REVIEW – STUCK-UP SUIT by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

stuck - up suit cover

SYNOPSIS:

From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on.  And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

stuck up suit teaser 1

Soraya Venedetta is an Italian woman living in Brooklyn. She works as an assistant for a daily column called Ask Ida. While on the train to work one morning she has a chance encounter with a gorgeous stuck up suit. This man looks like a Greek God, & is sitting across the aisle from Soraya. She knows they are complete opposites, but she still can’t take her eyes off of him. With one glance she can tell he oozes success, wealth & arrogance, but wow is he hot!

When he exits the train this mystery man accidentally drops his phone. Soraya picks it up with plans to return it but decides to snoop through it first. She finds out this powerful beautiful man’s name is Graham Morgan & he owns Morgan Financial Holdings. When Soraya finally goes to the trouble of tracking down Graham’s office to return his phone, the cocky prick won’t even bother to see her. She takes a few sassy selfies of her best assets on his phone & then leaves it behind along with a few choice words yelled outside the door on her way out.

Suddenly Soraya gets a response from the hottie with the king complex. Seems she’s definitely got his attention. He starts sending her sexy texts & it gets quite steamy. Graham continues to pursue Soraya till she finally agrees to go out with him. He can’t get enough of her feisty attitude & finds her absolutely stunning. She is the first woman who calls it like it is, & doesn’t just fall at his feet. He’s intrigued by her, & likes how genuine & real she is.

As the couple spends time together they have to overcome their differences. They come from totally different worlds but soon realize they are both crazy about each other. Soraya soon gets to know the real Graham & learns he’s beautiful both inside & out. His past has hardened him over the years & caused him to put his career first. Being with Soraya shows Graham what it’s like to be truly happy again. She brings him out of his shell & helps him to live again & shows him he’s capable of so much love. I loved this book so much & this man totally stole my heart! This was such a fun flirty read! I highly recommend it! 😀

“Your name may not be tattooed over my heart, but it will always be etched into my soul.”

This book was definitely UNPUTDOWNABLE!!

I loved this book from beginning to end. I really did have a hard time putting this one down. What is amazing is that with two authors co-writing, I never felt like there was ever a time where the story didn’t flow perfectly. It was as if Penelope and Vi were melded into one person and wrote a truly wonderful book.

Soraya Venedetta is a feisty and unique woman, who dyes the tips of her hair different colors to signify what mood she is in on any given day. She works as the assistant to a newspaper advice columnist and often times gets to provide advice back to some of the readers who ask for help. She has a non-existent relationship with her estranged father and that has bled into her personal life. Soraya finds it hard to trust men and has abandonment issues.

Her world is about to take an exciting turn and it starts during a train ride to work when she sits next to an extremely handsome businessman who seems to be an arrogant ass from what she observes from his cellphone conversation. Fate lends a hand in bringing these two together when Soraya finds his phone on the floor of the subway car. She finds out that his name is Graham Morgan and where his office is located and then sets out to return the phone to him. When he refuses to see her, Soraya takes a few choice photos of herself and texts them to him and then walks out. She only ends up intriguing Graham and sparking his curiosity. Graham becomes determined to find her and once they finally meet face to face, my God, the chemistry is off the charts hot! Graham is a seriously sexy and filthy talking Alpha Male. It’s practically impossible to avoid falling madly in love with him.

Graham and Soraya come from completely different worlds and on the outside it would seem that they are an odd couple, but there couldn’t be two people that were more meant for each other than these two. Even though Soraya felt self-conscious when going to functions with Graham, he never was ashamed of her style and oftentimes encouraged Soraya to let her hair down. Literally!! I loved how he pursued her relentlessly and the sex was Out Of This World AMAZING!!!! I’m talking you are going to need a few fresh pair of panties because get ready to have your panties melted right off of you!!!

There are a few things I need to add that just made me love this story so much more. Graham is a closet General Hospital watcher. Even his little Westie is named after one of the famous characters from that soap opera during the 1980s. I got a kick out of the two discussing some of the more popular characters of that show because it used to be my favorite back in the day. When Graham’s mother passed away, it affected him so deeply and he closed himself off a bit, but he always remained close with his grandmother. He visits with her and dotes on her often, which made him that much more appealing.

I’m trying to think of something that I didn’t like about this one and I’m coming up blank. This story had it all. I HIGHLYrecommend that you go and one click this asap!!
