is counting down the days until she turns eighteen so she can finally escape the system that’s failed her so many times, and start a new life. With only a few months before she becomes of age, Jaynie is placed in a new home that is supposed to be a wonderful place for orphans.
The other kids in this new home are wonderful to Jaynie, especially the beautiful guy that keeps lighting up her days with his gorgeous smile. Unfortunately nothing is what it seems and after the social worker leaves her under the care of her new foster mom, she learns her new reality. This new place turns out to be hell for Jaynie and the other kids, they all have to work very hard to earn meals or any other basic privileges. Being exploited on day to day basis, brings these kids closer and they grow protective of each other, forming a family of their own, because even though they all have been through so much pain, they all have so much love to give.
Flynn O’Neill hasn’t been lucky in life either. After his mother died his father turned into a monster and shattered everything in Flynn’s life. His pain and grief took him to the streets for a life of misery and after getting caught committing a crime, he’s placed in foster care. Flynn is very protective of the other kids in the house. Acting as a big brother to them but from the moment he meets Jaynie he knows she’s going to be very special to him.
Flynn wants to help Jaynie heal and he makes it his mission to put a smile on her face everyday, even though they live in a horrible place. A beautiful friendship will blossom into a fierce love between Flynn and Jaynie and together they start making plans for a future. But unfortunately, hate and jealousy from those with more power than them will threaten to destroy everything they have been fighting for.
From the moment I read the blurb of this book, I knew I wanted to read it. I loved the resilience and beauty of the characters. Jaynie and Flynn fought fiercely for their love and they found a safe haven where only they existed, pushing away all the darkness that threatened to destroy yet again, their most precious things in life, love and family.
All the secondary characters were amazing, bringing a lot of sweetness to the plot and creating the perfect balance between all the sad and happy moments in all of these kids lives. Yes, this is very tough book to read due to all the sensitive subject matter but you’ll be mesmerized by the powerful love between all the characters.
I felt satisfied and very hopeful for Jaynie and Flynn at the end of the book and I can’t wait to read the next chapter in their story…

Excerpt One
“Thank fuck!” Sam said, swinging the door open before Devon even had the car in park.
“Oh, this isn’t my place. We’re just dropping Devon off. I’m about twenty minutes across town?” I tossed him a sugary smile then boldly shifted my hand into his lap, purposely brushing the bulge under his denim.
Grabbing my wrist, he narrowed his eyes and called out, “Devon, I’m gonna need to borrow a bedroom.”
I burst out laughing as Devon cursed loudly.
“Fine. This is my place. No smoking inside though,” I snipped as I climbed from the SUV.
“You better have some seriously exciting extracurricular activities to keep me distracted, then.”
“I have Ping-Pong!”
“Not exactly what I was thinking.” He mischievously cocked his head. “But I guess paddles and balls are as good a start as any.” Dipping down, he hoisted me over his shoulder. “Point me to the Ping-Pong table, my lady.”
I didn’t. I laughed hysterically as he carried me inside. Then I directed him to my bedroom instead.
I heard Devon locking up the house as Sam deposited me on the bed.
“Jesus. This view.” He pushed the curtains back. “Why the hell would you ever go up to the bridge when you have this here?”
“I don’t know,” I answered, pulling my earrings off and placing them on my nightstand.
Oh, but I knew. It might not have been what had originally sent me up that bridge, but it was why my feet carried me back every night. And that very reason was currently standing in front of me with entirely too much clothing on.
“You want a beer?” I asked, sliding my shoes off.
“Nah, I’m good.” He faced me, and I could tell something was off with his demeanor. He didn’t inch any closer. Instead, his lips were tight and his eyes uncomfortably flashed around the room.
It suddenly didn’t feel like Sam standing in front of me at all.
He felt like a stranger who had just come face-to-face with Levee Williams.
Damn it.
“Why are you looking at me like that? Are you about to freak out?” I whispered, nervously moistening my lips.
He shoved his hands into his pockets. “I’m not really sure yet. But I’m gonna need you to stop licking your lips long enough for me to figure it out.” His mouth cracked into a wide grin, and my shoulders relaxed.
Now that was a flash of my Sam.
“Want to tell me what’s going on?” I asked.
“It’s just… I think this is the first time I’ve realized that you’re some big-time celebrity. I might be in over my head here, Designer Shoes.”
“I just make music, Sam.” I returned his smile and very slowly prowled in his direction. “Imagine how I feel though. You’re Samuel Nathan Rivers. A tough, tattooed furniture designer who makes six figures a year but is too afraid to tell his mommy he votes democratic.” I giggled as he frowned humorously. Stopping in front of him, I dragged a fingernail down his chest then teased the waistband of his jeans. “Have you considered that maybe I’m the one who’s in over her head here?” I leaned forward to nip at his lips, but he spun us around.
“Excellent point. I’m going to need you to try really hard to keep it together, Levee. You haven’t even seen my six-pack and huge cock, yet.” He smirked and attempted to return my nip, but I stepped out of his reach.
“You brought beer and chicken?” I feigned excitement.
That one corny joke was all it took to bring my Sam back completely.
With a sexy smile and a coy shrug, he seductively backed me toward the bed. “What can I say? I like to be prepared.”
“Clearly,” I breathed.
He moved in close so his lips were only a centimeter away, but for as much as I wanted him, it was agonizing. “Clearly,” he repeated, his smoky yet sweet breath breezing across my mouth.
His strong arm looped around my waist, tugging me against his chest, while I stared into his hooded eyes, eagerly waiting for him to make a move.
Any move.
Every move.
Excerpt Two
“You’re overdoing it, Lev. I know this job isn’t exactly nine-to-five, but it’s not twenty-four-seven, either. You have to stop being Levee Williams all the time and just be you.”
“I know,” I responded.
I didn’t though. I felt like a robot parading around in a lost woman’s body.
Smile.
Pose.
Turn.
Toss in the occasional song.
Repeat.
What little time I did manage to carve out for myself was spent at various children’s hospitals across the country.
Smile.
Pose.
Turn.
Watch a child die.
Repeat.
With every day that passed, the smile became less and less genuine, the pose more and more forced, and the turn took me further and further away from who I really was.
My career was soaring while, personally, I was plummeting. Every single day felt like a terrifying free fall in no particular direction. I was stuck in the middle with no way up—or down.
“You remember that girl, right?” Henry asked, tucking a hair behind my ear.
I nodded.
I did remember her. She was fun and carefree. She loved going out and dancing at nightclubs until the very last song played. She slept until noon if she could. Then, fueled by coffee alone, she’d spend the day with a guitar strapped around her neck and a notepad at her side. She had a huge heart, but she knew her limitations.
Oh, I remembered that girl. I just couldn’t figure out how to get back to her.

SYNOPSIS:
I lived my life by two principles: order and excellence.
My moral compass steered me out of the slums of backwoods Tennessee and towards the woman I was destined to become, but not without gathering a few skeletons along the way.
Eventually, I found success, but my restless, relentless nature still left me feeling unsatisfied.
Then I met a ghost.
At first, I was sure Daniello was a figment of my imagination, a beautiful and dangerous apparition with a fat cock and an animalistic hunger. He threatened my control and need for order, and in his absence, I became more haunted by my past.
He wanted me submissive.
I wanted to know him.
Then my ghost met my skeletons.
This is the first book in a series.
If you are not a fan of cursing, erotic, extremely explicit sex, immoral behavior, dysfunction, or sexual scenarios that may make you feel uncomfortable, this is not the series for you.

I was lucky to be able to Beta Read this one.
I am being 100% honest when I tell you, I didn’t find a thing wrong with this book! Angelica’s stories just get better and better. I thought “The Excess” was beyond smoking hot but this one will have panties melting EVERYWHERE!!!! Just wait till you meet Daniello ladies!!
Camouflage is a spin-off of The Excess Series. We met Taylor Ellison in that series. She was Nina Scott’s assistant who later ends up becoming her business partner. I really didn’t know what to make of Taylor previously. She seemed a bit closed off and I wasn’t sure that I really wanted to read about her, but of course, Angelica’s gift at story telling succeeded in completely changing my mind.
Taylor is a very strong willed and bad ass heroine! She had to learn to be tough and fend for herself from a very young age. She had an abusive, drug addicted mother, and a neglectful father. From such a young age, she did whatever she had to in order to get herself out of the crap life she was born into.
Now a successful businesswoman, she is loving life and she likes to have her fun with men too. Lately she’s been frequenting The Rabbit Hole. If you’ve read The Sexual Awakenings series, then you would know this is an exclusive sex club where we met Violet and Rhys, whom Taylor happens to know. Taylor has been frequenting the club a lot more recently because of a tall, dark, and handsome man she has seen almost every night there. She hasn’t felt a strong attraction to a man in a long time. Daniello Di Giovanni finally introduces himself to her but their meeting is cut short when he’s called away by a business associate.
While she’s back at home, at a local club, she happens to run into Daniello and HOLY SHIT, what happens is FREAKING HOT and let me just say Taylor wasn’t the only one whose panties melted!! OMG this man! I mean maybe in RL, he might have gotten slapped for his actions but if I were to fantasize about a sexy encounter with a HOT Alpha male, this might just be the way I’d want things to go down!
Daniello is definitely a dangerous man and he basically tells Taylor he wants her but that whatever is between them is strictly physical and will end on his terms only. Taylor hasn’t let a man dominate her in a very long time and there is a struggle for power between the two in the beginning but through it all, the sexual chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS HOT!!
Daniello’s business, whatever that may be, and Taylor’s past, combined, will cause quite a bit of action and could possibly threaten what is starting to build between the two. It starts off purely sexual but actual feelings begin to develop between Daniello and Taylor.
I’m anxious to get my hands on the next book because this ends on a bit of a cliffy. One I truly didn’t see coming and I’m dying to know how it all plays out for Daniello and Taylor.
I am not exaggerating when I say this is one hell of a FABULOUS start for a new series. Angelica definitely has written another winner!! I can’t wait for you all to read this! You will definitely be panting for Daniello!!
The book is due out October 31st!! Less than a week to wait for it. 🙂

Taylor Ellison is a 29 yr. old woman who grew up in Dyer, Tennessee & lived most of her childhood in a constant state of fear. Her life was never her own until she was able to abandon everything she ever knew & start over. She didn’t want the fate she was cursed with to be all she ever had, so 13 years ago she walked away from her old life, & did what was necessary to free herself from her past. She came from nothing, but ends up attending Harvard & making a life for herself that she is proud of.
Now Taylor is a very successful businesswoman living in Charleston, South Carolina. She co-owns a company with her best friend & is extremely wealthy. She has succeeded in changing her image & escaping her past. She wants for nothing & surrounds herself with excellence. Professionally she is fulfilled, but personally she is looking for a bit of excitement. Taylor is only interested in casual sex with no attachments. Her past has taught her you can’t count on love, so Taylor just wants to sate her sexual desires. She’s restless & wants a man who will understand her body & her needs.
Taylor often frequents a sex club called The Rabbit Hole hoping to find a man that catches her eye. She continues to notice a gorgeous exotic looking man that intrigues her. His name is Daniello Di Giovanni. Eventually they make a connection & he asks Taylor to spend time with him. She agrees and they start enjoying each other physically. He’s arrogant, controlling & Taylor can’t get enough of him or resist him.
As Taylor spends more time with Daniello, he continues to be very mysterious, & she realizes he has a secret life she may not be pleased with. He seems dangerous, but she can’t let him go. We start to see a softer side of Daniello emerge & Taylor is completely addicted to this man! We get some surprises from Taylor’s past that pop up, some action thrown in, & some seriously hot sexy times! This was my first book by Angelica Chase & it was fabulous! She sure knows how to write an exciting sexy story! I can’t wait to read more from her & am dying to know what happens next with Daniello & Taylor! 😀

(Arc Kindly provided by author in exchange for an honest review)
This was my first Angelica Chase novel and all I can say is WOW!I can’t believe I waited this long to read one of her books, silly me.
Think of this author as a very talented and passionate musician; one that will play with your emotions and will take you away on a sensual rhapsody and at the end of it all, leave you begging for more…
Taylor is a woman who works hard and plays harder.
For the past few years she’s been focused on her career and has successfully made it as partner in a very profitable company . She doesn’t have time to date so she indulges herself in a sex club where she’s seen a beautiful and mysterious man, who has been playing the staring game with her. The gorgeous guy is Daniello, a man that plays only by his own rules and he is about to show Taylor a very dangerous yet decadent game, one she won’t be able to resist.
Taylor’s past is the reason why she’s such a guarded person. She’s always calculating every single move she makes, never allowing herself to let her emotions get the best of her, but when she’s around Daniello she loses all control, and how delicious it is to give into him.
Both Taylor and Daniello are extremely strong individuals so their relationship starts as a sort of battle of the sexes. Who will walk away first? Who can resist the longest?
Taylor has all the money she could ever wish for and yet she feels like there’s a void in her life and so she will feel tempted to go back into her past and try to find some of the missing pieces in her life but little does she know that deception and darkness will be waiting for her in the little town where she once left her heart.
This story delivers a punch. When you start reading, the plot takes you on an erotic path and by the end of the book, the thrill and mystery will leave you mesmerized. Love is not the main focus for neither of the main characters. They are on a different quest, but their encounters are explosive and for me this was one of those books where you think by mid-story I had everything figured out but Oh no!!, turns out I was not even close and I loved that.
The unpredictability of this story mixed with the eroticism left me truly panting and yes, there’s a cliffhanger, so you can imagine how desperate I am for the next book. Needless to say I was in dire need of a few martinis after I was done reading.

This was my first Aly Martinez book ever and it was definitely love at first read!!!
The subject matter of this book is very serious yet the author managed to write it in a way that wasn’t heavy or overly sad; on the contrary, she made it sweet and very inspiring. I totally fell in love with the characters and this incredible story.
Smart.
Beautiful.
Kind.
Brave.
Levee Williams is an international Pop Star. She is wildly successful as a music artist and has more money and fame than she knows what to do with but she’s not happy, in fact, she feels lost and completely miserable with her life.
Tired of being handled and pulled in twenty different directions, but not knowing how to fix her own life; Levee finds herself on a rainy night at the edge of a very dangerous and tall bridge. For the pass three nights she’s been visiting one of San Francisco’s tallest bridges, looking for a way out, an answer to fix the despair in her life.
Sam Rivers also has a habit of visiting the same bridge but for completely different reasons, yet he is just as lost as Levee. When Sam first saw her, he was able to see right through her. Even though he couldn’t recognize the artist due to her funny disguise, he could see the pain that was surrounding Levee.
Sam and Levee’s chemistry was explosive and these two quickly found themselves swimming in a deep sea of passion, after one desperate kiss that said more than a thousand words. Ever since that sexy night they spent together, they both knew something special and electric had been born between them.
The pain and darkness they both carried is what pulled them together but also what might break them apart.
Sam is obsessed with being a savior to everyone around him who needs help and Levee is addicted to the fast life. She’s always working, trying to please and help everyone in her life, and has completely forgotten about herself. These two characters complete each other so beautifully and together they will find more than love; support and inspiration.
I loved this book because like I said before, even though it talks about very sensitive topics, the plot is not done in a sad or dark way. The most beautiful thing about Sam and Levee’s relationship was their humor. They are constantly making each other laugh and as you read, you can’t help but laugh and fall in love with them.
Sam was one delicious hero. He’s very sexy and full of tattoos but also had the biggest heart ever. He’s so sweet and always knows the right thing to say, I can’t tell you how many of his sentences I highlighted while reading this book. I loved him so much and I wish he was real!!!
I will yell from the rooftops READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!. I was so impressed with this author’s writing style, I was completely lost inside this beautiful story and I will not waste any more time and will make sure I read every single one of her books.

Levee Williams is a celebrity living in San Francisco who is feeling very overwhelmed with her crazy schedule. Her life is running her into the ground & she has things haunting her from her past. She’s exhausted, depressed & finds herself going to a bridge most evenings and staring out into the water contemplating jumping.
Also often at this same bridge is a tattooed sexy man named Sam Rivers. He is equally as lost & lonely as Levee, & they strike up a conversation about the fact that they are both possibly at the bridge cause they could be suicidal. Sam has his own demons & is struggling with his past as well. They’ve both hit rock bottom, but form a friendship & take comfort in talking with one another. The more time they spend together, the less pain they feel.
-“I’m not perfect, and I’d like to pretend you aren’t, either.”
-“I’d like to struggle with you.”
-“I more than like you. I hardly know you, but I want to keep you. Just the way you are. Maybe forever.”
They develop a strong connection & start to feel more in control when together. Their attraction ignites & even though they come from different worlds, they both want each other desperately. They make it work, help each other to heal, & we get a beautiful HOT love story! 😀
-I wanted her to be mine.

SYNOPSIS:
NFL center Ethan Dexter’s focus has always been on playing football and little else. Except when it comes to one particular woman. The lovely Fiona Mackenzie might not care about his fame, but she’s also never looked at him as anything more than one of her brother-in-law’s best friend. That ends now.
Fi doesn’t know what to make of Dex. The bearded, tattooed, mountain of man-muscle looks more like a biker than a football player. Rumor has it he’s a virgin, but she finds that hard to believe. Because from the moment he decides to turn his quiet intensity on her she’s left weak at the knees and aching to see his famous control fully unleashed.
Dex is looking for a forever girl, but they live vastly different lives in separate cities. Fi ought to guard her heart and walk away. But Dex has upped his game and is using all his considerable charm to convince Fi he’s her forever man.
Game On
EXCERPT:
I grin up at him. “You know, before this, I’d have taken you for a hard rock, or maybe even a bluegrass fan.”
“It’s the beard, isn’t it,” he asks.
“And the man-bun.”
He laughs, a short rumble of sound. “Want me to let it down?”
Yes. Maybe.
“Not necessary. Man-buns are hot. I blame Jason Momoa. There was only so much watching him bang Khaleesi the female population could take before they wanted their own Khal Drogo.”
Shit. I really don’t know what the hell I’m doing. Because it sounds a lot like flirting to me. Instinct tells me flirting with Ethan Dexter isn’t something to do lightly. And there’s the fact that I don’t go for athletes. At all. I don’t care how fit they are. Or how confident. I don’t like sports. Football bores me. Oh, I know tons about the sport—kind of impossible not to in my family—but I don’t want to pretend that I care when I’d rather talk about other things.
Dex’s eyes crinkle again, and he turns toward me, leaning an elbow on the table. “Doesn’t Momoa have a beard?”
I wave my hand. “Who has time to look at his beard when his muscles are on display?”
I most certainly do not look at Dex’s phenomenal arms.
“So your stance on beards is?” His gaze so strong I feel it in my toes.
My breathing picks up. “Don’t particularly like them.”
It’s the truth. And yet I can’t help but look at his. It’s dark, framing his mouth, which should be a turnoff for me. Only it draws all my attention there. To the shape of his mouth—the upper lip a gentle curve, the lower lip fuller, almost a pout. There’s something slightly illicit about the whole effect.
I clear my throat, glance up, and find him watching me through lowered lids. He doesn’t seem particularly put out by my frankness.
“What don’t you like about them?”
Is he serious?
He stares at me.
I guess he is.
Taking a quick sip of my drink, I search for an answer. “They’re just so…fuzzy. Prickly.”
He moves in, not crowding me, but putting himself at arms’ reach. He smells faintly of cloves and oranges. It must be his aftershave or cologne, but it works for me.
I’m distracted by it and almost jump when he speaks again. “Do you know this based on experience, or are you making an assumption?”
My gaze narrows. “Aren’t you the philosopher.”
“You didn’t answer the question.”
“Fine. Assumption.”
His lips quirk. “You should find out if your assumption is true before you condemn the beard.”
“Is this some sort of creepy way to get me to touch your beard?”
A challenge flashes in his eyes. “There are a few guys at the bar sporting beards. You could go ask them. But I figure since we know each other…”
“Not that well.”
“You’d rather ask a stranger?”
“You’re assuming I care enough to ask, Slick.”
His teeth shine white in the shadows of the club. “I know you’re curious. You’re fairly twitching with wanting to know.”
I flatten my hands against the table and glare. Is it just me, or is he closer? Close enough that I can see his eyes are hazel, lighter around his cornea with a starburst pattern. I wish I could see the colors, but he’s painted in shades of blue and gray right now.
And he’s watching me. Patient. Calculating. Tempting.
“It’s always the quiet ones,” I mutter before taking a breath. “Okay, I’ll pet your fuzzy face.”
“Hold up.” Without hesitation, he reaches for my drink and takes a sip. “Liquid courage.”
A strangled laugh leaves me. “Because I’m sooo scary.”
“You have no idea, Cherry.”
I think I growl at him. I definitely want to give his precious beard a good, hard tug. But he simply lifts his brows at me. “Get on with it, then.”
This cheeky bastard is totally playing me. And here I am falling into his trap. Because I cannot look away from his beard now. More specifically, his lips, which are parted just slightly. An invitation. A dare.
Shit. I’ve never been very good at ignoring a dare.
I hate that my hand trembles as I reach up to touch him. He stays perfectly still, his arm casually slung on the edge of the booth behind me, his body turned toward mine. But I don’t miss the way his breathing has kicked up just slightly.
I hesitate, shy almost. Hells bells, I’m only going to touch a bit of facial hair. Why does it feel like we’re two kids tucked in a dark corner, playing a game of “I’ll show you mine”?
Annoyed with myself, I close the distance between us.
